Abstract

The objective of the study is to assess the effectiveness of online and offline learning through higher education. The sudden outbreak of Covid-19 in various part of the world in 2020 has severely affected the educational institutions in various countries. Students were affected in the way to accept the hybrid form of learning and also grasp the interest towards the classes that were conducted online. The study aims to investigate the effectiveness of online and offline education in higher education. The study was carried out in India, Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries with 100 respondents among which major responses were from the youth population studying in Bachelor’s program, Diploma and Master’s mostly. The findings indicated that the effectiveness of online education is dismal, as students find it difficult to adjust to the online mode of education and the offline mode of education remains the most preferred mode of education.

Abstract

The Covid 19 outbreak is spreading across the globe, affecting the health of thousands people and creating shocks in almost all industries due to restrictions and policies to work from home (self-quarantine) to break the chain of virus spread. The consequences of steps taken by the countries of the world to curb the pandemic have a huge impact on the global economy. Four Season Resort Langkawi Malaysia is an international luxury hotel and resort. However, the Covid 19 pandemic has had a negative impact on the sustainability of this industry.  Therefore, this study aims to understand the performance and investigate the problem faced by Four Season Resort Langkawi Malaysia.

Abstract

The worldwide educational system was greatly damaged by COVID-19 pandemic and the urge in closing of educational institutions had affected children around the world. The infectious character of COVID-19 had signaled those teachers and students’ personal interactions were greatly influenced by confinement and forced isolation. As the consequence, educations have fundamentally been shifted significantly towards E-learning, which involves teaching on interactive networks and long–distance. E-learning is the only way for students to continue their study in their house during the pandemic. The study aims to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of various modes, devices, methods of E-learning platforms. The primary data from national and international institutions obtained through a survey with the community from different schools, colleges, and universities, to determine the effectiveness and efficiency of E-learning for students. A total of 200 respondents from Malaysia and India have completed the online survey. The findings of the study indicated that the efficiency and effectiveness of E-learning in Malaysia is higher than in India. Students prefer E-learning in future due to its wide acceptance among the community. The findings provide some new insights that will contribute towards E-learning in both countries.

Abstract

This study explores customer satisfaction in the context of AirAsia Berhad, a prominent low-cost airline. It focuses on three key dimensions: tangible, assurance, and responsiveness. The research reveals that tangible factors, such as the physical aspects of service, significantly influence customer satisfaction. Assurance, which encompasses competence, courtesy, and reliability, also plays a crucial role in keeping customers content. Moreover, responsiveness, or the airline's ability to deliver prompt and efficient service, enhances overall satisfaction. Understanding these dimensions is vital for AirAsia and similar airlines, as addressing them can meet customer expectations, foster loyalty, and improve overall performance. This research offers insights into the complex relationship between service quality and customer satisfaction in the airline industry, guiding strategies for enhancing the passenger experience.

Abstract

The desire to raise customer satisfaction is driven by the rising demand for high-quality services from customers and the fierce competition in the fast-food business. The objective of this study is to examine the factors effecting customers’ satisfaction at Burger King including perceived product quality, price and service quality in Asian Countries. The countries selected for this study are Malaysia, Indonesia, India. A quantitative method was applied using surveys to collect data from customers. There were 126 customers who had made purchases at Burger King's who participated in the survey. This study found a substantial relationship between every independent variable and customer satisfaction. As a result of the findings, Burger King should focus on maintaining food quality, serving customers with speed and keeping the price competitive to have a positive impact on satisfaction.

Abstract

With the advancement of technology and implement of the fourth industrial revolution, digital wallet payment methods have appeared as the latest wave in the market. People can now enjoy cashless payments with a simple tap of a button. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, digital wallet use among consumers significantly increased. The study was conducted to analyze the factors influencing users' behavioral intention in using the electronic wallet (e-wallet)- Touch ’n Go E-wallet. To explore, the collection of both primary and secondary data is done through several sources, and a digital questionnaire was produced to collect data and information from 150 respondents. We tested hypotheses using IBM SPSS Statistic software. The result indicated that perceived usefulness, perceived convenience, perceived trust, and perceived security of the Touch ’n Go E-wallet application significantly influence consumer behavioral intention using the e-wallet payment method.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate how English Proficiency, Employability Skills and Job Mismatch affect unemployment rate among youth graduate students. This quantitative research distributed an online questionnaire to collect data from 300 unemployed youth graduate students. The findings concluded that  English proficiency and job mismatch  have significant positive relationship with unemployment rate, whereas employability skills possess a significant negative relationship with unemployment rate. The findings contribute to the continuous improvement on unemployment rate among the youth graduate students of Malaysia by English proficiency, employability skills and job mismatch.

Abstract

There is a high level of stress faced by employees of Bin Chen Parts Private Limited Company. The research was conducted to examine the factors causing job stress in workplace. There are 36 respondents from Bin Chen Parts Private Limited Company collected in the present research by using quantitative measurements. Google form was selected to use in this research. The collected data from the research were adopted to verify the hypotheses of the research. The results show that there is a significant positive relationship between job demands and job stress. Conversely, the relationship between job resources and job stress is relatively negative. The results of the research will be finalized precisely and sent to Bin Chen Parts Private Limited Company to enhance the work-life in the company. The employers of the company are able to aware of the factors affecting job stress among employees in their company.

Abstract

Apple has a large customer base in Malaysia because they offer products of superior design and features. The main objective of this study is to determine the contributing factors to Apple’s sustainability in Malaysia’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Industry. This study is conducted based on quantitative research with 100 targeted respondents from Malaysia. The findings indicate that the marketing strategies, brand awareness, and customer experience are the major factors of the successful pathway of Apple’s sustainability. The research concludes that Apple Industry should adapt a frequent reengineering approach where the existing and upcoming Apple products will satisfy customer needs.

Abstract

 This research aims to investigate how price, service quality, and perceived value affect customer satisfaction among consumers of Telekom Malaysia broadband. This quantitative research distributed an online questionnaire to collect data from 271 current or former customers of Telekom Malaysia Broadband. The findings concluded that service quality and perceived value have significant positive relationships with customer satisfaction, whereas price possesses a significant negative relationship with customer satisfaction. The findings contribute to the continuous improvement on customer satisfaction among consumers of Telekom Malaysia broadband and other telecommunication providers by improving price, service quality, and perceived value.
