Abstract

ABSTRACTMental health is a crucial aspect of individual well-being, yet it is a pressing concernamong Indonesia's younger generation. Data from the 2022 I-NAMHS shows that34.9% of adolescents experience mental health issues, with 5.5% diagnosed with amental disorder. Studies also indicate that cases of mental disorders, particularlyanxiety and depression, peak in early adulthood (21-23 years). However, it is still only2.6% of adolescents who access services. Globally, the WHO identifies adolescents asbeing at high risk for mental disorders, with depression being the leading cause ofdisability and suicide the leading cause of death among those aged 15-29. In responseto this gap, this project developed "Inner Threads," an interactive visual novel game asa medium for mental health education. The game targets late adolescents and youngadults in Indonesia, highlighting issues of emotional management and burnout, as wellas the importance of professional support. This approach aligns with Generation Z'spreference for digital technology and gaming. This is supported by an interest survey,which showed 84.7% of respondents were interested. The development of "InnerThreads" used the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method. The finalresults showed that this game was effective in conveying an educational message andincreasing user awareness, empathy, and understanding of mental health issues. Thiseffectiveness was demonstrated by playtest results with respondents aged 18-24, wherethe majority felt a substantial emotional impact, found the story relevant, andappreciated the visuals and music that supported the immersive experience. This gamesuccessfully triggered self-reflection, fostered awareness of the importance of supportfrom those around them, and even motivated them to seek professional support.Keywords: Mental Health, Adolescents, Early Adults, Educational Games, VisualNovels, Inner Threads, Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis implementasi Manajemen Mutu Terpadu (Total Quality Management) berbasis fokus pelanggan dalam meningkatkan kepuasan layanan pendidikan di SDN 007 Sangatta Utara. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap 21 informan yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, orang tua, dan siswa. Analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta didukung kuantifikasi sederhana melalui tabulasi hasil wawancara. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa implementasi TQM berbasis fokus pelanggan berjalan baik, terutama pada aspek responsivitas layanan dan komunikasi sekolah dengan orang tua. Sebanyak 18 dari 21 informan menyatakan waktu respons layanan berada pada rentang ≤24 jam. Sebanyak 20 informan menilai penggunaan media komunikasi digital seperti WhatsApp efektif dalam mendukung pelayanan. Tingkat kepuasan pelanggan berada pada kategori tinggi, terutama pada interaksi guru dan proses pembelajaran. Beberapa aspek masih memerlukan peningkatan, terutama layanan administrasi, fasilitas, dan pemanfaatan teknologi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the key factors influencing the success of administrative digitalization implementation at SMK Negeri 2 Sangatta Utara. A mixed-method approach with an explanatory sequential design was employed, involving questionnaire data from 163 respondents and in-depth interviews with selected key informants. The examined variables include management support, human resource competence, technological infrastructure, system suitability, and user acceptance. The results of multiple linear regression analysis indicate that all five variables significantly affect the success of administrative digitalization, with user acceptance emerging as the most dominant factor (β = 0.341). The adjusted R² value of 0.684 demonstrates that the model explains 68.4% of the variance in digitalization implementation success. These findings highlight the importance of integrating technical and human aspects in digital transformation and provide strategic recommendations for schools to strengthen administrative digitalization in order to enhance the effectiveness of educational governance.
