Abstract

This service activity aims to implement the skewer method in calculating number division for students. Participants in this service activity were class V students at MI Miftahul Hidayah. The service method used is Participatory Action Research. The results of this service show that with the skewer method students can more easily understand and complete division calculations on numbers. Students are more motivated in learning to count and improve students' numeracy skills. Through this activity, it was revealed that the skewer method was able to motivate and improve counting skills in number division material

Abstract

This research aims to determine the comparison between conventional learning models and Islamic learning models. This research uses library research methods, and data collection uses documentation methods. The data analysis uses comparative techniques, namely analyzing the philosophical foundations of conventional learning and Islamic learning and looking at these two learning concepts from the perspective of Islamic education. The research results show that Islamic education has a very comprehensive range of learning models with efforts to help develop students to be more independent based on good values ​​in their lives, so that they can form individuals who have good morals in relation to life. reason, feeling and action. The two learning models are very different conceptually, so there is a need for creative collaborative efforts from a teacher as a mediator and catalyst in the learning process. Therefore, these two learning models can be more useful according to conditions and situations, so that between conventional learning models and Islamic learning models creative and innovative collaboration will be created. Abstract

This research aims to improve children's reading skills at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Darul Muttaqin. The method used in this research is collaborative classroom action research using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model through three stages, namely planning, implementation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 23 second grade students at MI Darul Muttaqin, Cibungbulang District, Bogor Regency. The data collection methods used are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively. The success indicator set is a minimum of 75% of the total number of second grade students. This research was conducted in two cycles using letter card media. In the pre-cycle implementation, the score was 45.76%, in cycle 1 the score increased to 52.72%, and in cycle 2 it improved with a percentage of 79.13%. The results of the research showed that the initial reading skills of second grade students improved after carrying out two action cycles using letter cards as media, which was observed in the aspects of language, knowledge, language awareness and cognitive skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine teachers' skills in managing classes in mathematics learning in driving schools and analyzing supporting and inhibiting factors. The research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of field research. The research object consisted of key informants, namely the school principal and specialist informants, namely teachers and class V students at SDN Cimayang 01, Pamijahan District, Bogor Regency. Data collection techniques in this research used interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis was carried out using triangulation. The results of the research show that teachers at SDN Cimayang 01 already understand the techniques for managing the class, this can be seen from the teacher's skills in conditioning the class, responsiveness, giving even attention, skilled at providing instructions and goals, skilled at giving reprimands, and skilled at providing reinforcement. The teacher's skills are also a supporting factor for the teacher's success in managing the class. Meanwhile, the obstacles for teachers in managing classes in mathematics are the curriculum system which is always changing, the limitations of teachers in mastering learning using the Independent Curriculum, factors from the students themselves, as well as the availability of facilities and infrastructure owned by the school.

Abstract

Media belajar loose parts melalui pendekatan STEAM merupakan salah satu inovasi pembelajaran untuk menyiapkan generasi emas yang memiliki keterampilan abad 21. Namun, kegiatan belajar pada masa pandemi Covid-19 mengalami penyesuaian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran secara komprehensif mengenai implementasi media belajar loose parts melalui pendekatan STEAM di masa pandemi Covid-19. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, penelitian ini dirancang dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, setting penelitian di KB Ceria Kabupaten Bogor. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi, pengujian keabsahan data melalui teknik triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: kegiatan belajar dilaksanakan secara luring dan daring dengan menerapkan protokol Covid-19. Implemtasi kegiatan belajar terdiri dari persiapan, pelasanaan dan penutup/tindak lanjut. Tahapannya ialah ekplorasi-edukasi, eksperimen, kreatif, serta tahap membangun makna dan tujuan bermain. Setiap tahap dikaitkan dengan nilai agama dan moral. Media belajar loose parts yang digunakan terdiri dari tujuh komponen dengan menggunakan benda yang ada di sekitar anak dengan karakteristik yang berbeda-beda dan bersifat fleksibel.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the problems in the implementation of thematic learning in distance learning and provide alternative solutions to thematic learning during distance learning at SDIT Insantama Leuwiliang. To achieve this goal, this research was designed using a descriptive qualitative research type, with the research location at SDIT Insantama Leuwiliang. The research informants are school principals, teachers and students. Using audio recording research data types, field notes and documentation. Data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and documentation. Testing the validity of the data using data source triangulation techniques. Data analysis uses the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the problems of implementing thematic learning in distance learning at SDIT Insantama Leuwiliang have several obstacles, including some children who are not equipped with mobile phones, are not accompanied by their parents, there is no signal at the student's home, children do not read all material and work on problems at random, and children feel dizzy and do not understand the learning material. The alternative solution to deal with this problem is by synergizing with parents and visiting students' homes.

