Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan agar dapat memberikan usulan perbaikan tata letak rak penyimpanan bahan baku pada warehouse PT BBA, sehingga dapat memangkas jarak perpindahan bahan baku dengan jarak yang lebih efektif dan efesien. Dengan mengoptimalkan perpindahan pada rancangan layout alternatif yang lebih pendek. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode Activity Relationship Chart, dan aplikasi BLOCPLAN. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan layout awal warehouse PT BBA tidak optimal oleh karena itu maka perlu dilakukan perbaikan perencanaan tata letak rak penyimpanan bahan baku dengan jarak yang lebih pendek dari segi penempatan bahan baku berdasarkan tingkat kebutuhan pada produksi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis layout usulan dengan metode Activity Relationship Chart dan BLOCPLAN dapat lebih pendek dari layout sebelumnya dengan mempertimbangkan derajat kedekatan antar fasilitas. Perbandingan jarak awal 91,4m2 dan layout alternatif 78,77m2 maka didapatkan efisiensi layout alternatif 12,63m2 dan efisiensi sebesar 13,81%.

Abstract

In this process, employees who carry out deburing activities have various risks of work accidents and hazards that can be detrimental to employees and the company. Like a hand squeezed by a machine, the residual dust that is generated can cause coughing and shortness of breath. In January 2022 there was a work accident that caused an employee's hand to be injured because it was pinched by a machine in the injection molding department. The purpose of this study is to prevent work accidents and implement OHS with the aim of improving the performance of employees, especially in the deburing work process. The method used is Hazard Identification Risk Assessment and Determining Control (HIRADC). The results of the study were that there were no more types of hazardous activities or situations with extreme and high levels of risk, activities or hazardous situations with moderate risk levels became 42 risks (70%), activities or hazardous situations with low levels of risk became 5 risks (8.33%).

Abstract

As a gesture of appreciation for successful accomplishments or performance, incentives might take the shape of higher pay, bonuses, prizes, or other rewards. Giving incentives is mostly done to boost the receivers' productivity, motivation, and performance. The Gantt Task and Bonus System method requires the workshop to spend Rp. 5,320,000 and Rp. 5,590,000 in the third and fourth weeks of May, respectively. The method used in this study is production standard output, which results in the calculation of each method being that the workshop needs to spend these amounts. The workshop must pay Rp. 4,864,000 and Rp. 5,044,500 for the Taylor Piece Wage method in the third and fourth weeks of May, respectively. The workplace only pays minimum wage to those who fall short of the goal they were assigned, and those who meet or surpass the goal are awarded an incentive worth 20% of their regular pay

Abstract

In an increasingly advanced age, All kinds of work and ways change very quickly every year. oth in the field of service and manufacturing. Pt yeakin plastic industry has 3 lines one of which is plastic production, in the manufacture of its own plastic products, pt yeakin plasticindustry batam only production material that has become plastic roll into plastic polybag based on the results of observational research in the field, in finding problems in the quality of the product and in finding various defects in the product that cause the quality of plastic to be decreased and not in accordance with the standard. Abstract

The best performance assessment of suppliers in the company is an effort to improve the quality of service and provide the best products to customers. The effort aims to keep the company competitive by minimizing discrepancies in the supply chain flow. Research was conducted on PT IDCSS to find the best performing suppliers in meeting the needs of artificial ornamental plant products, to minimize problems arising from the supply of inappropriate products. The method used in this research is the VPI frame worked Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method with the main criteria of Quality, Cost, Delivery, Flexibility and Response which are divided into 17 sub-criteria. The results showed that the highest weights were the delivery criteria (0.389), cost (0.294), quality (0.157), response (0.108) and flexibility (0.052). The assessment results on supplier performance supplier MIS (0.260), YOH (0.256), FYG (0.244), CIL (0.129) and supplier SAM (0.112). This shows that supplier MIS has the best performance as a supplier of artificial ornamental plant products for PT IDCSS.

