Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus, transmitted through the bites of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. Environmental factors play a significant role in the emergence of outbreaks, particularly in Manado City, which has a high population density and intense community mobility. Insufficient health education among students leads to a lack of understanding regarding DHF. To address this issue, an outreach program was conducted to provide accurate information. This initiative aimed to enhance students' knowledge about DHF and its prevention strategies, utilizing lecture and discussion methods at SMA Negeri 4 Manado. The outreach activity involved a community service team and university students, with 51 students and accompanying teachers participating. The results indicated a notable increase in students' understanding of DHF prevention. It is recommended that all students and teachers at SMA Negeri 4 Manado actively engage in cleaning the school environment to eliminate mosquito breeding sites and prevent the spread of this disease. This outreach is expected to empower students as agents of change in promoting personal and community health.

Abstract

MSMEs in Indonesia are required to pay final taxes in accordance with Government Regulation No. 23 of 2018, with a tax rate of 0.5% of gross turnover. This obligation is designed to simplify the taxation process for MSMEs. This study aims to examine the influence of the Self-Assessment System and MSME Income Turnover on MSME Taxpayer Compliance, with Emotional Intelligence as a Moderating Variable. The data for this research were obtained from MSME taxpayers registered at KPP Pratama Makassar Utara who agreed to participate as respondents. This study utilized primary data collected through field research by distributing questionnaires/statements to 92 respondents. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistical analysis and PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of the study indicate that the Self-Assessment System and MSME Income Turnover have a positive and significant effect on MSME Taxpayer Compliance. Furthermore, the positive and significant effect of the Self-Assessment System and MSME Income Turnover on MSME Taxpayer Compliance is strengthened by Emotional Intelligence.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the utilization of brand awareness in the Sovia Kitchen business to increase sales. The research method used is qualitative descriptive research with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation of a research object, which will then be analyzed using data analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Research results show that the utilization of brand awareness can be an important strategy for Sovia Kitchen in increasing sales. High brand awareness will make more consumers recognize and remember Sovia Kitchen, which in turn can influence their purchasing decisions. By building a strong brand image and increasing consumer awareness of the products and services offered, Sovia Kitchen can attract more new customers and retain existing ones, thereby directly contributing to increased sales. The strategies that may be implemented include the use of social media, consistent promotions, collaboration with influencers, and the improvement of product and service quality. All of this aims to enhance brand recognition and customer loyalty towards the Sovia Kitchen brand.

Abstract

The development of MSMEs in the culinary field continues to experience growth. The simplest packaging is a container used to wrap and protect the product. In facing the tight competition in the culinary business, a strategy is needed so that a business can be recognized and remembered by consumers. One of them is to develop packaging to serve as a marketing medium through designs that showcase brand identity, thereby differentiating it from similar businesses. This research aims to create packaging designs for Jihan Cake and Cookies to enhance brand identity. The development method used is the Design Thinking method with five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The empathy stage involved field observations to identify the existing problems, the define stage involved information gathering and problem identification, and clearly defining the scope of the problem. The ideation stage involved critical, creative, and innovative thinking. The prototype stage involved printing three alternative packages to be shown to customers, and the test stage involved giving questionnaires to consumers to see which package design received the most votes and to assess the feasibility of the packaging. The results of the product feasibility testing show that the packaging of Jihan Cake and Cookies is very feasible with a high percentage of 88.5%. Based on the packaging selection results, the first packaging design received the most votes, and the owner has also agreed to use it. Thus, it can be concluded that the product packaging can serve as a marketing medium by displaying the logo, colors, and shape, thereby creating a brand identity in the physical aspects of the packaging to make it easily recognizable and memorable to consumers, distinguishing it from competitors.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berangkat dari permasalahan rendahnya tingkat literasi keuangan dan penerapan manajemen risiko pada pelaku Usaha Kecil dan Menengah (UKM) yang dapat memengaruhi keberlanjutan bisnis. UKM sebagai sektor dominan dalam perekonomian daerah membutuhkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan keuangan yang baik agar mampu bertahan di tengah dinamika pasar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh financial literacy dan risk management terhadap business sustainability dengan financial decision making sebagai variabel mediasi pada pelaku UKM di Kabupaten Mamuju, Provinsi Sulawesi Barat.Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang disebarkan kepada 200 responden pelaku UKM yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berbasis SmartPLS, yang memungkinkan pengujian hubungan langsung dan tidak langsung antarvariabel. Proses analisis meliputi uji validitas dan reliabilitas konstruk, pengujian hipotesis, serta evaluasi model struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa financial literacy dan risk management berpengaruh signifikan terhadap business sustainability, baik secara langsung maupun melalui financial decision making sebagai variabel mediasi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan pemahaman keuangan dan kemampuan manajemen risiko dapat memperkuat keberlanjutan usaha UKM. Manfaat penelitian ini adalah memberikan rekomendasi bagi pelaku UKM, pemerintah daerah, dan lembaga keuangan dalam merancang program peningkatan literasi keuangan dan manajemen risiko. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk memperluas cakupan wilayah, menambah variabel lain seperti dukungan teknologi digital, serta menggunakan metode longitudinal untuk memperoleh hasil yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