Abstract

This research explores the phenomenon of Wi-Fi rental for elementary school children. The purpose of this study is to understand the experiences of Wi-Fi renters, Wi-Fi service providers, and parents in assisting children's use of Wi-Fi rentals. The research method used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The research subjects consist of 4 Wi-Fi renter informants, 2 Wi-Fi service provider informants, 4 parent informants of Wi-Fi renters, and 1 key informant who is a village official (RT). Data collection techniques in this study include interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is performed using the Triangulation technique. The research findings conclude three main points. First, children have various experiences in using this service, with positive effects such as ease in finding learning resources, but also potential risks associated with unsupervised internet usage. Second, Wi-Fi service providers face various challenges, ranging from children's requests to rate and rental schedule management. Third, parents play a crucial role in guiding children when using Wi-Fi, including supervision, wise usage, and managing internet usage time. The tendency toward permissive parenting is due to parents' lack of knowledge in operating gadgets and post-Covid-19 pandemic habits.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the needs of the Cibeureum village community, Ciasmara Village in order to improve community education so that the community can be more independent in managing the natural resources available in the surrounding environment. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach through data collection derived from SWOT analysis, interviews and observations. The research results show that people basically have the desire and hope that their children can receive the best possible education in order to achieve a better life, but this is hampered by the long distance between school and where they live. So after conducting research, the need for the community to be able to improve their education towards independence in managing natural resources is to provide transportation in the form of school pick-up and drop-off services to facilitate access to education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar kontribusi faktor keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar siswa agar para orang tua murid dan guru dapat mengetahui cara yang tepat untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di sekolah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di MIS Miftahul Anwar. Sampel dalam penelitian ini diambil berdasarkan jumlah sampel dengan teknik nonprobabilitas sampling dengan sampel jenuh dimana semua populasi digunakan dalam penelitian dan didapatkan sebanyak 26 siswa.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil uji regresi linier sederhana dengan nilai signifikan (Sig.) sebesar 0,014, dimana nilai sig lebih kecil dari 0,05, dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 diolak dan H1 diterima, yang menunjukan terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara faktor keluarga terhadap motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the implementation of the outbound program on the leadership character of students at Algiva Alam School. This research uses a combination method, namely a combination of quantitative and qualitative research. Validity tests and reliability tests are used to strengthen the instruments used. The objects in the research are class V students. The informants in this research are the school principal and outbound teacher. Data collection methods use observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique uses a leadership character questionnaire and an outbound questionnaire. Based on the calculation results of the reliability test and validity test, it shows leadership character with a result of 0.82 with 10 valid questions. The outbound questionnaire showed 1.00 with 12 valid questions. The results of the reliability coefficient criteria show 0.80 ≤ r < 1.00 with a very high interpretation value. In percentage terms, the results of the leadership character questionnaire are 70% and the results of the outbound questionnaire are 78%. The results of the research show that the implementation of the outbound program on the leadership character of Alam Algiva School students is responsible, trustworthy, firm, intelligent, initiative, honest, consistent, straightforward and fair. The assessment is carried out by the outbound teacher before the activity, during the activity and at the end of the outbound teacher's activity by providing reflection to each student.
