Abstract

Nursing documentation serves as an essential indicator of nursing care implementation, providing evidence of a nurse’s report on a patient’s health progress. Nursing documentation serves various purposes, including administrative, medical, legal, financial, research, educational, accreditation, statistical, and communication purposes. Incomplete nursing documentation can adversely impact patient safety and nurses themselves. Currently, nurses’ understanding of nursing documentation remains suboptimal. A recent question-and-answer session with several ICU nurses at SMC RS Telogorejo revealed that one of the barriers to completing nursing documentation is nurses’ lack of clear understanding of how to document using computerized systems. This study employed an analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of all ICU nurses at SMC RS Telogorejo, totaling 42 individuals. The sampling technique used was total sampling, resulting in a sample size of 42 nurses. The research instruments included a demographic data questionnaire and a Nurse Perception Questionnaire on Completing Nursing Documentation. The research findings indicate that nurses’ perception of completing nursing documentation is mostly positive, with 41 individuals (97.6%) having a favorable perception. Factors supporting and hindering nurses in completing nursing documentation include nurses’ ability to document according to nursing standards, sufficient availability of devices, ease of applying computer-based nursing documentation programs, and regular training and supervision in computer-based nursing documentation. This study contributes to nursing knowledge and serves as a reference for enhancing the understanding of nurses’ perceptions regarding completing nursing documentation.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in enhancing student learning outcomes in the Embedded Systems course at State Vocational High School (SMKN) 10 Makassar. Traditional lecture-based teaching methods, which still dominate learning activities, are considered less effective in promoting student engagement and deep understanding of the material. To address this limitation, the PBL approach was introduced as an alternative that emphasizes real-world problem-solving and student collaboration. The research employed a quasi-experimental design involving two groups: an experimental group that applied the PBL model and a control group that continued with conventional instructional methods. A validated multiple-choice test, reviewed by subject-matter experts, was used to assess students’ cognitive performance. The findings demonstrate that the application of PBL significantly enhanced learning outcomes. The experimental group achieved a mean post-test score of 19.19, notably higher than the control group’s average score of 12.96. Results from the t-test analysis indicated a statistically significant difference between the two groups (t = 9.821 > t-table = 1.669). Furthermore, the N-Gain score for the experimental group was categorized as moderate (0.53), while the control group’s gain was classified as low (0.15). These results highlight that the PBL model not only strengthens students’ conceptual mastery but also fosters critical thinking abilities and better prepares them to meet challenges in technology-oriented work environments. This study offers valuable insights for enhancing instructional practices within vocational education settings.

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the Cake Application supported by Self-Directed Learning (SDL) in enhancing students’ speaking skills at SMP Negeri 3 Galesong Selatan. A quantitative research design with a quasi-experimental approach was used. Data was collected through pre-test and post-test assessments, with a population of 135 eighth-grade students across six classes in the academic year 2024/2025. The sample consisted of two classes, the experimental class (VIII C) and the control class (VIII D), each with 20 students. The study found that the Cake Application supported by Self-Directed Learning (SDL) significantly enhanced students' speaking skills, with the experimental group showing a larger increase in mean scores (68.67) compared to the control group (62.67). Statistical analysis indicated significant enhancements in both groups from the Pre-Test to the Post-Test, with the experimental group demonstrating a more substantial change (Z = -3.949, p = 0.000). Additionally, the experimental group had a higher mean rank (26.80) than the control group (14.20) in the Mann-Whitney U test (Z = -3.770, p = 0.000). with the effect size (Cohen's d ≥ 0.8) indicating a significant effect of Cake Application through Self-Directed Learning (SDL). This demonstrates that the intervention enhanced students' speaking skills more effectively than the conventional method. In conclusion, the study supports the effectiveness of the Cake Application through Self-Directed Learning in enhancing students’ speaking skills. The positive results highlight the potential for integrating this application into language education to improve academic performance and suggest its wider application in similar educational contexts.

Abstract

Peneliti berupaya melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah independensi, integritas, kompetensi, serta profesionalisme berpengaruh terhadap kualitas audit dalam meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas pada sektor publik. Keharusan untuk bertanggung jawab di sektor publik berkaitan erat dengan pentingnya keterbukaan dan penyajian informasi yang transparan kepada masyarakat guna memenuhi hak-hak publik untuk mengetahui dan memahami penggunaan sumber daya serta keputusan yang diambil oleh pemerintah. Riset kali ini menggunakan metode literatur review dengan mengumpulkan serta menganalisis beberapa artikel penelitian sebelumnya untuk menemukan hubungan antara independensi, integritas, kompetensi serta profesionalisme dengan kualitas audit sektor publik. Berdasarkan analisis terhadap sejumlah artikel, penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa independensi, integritas, kompetensi serta profesionalisme memiliki dampak pada kualitas audit. Seorang auditor perlu mengedepankan sikap independen, integritas, kompetensi serta profesionalisme selama proses audit agar dapat menghasilkan audit yang berkualitas yang pada gilirannya dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan publik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-experimental jenis one-group pretest-posttest design. Sebanyak 30 siswa kelas V SDN Madugondo terlibat sebagai subjek penelitian. Data minat baca dikumpulkan menggunakan angket yang diberikan sebelum (pre-angket) dan sesudah (post-angket) implementasi GLS. Analisis data meliputi statistik deskriptif dan uji-t berpasangan (paired sample t-test) untuk mengetahui perbedaan minat baca sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan minat baca siswa setelah penerapan Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. Sebelum GLS, mayoritas siswa (40%) memiliki minat baca kategori "Sedang", dengan sebagian kecil pada kategori "Sangat Tinggi" (6.67%) atau "Sangat Rendah" (10%). Setelah GLS, proporsi siswa dengan minat baca "Tinggi" meningkat menjadi 43.33% dan "Sangat Tinggi" menjadi 23.33%, serta tidak ada siswa yang berada dalam kategori "Sangat Rendah". Skor rata-rata minat baca siswa meningkat dari 65.50 (pre-angket) menjadi 78.20 (post-angket). Uji-t berpasangan menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed = 0.000) yang kurang dari 0.05, sehingga H0 ditolak. Ini mengindikasikan perbedaan signifikan pada minat baca siswa sebelum dan sesudah GLS. Peningkatan rata-rata skor sebesar 12.70 poin menegaskan bahwa Gerakan Literasi Sekolah memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap minat baca siswa.