Abstract

Marsada Songket Kebaya and Tailor is a business engaged in convection in the form of services that are still classified as micro that produce products in the form of kebaya and songket. The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that cause defective products in the production process, find out the types of defects that occur and make recommendations for improvement. The methods used are Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control (DMAIC) and Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Based on the results of the study, the defects that occurred in Marsada Songket kebaya and Tailor were sewing defects, accessories defects and fabric defects. The recommendation for improvement is to set SOPs in accordance with work standards so that they can be carried out more efficiently and effectively.

Abstract

Tempe is one of the original Indonesia folk foods that is starting to become popular in the world. The tempe processing industry is classified as a micro, small and medium industry. In the face of increasingly tight business competition, companies are required to continue to develop in order to be able to face existing competition. SMEs in Batam City, precisely in Kav Sei Lekop Kec. Sagulung, a business operating in the food processing industry, uses soybeans as raw materials which are processed into tempeh. The aim of this research is to analyze the development of tempeh products using the QFD (Quality Function Deployment) method. The subjects of this research are the parties involved in Tempe Titik 2 UKM and their consumers. Determination of sample size using the Slovin formula. Based on the results of the data and analysis, it is known that there are 8 attributes that consumers want, while the HOQ (House of Quality) results on the customer needs indicator obtained the largest value, namely the value of tempeh availability. product, while the functional indicator that obtains the greatest value is the form value. and the size of the tempeh product is as expected and UKM "Tempe Point 2" must add or change the shape and size of the tempe product, in order to be able to compete in the market and meet consumer demand.

Abstract

Rafael Donut UKM is one of the small businesses that produce donuts with various kinds of toppings, along with the business of donut products experiencing problems, namely the high variability rate, so it is necessary to conduct research to reduce the product variability rate. The methods used to analyze variability, namely with Six Sigma and Taguchi Method to design quality improvements, are carried out by making Taguchi experiment designs as the right and optimal parameters. The parameter design used in this study is an orthogonal array matrix 16 with four level designs and five influencing factors. The results of the study show that these five factors can affect the variability number and design proposals generated from the Taguchi experiment based on the SNR of the effects, namely A4, B4, C4, D4 and E4. Based on research, it shows that product quality variability requires quality parameters to be designed to maintain the expected product quality

Abstract

Supplying raw materials and selecting suppliers is one of the most important things in producing quality products. UKM Ayumi Pastry experienced problems in managing the supply of banana raw materials optimally and experienced problems determining the best banana supplier. In this research, raw material inventory processing was carried out using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method and supplier selection using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The aim of this research is to analyze the supply of banana raw materials by selecting selected suppliers and ordering economical supplies. Control of raw materials using the EOQ method, namely economical ordering by placing 20 orders in 2023, the order quantity is 217.29 kilograms. Meanwhile, according to Ayumi Pastry's policy, this is done 13,25 times with an order quantity of 371 kilograms. The TIC according to EOQ for the costs incurred is Ro889,943 less than the costs incurred by the UKM Ayumi Pastry policy. For the AHP method, the supplier selected is Supplier A as the main priority in fulfilling banana raw materials with a weight of 0.5245 and Supplier B as a backup supplier in fulfilling banana raw materials is in Rank III with a weight of 0.1929.

Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) Mulya Mandiri is a SMEs that produces frozen meatballs in Batam.In facing the challenges of maintaining the quality of their products with The limitations of resources, technology, capital, and human resources often become obstacles in implementing an effective quality control system. In the study, it was found that the reject or defect rate of frozen meatball products was quite high. The most common product defects found are the wrinkled texture of the meatballs, followed by the shape of the meatballs not being perfectly round, being flat, and the meatballs clumping together. From the obtained data, it will be processed using the Statistical Quality Control method, which has tools such as check sheets, histograms, Pareto diagrams, control charts, and fishbone diagrams. Then it can be analyzed using the Fault Tree Analysis method, which is useful for identifying the root causes of defects in the product, as well as the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis, which is useful for determining potential failure modes, assessing the occurrence and severity of failures, calculating the Risk Priority Number (RPN), and proposing corrective actions to reduce the RPN value.
