Abstract

The growth of used bicycle buying and selling businesses in Boyolali Regency has created intense competition, making trust, perceived risk, and price important factors influencing purchase intention. This study aims to analyze the influence of trust, perceived risk, and price, both partially and simultaneously, on purchase intention for used bicycles in Boyolali. This quantitative causality study involved 113 consumers aged 20–45 who had purchased bicycles in Boyolali. Data were collected through a structured Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression to examine the relationships among the variables. The results show that trust, perceived risk, and price, both partially and simultaneously, have a positive and significant effect on purchase intention, with price being the most dominant variable. These findings confirm that increasing trust, managing perceived risk, and setting competitive prices play a significant role in increasing purchase intention for used bicycles in Boyolali. Furthermore, the results provide practical implications for used bicycle sellers to develop effective marketing strategies by strengthening customer confidence, reducing perceived transaction risks, and offering prices that are competitive and aligned with consumers' expectations and purchasing power, thereby improving their competitiveness in the local market.

Abstract

Plastic waste from conventional bottled water remains a major environmental challenge, particularly in emerging markets where trust in tap water is low and single-use plastic dominates daily consumption. Although sustainable alternatives are increasingly available, little is known about the behavioral mechanisms driving consumer transitions in this high-volume FMCG category. This study examines the determinants of switching intention toward eco-friendly bottled water by applying the Push-Pull-Mooring (PPM) framework, addressing a critical gap in the literature where PPM has rarely been tested for green packaged products. Data were collected from 101 consumers through an online survey and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The findings show that push factors and pull factors significantly enhance switching intention, while mooring factors exert a strong negative influence. Mooring also moderates the pull-intention relationship, indicating that habitual and structural constraints can weaken the impact of product attractiveness on switching behavior. The model explains 72.4% of the variance in switching intention, demonstrating strong explanatory power. The study advances PPM theory by extending it to eco-friendly bottled water and providing a more integrated understanding of how dissatisfaction, green value perceptions, and behavioral inertia jointly shape consumer migration in sustainable FMCG contexts. Practically, the results offer guidance for firms and policymakers seeking to reduce plastic consumption by highlighting which drivers to amplify and which barriers to mitigate. This research contributes novel evidence on consumer switching toward environmentally responsible drinking-water alternatives.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of competence, compensation, and workload on the performance of implementing staff of the Free Nutritious Meal (Makan Bergizi Gratis/MBG) Program in Mliwis Village, Cepogo District, Boyolali Regency. A quantitative approach combining descriptive and verificative methods was employed. All 42 program staff were selected as respondents through a saturated sampling technique, and data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire. Multiple linear regression analysis was carried out with the assistance of IBM SPSS Statistics, preceded by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The partial test (t-test) showed that compensation had a positive and significant effect on staff performance, whereas competence and workload did not show a significant partial effect. Nevertheless, the simultaneous test (F-test) confirmed that competence, compensation, and workload jointly and significantly influenced staff performance, with an adjusted R square value of 0.754, meaning that the three variables explained 75.4 percent of the variance in performance. These findings suggest that strengthening the compensation system deserves priority attention in efforts to improve the performance of village-level MBG program staff, without disregarding the long-term importance of competence development and proportional workload management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the situation in Indonesia, which is a maritime country, where most of the population works as farmers. Most of the farmers' income on the slopes of Mount Merapi and Merbabu comes from tobacco sales. This has led the study to address issues arising from factors such as price, packaging, and market guarantee in relation to farmers' decisions to sell tobacco to Merabu Partnership. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze how price, packaging, and market guarantee affect tobacco sales decisions, both partially and simultaneously, within the Merabu Partnership. The sampling technique used in this study is non-probability sampling. The research approach uses descriptive quantitative research. The linear regression analysis technique is used to get an overall picture of the variables by using hypothesis tests (t-test, F-test, and R-Square test). A sample was taken from 130 tobacco farmer respondents in Selo District, Boyolali Regency. The research results show that the price variable has a significant effect on sales decisions, while the packaging and market guarantee variables do not have a significant effect on sales decisions. Simultaneously, the variables of price, packaging, and market guarantee have a positive and significant effect on sales decisions.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of price, product quality, and location on the purchase decision of mie soun consumers at UD Putra Tunggal, Mergoluweh Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency. The growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Central Java has been significant, reaching 197,539 units in 2025, creating increasingly competitive market conditions that compel business actors to understand the factors driving consumer purchase decisions. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method with closed questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling—consumers aged 21 years and above who had visited or purchased mie soun at UD Putra Tunggal. Data were analysed using multiple linear regression, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing through t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R²). The results indicate that price, product quality, and location each partially have a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions. Simultaneously, the three variables also significantly influence purchase decisions with an F-value of 251.732 and significance of 0.000. The coefficient of determination (R²) shows that the three variables explain 88.7% of the variation in purchase decisions, while the remaining 11.3% is influenced by other factors outside this study. These findings confirm the relevance of the Theory of Consumer Behaviour in explaining purchase decision-making in the traditional food MSME sector.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of service quality, menu variety, and café atmosphere on customer repurchase intention, both partially and simultaneously, using the Theory of Planned Behavior. An explanatory quantitative approach was applied to 100 respondents selected through purposive sampling from a population of 44,262 customers. Data were collected using a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression in SPSS at a 5% significance level. The results show that service quality had no significant effect on repurchase intention (t = 0.031; p = 0.976), while menu variety (t = 3.957; p < 0.001) and café atmosphere (t = 5.770; p < 0.001) had positive and significant effects, with café atmosphere being the dominant determinant. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affected repurchase intention (F = 91.573; p < 0.001), explaining 73.3% of its variation (Adjusted R² = 0.733). These findings contribute empirically to the services marketing literature within the context of tourist-destination cafes and imply that managers should prioritize menu innovation and the maintenance of the cafe's atmosphere, while ensuring consistent service quality to support long-term satisfaction.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to look into the consequences of marketing through influencers and community engagement on the purchase intention of indie games in Solo Raya. A quantitative methodology with a descriptive associative technique was applied, using questionnaires distributed to 102 active Steam platform users in the Solo Raya area. Data were assessed through multivariate linear regression analysis via SPSS 25. The outcomes of the partial test (t-test) indicated that influencer marketing positively and significantly influences purchasing intentions (t = 9.023; sig. 0.000 < 0.05; β = 0.606), while community engagement also showed a positive and significant influence (t = 8.392; sig. 0.000 < 0.05; β = 0.363). The simultaneous examination (F-test) confirmed that the two variables together have a major influence on purchase intention (F = 151.571; sig. 0.000 < 0.05). The coefficient of determination (adjusted R2) was 0.764 or 76.4%, meaning both variables explain 76.4% of the variation in indie game purchase intention. These results offer practical insights for indie developers in designing effective and efficient marketing strategies through the integration of influencer marketing and community engagement.