Abstract

Learning mathematics, particularly in the area of solid geometry, is often perceived as difficult by elementary school students, which highlights the need for appropriate learning media to support their understanding. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of learning media based on the Amazing Geometry Augmented Reality application in introducing solid geometry concepts to students. The research employed a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test and post-test. The population and sample consisted of all fifth-grade students at SDN Margodadi, totaling 11 students, selected through saturated sampling. Data were collected using essay tests that had undergone content and empirical validation, as well as reliability testing. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics, a normality test, and a paired sample t-test using IBM SPSS 26. The results showed that the average post-test score was higher than the pre-test score. The paired sample t-test indicated a t-count value of 15.486, which was greater than the t-table value of 1.812, with a significance level (2-tailed) of less than 0.05. These findings demonstrate that the use of the Amazing Geometry Augmented Reality application has a significant positive impact on students’ understanding of solid geometry. Overall, this study suggests that integrating augmented reality into mathematics instruction can enhance the learning process, particularly in the introduction of spatial concepts, and offers valuable implications for the broader use of technology in elementary mathematics education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas V MIN 18 Aceh Barat pada materi mengenal sifat kubus dan balok melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD). Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa, di mana hanya sebagian kecil yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Dari 8 siswa, hanya 2 orang (25%) yang tuntas pada pra siklus, sementara 6 lainnya belum mencapai nilai ketuntasan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes hasil belajar, lembar observasi, dan catatan lapangan. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk melihat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan ketuntasan belajar siswa dari 25% pada pra siklus menjadi 50% pada siklus I, dan akhirnya mencapai 87,5% pada siklus II. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model STAD efektif dalam meningkatkan keaktifan, keterlibatan, dan hasil belajar siswa. Dengan demikian, model kooperatif tipe STAD dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran matematika yang lebih partisipatif, menyenangkan, serta mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap konsep bangun ruang sederhana

Abstract

 Penelitian ini mengembangkan sistem pakar untuk mendiagnosis penyakit gigi menggunakan metode Naïve Bayes berbasis web. Sistem ini bertujuan untuk membantu pasien dalam mengidentifikasi gejala awal penyakit gigi, sehingga mereka dapat melakukan penanganan awal secara mandiri. Metode Naïve Bayes dipilih karena kemampuannya dalam mengolah data probabilistik dengan hasil yang akurat. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan dokter gigi dan studi literatur, yang kemudian digunakan untuk melatih sistem dalam mendiagnosa penyakit berdasarkan gejala. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menerapkan metode Extreme Programming (XP) dalam pengembangan perangkat lunak, yang mencakup perencanaan, desain, pengkodean, dan pengujian. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem pakar ini efektif dalam mendiagnosis penyakit gigi, memberikan rekomendasi yang relevan kepada pengguna, serta diharapkan dapat mengurangi kesenjangan dalam akses terhadap informasi kesehatan gigi.

Abstract

Hipertensi masih menjadi masalah kesehatan karena merupakan penyakit the silent killer karena tidak terdapat tanda-tanda atau gejala yang dapat dilihat dari luar. Data menunjukan bahwa Desa Terebino menduduki peringkat tertinggi dengan jumlah 431 kasus, kemudian desa Padei Laut 362 kasus, Desa Padala 329 kasus, dan Desa Kofalagadi 282 kasus. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyuluhan melalui media video dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat terhadap penyakit hipertensi di Desa Terebino. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian Pra Experimental Study dengan menggunakan rancangan Pretest-Posttest Designs. Populasi penelitian sebanyak 74 KK. Jumlah sampel 63 responden dengan teknik penarikan sampel mengunakan proportional random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan analisis uji T-Independent. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan menggunakan uji T-Independent didapatkan nilai signifikan α = <0,05 dengan p-value = 0,000 dan hasil penelitian sikap sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan berdasarkan analisis diperoleh nilai signifikan α = <0,05 dengan p-value = 0,000. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa, ada pengaruh penyuluhan melalui media video dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan dan sikap masyarakat mengenai penyakit hipertensi di Desa Terebino.
