Abstract

Social media is one of the online media that often used by the wider community to convey information to others and play an important role in the education process. Social media also provides the concept of space to interact and share knowledge by providing group facilities for students who join and discuss various topics, collaborate and use educational applications to manage learning activities. Medicine is one of the fields that has gained an important foundation through the application of one concept such as e-learning. To formulate learning with an effective e- learning system, collaboration must occur between educational institutions, instructors and technology experts. Although the use of the internet as a learning medium is very potential, not all learning materials can be replaced through social networks. In the learning process, the use of social networking is more stimulating cognitive abilities of medical students, but the skills and motor skills to conduct physical examination, history taking, practicum, and affective assessment of students should still be done face-to-face learning.

Abstract

Sectio caesarea surgery or cesarean section is a labor procedure to remove the baby through an incision in the abdomen (laparotomy) and uterus (hysterotomy). These surgeries are increasing all over the world (ACOG, 2021). The level of this operation continues to increase as evidenced by the report from the World Health Organization or WHO which will be published in 2021. The research was conducted using the literature review method. Literature review is a systematic, explicit and reproducible method for identifying, evaluating and synthesizing works. research results and ideas that have been produced by researchers and practitioners. The results of observations during the study on post-sectio caesarea (SC) birth mothers with the ERACS method, it was found that the implementation of early mobilization after 2-4 hours after surgery, most of the respondents were able to sit, and some even dared to stand. Then, after 8-10 hours, almost all of the respondents had removed the catheter, and some of the respondents had even taken a walk. After 13 hours after surgery, all respondents, based on the discussion above, which referred to several articles and journals, showed that the Caesarean section method had significant side effects, but there were also several advantages to the ERACS method, namely being able to make it easier and more effective in giving birth.

Abstract

Hypertension is a disease that commonly occurs in diabetes mellitus patients. There are 40 to 80 percent of DM patients who suffer from hypertension. Hypertension in diabetes mellitus increases the risk of cardiovascular complications. Even though there have been many studies that have proven that reducing blood pressure in diabetes mellitus patients has an effect on reducing the risk of cardiovascular complications, research shows that only 48 percent of the population can achieve a blood pressure target of less than 130/80 mmHg. The pathophysiology of hypertension in DM can be associated with a sedentary lifestyle, excess calorie intake, insulin resistance, dysregulation of the autonomic nervous system, premature vascular aging, increased intravascular volume, renal dysfunction, renin-angiotensin-aldosterone-system (RAAS), innate and acquired immunity, as well as environmental and socio-economic factors. Risk factors for hypertension in diabetes mellitus include age, gender, education, marital status, blood type, total cholesterol levels, HDL levels, LDL levels, triglyceride levels, smoking habits, employment, physical activity, body mass index, heredity of hypertension, DM heredity, and duration of suffering from DM, and blood glucose levels.