Abstrak. Keberhasilan pembelajaran PKn dapat diukur dengan keberhasilan siswa mengikuti aktivitas pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil observasi yang peneliti lakukan ditemukan bahwa masih banyak siswa yang bermain saat guru menjelaskan materi pembelajaran. Masih ada siswa yang kurang memiliki sikap keberanian dalam mengemukakan pendapatnya. Kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah, berdiskusi, dan ketepatan dalam menjawab masih rendah. Guru masih menggunakan metode ceramah dan jarang menggunakan media dalam menyampaikan pembelajaran. Dalam upaya meningkatkan pembelajaran PKn di kelas, peneliti melakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dan penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn pada pokok bahasan keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia siswa kelas V MI Ujung Bulo Kec. Parangloe Kab. Gowa tahun pelajaran 2021-2022. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penilaian daya serap klasikal pada Siklus I dan II sebesar 72,84% dan 87,39%. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar klasikal pada Siklus I dan II sebesar 62,50% dan 90,62%. Dan daya serap individu pada Siklus I dan II sebanyak 20 siswa dan 29 siswa. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang dilakukan peneliti memiliki efektivitas dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PKn Pada Pokok Bahasan Keutuhan Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia siswa Kelas V MI Ujung Bulo Kec. Parangloe Kab. Gowa tahun 2021-2022.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan bertujuan: (1) menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh profitabilitas terhadap nilai perusahaan (studi pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia; (2) menguji dan menganalisis struktur modal terhadap nilai perusahaan (studi pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia); (3) menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh likuiditas terhadap nilai perusahaan (studi pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deksriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengambilan dengan menggunakan Purposive Sampling Method yaitu semua jumlah populasi diambil berdasarkan kriteria yang telah ditentukan untuk menjadi sampel dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan adalah 12 perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman selama periode 2019 sampai dengan 2023. Dalam hal ini untuk mengkonfirmasi hipotesis teknik penelitian melalui laporan tahunan keuangan kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis regresi linier berganda yang didukung okeh aplikasi SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions) 25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) profitabilitas berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (studi pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia); (2) struktur modal berpengaruh secara positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (studi pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia); (3) likuiditas berpengaruh secara negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (studi pada perusahaan manufaktur sub sektor makanan dan minuman yang terdaftar di bursa efek Indonesia). Rekomendasi penelitian: (1) agar investor mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh pergerakan saham dalam jangka pendek dan panjang; (2) memaksimalkan nilai perusahaan beserta risiko keuangan.

Abstract

Macroeconomic variables influence the sustainability of export activities, so it is considered necessary to identify the macroeconomic variables that affect exports and to know the direction and magnitude of the influence of the variables on the export of industrial processed wood from Indonesia to Australia. Secondary data from official sources from 2000 to 2019 were analyzed using multiple linear regression in logarithm form. The results obtained on the variable plywood population, price, and exchange rate of the rupiah have a positive effect, negative GDP and R Square 65.6%. For sawn wood, GDP and the rupiah exchange rate have a positive effect, population and price have a negative effect with R Squared 81.1%. In the veneer, the variable GDP has a positive effect, the population, the price, and the exchange rate of the rupiah have a negative effect and the R squared is 41.8%.
