Abstract

The article writer uses a type of participatory action research method. This is because the PAR method is an action considered as "systematic and oriented towards data analysis whose answers require the collection and analysis of data and the generation of interpretations directly tested in the field of action involving action researchers and members of society or organizations who seek to improve their situation. This dedication The participatory action research method was chosen because in this service it is an activity carried out to see the educational process carried out in the community in the form of actions to improve their situation as in the field it was found that there were several children who were still unable to read, write and count. This service was carried out by providing learning assistance to children who are in elementary school at SDIT An-Nahl, especially lower class children, namely class I. The form of activity is learning to read, write and count (mathematics). namely class I where the number of children participating is around 20 children.

Abstract

Having the ability to compile textbooks that can be used in learning is certainly one of the factors that can support a teacher's professionalism. However, to be able to write well you need continuous practice and knowing writing tools, one of which is a tool that can add references and bibliography. Therefore, applications are needed that can help teachers add references and bibliography, namely Publish or Perish (PoP) and Zotero. This research aims to describe the use of the PoP and Zotero digital applications in the process of preparing textbooks by the board of teachers at the Royatul Islam Islamic Boarding School, consisting of twenty teachers. The methods applied in this activity are lecture, demonstration and simulation methods. The flow of implementing this research is divided into three stages, namely the preparation stage, implementation stage, and evaluation stage. The data analysis technique uses descriptive analysis techniques. The research results showed that 90% of participants answered that they were able to operate the PoP digital application to find references in compiling textbooks. Apart from that, 90% of training participants in using this digital platform agreed that the PoP and Zotero applications would increase their knowledge and skills in searching for references and bibliography in compiling textbooks

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how to create an electronic header using Flip PDF Professional software. The limited availability of teaching materials in schools causes this problem. Apart from that, e-modules are not technically used as teaching materials by educators. Apart from that, because teachers have not created their own e-module-based teaching materials, learning only depends on textbooks. Researchers carry out research and development (R&D) or development using a four-stage development version, which consists of defining, designing, development (developing), and dissemination (disseminating). This research uses validity and practicality test sheets. The study shows that the product is an e-module that uses a professional PDF flip. The validation results of the E-module show that it is very feasible in terms of appropriateness of content, media, and language. An average score of 87% is categorized as very appropriate in terms of language eligibility. Apart from that, 96% of students and 95% of teachers stated that the E-module could be used as teaching material for reading the proclamation text for class V UPT SDN 23 Cubadak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dipaparkan oleh peneliti yang menjadi pokok permasalahannya adalah siswa kurang berpartisipasi dalam proses pembelajaran dan hasil belajar siswa yang rendah. Adapun tujuan penulisan penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti yaitu untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah proses pembelajaran menggunakan strategi inkuiri dan untuk mengetahui peningkatan partisipasi siswa setelah proses pembelajaran menggunakan strategi inkuiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Adapaun subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar di Batu Bulek, Kabupaten Tanah Datar. Adapun teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu stratistik deskriptif (descriptive statistics). Pada penelitian ini peneliti mengambil dua teknik analisis data yaitu mean dan persentase. Persentase yang di dapatkan pada siklus I adalah 26% dengan kriteria persentase penlaian kurang dan maka hasilnya masih sebagian kecil siswa kelas II yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui strategi inkuiri ini di SDN 20 Batu Bulek. Persentase yang didapatkan pada siklus II adalah 65% dan jika disesuaikan dengan penialian persentase Baik maka hasilnya masih sebagian besar siswa kelas II yang mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar melalui strategi inkuiri ini di SDN 20 Batu Bulek. Persentase yang di dapatkan pada siklus III adalah 100% dan jika disesuaikan dengan persentase naik sekali maka hasilnya hampir seluruhnya siswa kelas II sudah mampu meningkatkan hasil belajarnya. Berdasarkan penerapan strategi inkuiri dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran PKN di kelas 2 UPT SDN 20 Batu Bulek, dan melalui penerapan strategi inkuiri dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa pada pembelajaran PKN di kelas 2 SDN 20 Batu Bulek

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Interaksi sosial merupakan salah satu kebutuhan mendasar bagi manusia sebagai makhluk sosial. Di tengah perubahan zaman dan modernisasi, nilai-nilai kebersamaan dalam masyarakat sering kali menurun akibat kesibukan individu yang semakin meningkat.Tujuan: Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah mengkaji peran tradisi yasinan dalam meningkatkan interaksi sosial masyarakat jorong Koto Nan Tuo. Metode: Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan metode yang diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan program pengabdian kepada masyarakat melalui Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) mencakup merencanakan, bertindak, merubah, mengetahui, dan memahami. Hasil: Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yasinan dapat mempererat interaksi sosial masyarakat. Selain itu kegiatan yasinan menjadi wadah dalam berbagi informasi antar sesama masyarakat. Kesimpulan: Kegiatan rutin yasin ini membawa dampak positif bagi masyarakat jorong Koto Nan Tuo.

Abstract

Writing this article aims to look at the dynamics of performance development and analysis of the tasks carried out by each individual citizen from a gender perspective between men and women in their work as civil servants in Indonesia. The method developed is a qualitative method with an analysis of literature studies related to the implementation of the work of civil servants, both women and men in Indonesia. The findings obtained are how the performance of women has more variety and uniqueness than the performance of male employees. With variations in the form of responsibility, in this case it shows that in terms of the concept of work, the demands of men are higher in carrying out tasks because most men are responsible for sustaining family life, but the workload provided by the government always pays attention to aspects of gender needs. for each individual civil servant.

Abstract

Job enrichment and delegation of authority are widely recognized as effective strategies to enhance the performance of educational staff and increase organizational productivity. However, at the Tanah Datar Regency Education and Culture Office, these strategies are not yet being implemented as expected. This study aims to optimize worker education by examining the contributions of job enrichment and delegation of authority to work motivation. The study tests three hypotheses: (1) job enrichment contributes to the work motivation of educational staff; (2) delegation of authority contributes to the work motivation of educational staff; and (3) job enrichment and delegation of authority together contribute to the work motivation of educational staff. The research involved 140 educational staff members, with a random sample of 57 selected using a stratified proportional random sampling technique based on educational level, class, and length of service. Data were collected using a validated and reliable Likert scale questionnaire. The findings reveal that job enrichment contributes 16% to work motivation, delegation of authority contributes 28.09%, and the combined contribution of both factors is 42%. The current levels of job enrichment and delegation of authority at the Tanah Datar Education and Culture Office are considered sufficient, while the work motivation of educational staff is rated as good. The study underscores the importance of enhancing job enrichment and delegation of authority to further boost staff motivation and achieve better organizational outcomes.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan motivasi, pengetahuan, dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru, khususnya peserta MGMP PPKn di Kabupaten Sijunjung, guna menghasilkan dan menerbitkan karya ilmiah sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan profesionalisme guru PPKn di Kabupaten Sijunjung. Kegiatan layanan dilakukan secara kontinu selama 3 pertemuan, yaitu pada tanggal 17 September 2022 di SMP 14 Sijunjung dan pada tanggal 21 dan 28 September 2022 secara daring. Kegiatan layanan ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, diskusi kelompok terfokus, dan metode pelatihan. Kegiatan PkM (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat) berhasil memberikan motivasi dan inspirasi kepada peserta dalam menulis dan menerbitkan karya ilmiah. Peserta menyatakan kepuasan yang tinggi, menekankan konten pelatihan yang jelas dan menarik. Materi yang disediakan, dengan fokus pada keterampilan praktis, diterima dengan baik dan dianggap dapat langsung diterapkan. Semua peserta mengonfirmasi kesesuaian materi dengan tema pelatihan dan kemudahan pemahaman, serta gaya presentasi yang menarik. Yang lebih penting, 95% peserta mengakui dampak positif PkM pada motivasi, peningkatan pengetahuan, dan perbaikan keterampilan, terutama bermanfaat bagi guru MGMP PPKn di Kabupaten Sijunjung dalam menghasilkan dan menerbitkan karya ilmiah.This service activity aims to provide motivation, knowledge and improve the skills of teachers specifically for MGMP PPKn participants in Sijunjung Regency to produce and publish scientific work as an effort to improve the professionalism of PPKn teachers in Sijunjung Regency. Service activities are carried out continuously over 3 meetings, namely on September 17 2022 at SMP 14 Sijunjung and on September 21 and 28 2022 online. This service activity is carried out using lecture methods, focus group discussions, and training methods. The PkM (Community Service) activity successfully motivated and inspired participants in scientific writing and publications. Participants expressed high satisfaction, emphasizing the training's clear and engaging content. The provided material, focusing on practical skills, was well-received and deemed immediately applicable. All participants confirmed the alignment of the material with the training theme and its easy comprehensibility, along with an engaging presentation style. Crucially, 95% of participants acknowledged the PkM's positive impact on motivation, knowledge enhancement, and skills improvement, particularly benefiting MGMP PPKn teachers in Sijunjung Regency in producing and publishing scientific works.

Abstract

This research focuses on how disciplined character can be instilled in scouts who are raised in scout extracurricular activities at Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh Islamic Elementary School. The purpose of this research is to describe the trainer's efforts in forming a disciplined character in students through scout activities at Raudhatul Jannah Payakumbuh Islamic Elementary School. This research was conducted at Raudhatul Janah Payakumbuh Islamic Elementary School involving 20 students who took part in scout raising and coaching activities. This type of research is qualitative research using three data collection techniques, namely interviews, observation and documentation. From the results of observations made, it shows that scout extracurriculars can form a disciplined character in students. The formation of this disciplined character can be formed due to the efforts made by the trainer by applying punishment methods and giving appreciation to students for PPB material and pioneering activities.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the empowerment of science extracurricular programs as a strategy to improve student achievement in Islamic elementary schools. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects included upper-grade students, science club mentors, and school administrators. Findings reveal that well-structured science extracurricular activities significantly increase students’ interest and motivation in learning science. Activities such as simple experiments, group discussions, and science competitions help students develop critical thinking skills, curiosity, and teamwork. These programs not only improve academic outcomes, particularly in science subjects, but also foster essential character values like discipline, responsibility, and self-confidence. The study concludes that empowering science-based extracurricular activities can be an effective approach to enhancing the academic and personal growth of students. Schools are encouraged to provide sustainable support and innovation in extracurricular planning to ensure long-term educational benefits
