Abstract

In an effort to overcome oral health problems that are often faced by the people of Kabupaten Blitar-Indonesia, counseling on oral hygiene was conducted. This activity aims to not only alleviate local health problems but also support the strengthening of national resilience in the health sector. This research uses the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) method, which focuses on community empowerment through identifying and utilizing their assets. Through the concepts of national resilience and oral hygiene, this research aims to provide practical solutions for preventing and addressing oral health problems for both citizens and national interests. The education and counseling carried out are expected to increase community knowledge and understanding of the importance of maintaining oral hygiene as part of disease prevention efforts. The results achieved from this study include increased community participation in health programs, especially in the field of oral health. These results indicate an increased collective understanding of the importance of oral hygiene and how it has the potential to have a long-term positive impact on public health. This research reaffirms that improving the quality of oral health is a fundamental step in strengthening national resilience in health. Through it, the community becomes more self-reliant.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in higher education, especially in the Mathematics Education Study Program of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung, has not fully accommodated the religious context, especially in astronomy. This causes students to feel difficult and less motivated to study astronomy. This study focuses on the integration of mathematics and astronomy in teaching materials. The integration effort then resulted in the research objective, namely to develop teaching materials that integrate mathematical concepts with astronomy, so that it can improve students' understanding and motivation in learning. The type of research used is development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the study show that the development of teaching materials that integrate mathematics and astronomy is categorized as effective in improving students' understanding and interest. The resulting textbooks not only contain theory, but also practical applications and Islamic values. The integration of mathematics and astronomy in teaching materials has proven to be effective in improving the quality of learning. The development of this textbook is expected to be a reference for teachers and help students understand complex concepts, as well as instill religious values ​​in the learning process.   Pembelajaran matematika di perguruan tinggi, khususnya di Program Studi Tadris Matematika Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung belum sepenuhnya mengakomodasi konteks keagamaan, terutama dalam ilmu falak. Hal ini mengakibatkan mahasiswa merasa kesulitan dan kurang termotivasi untuk mempelajari falak. Penelitian ini berfokus pada integrasi antara matematika dan ilmu falak dalam bahan ajar. Usaha integrasi tersebut kemudian menghasilkan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk mengembangkan bahan ajar yang mengintegrasikan konsep-konsep matematika dengan ilmu falak, sehingga dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan motivasi mahasiswa dalam belajar. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pengembangan (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang meliputi lima tahap: analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar yang mengintegrasikan matematika dan ilmu falak masuk kategori efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman dan minat mahasiswa. Buku ajar yang dihasilkan tidak hanya berisi teori, tetapi juga aplikasi praktis dan nilai-nilai Islam. Integrasi antara matematika dan ilmu falak dalam bahan ajar terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Pengembangan buku ajar ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi pengajar dan membantu mahasiswa dalam memahami konsep-konsep yang kompleks, serta menanamkan nilai-nilai keagamaan dalam proses belajar.

Abstract

Learning media is a medium used to convey information in the learning process in the educational sphere, so that effective communication between teachers and students will be formed.. The learning media used by teachers in Geography subjects is mixed-media based in the form of PowerPoint and YouTube. The research was carried out at MAN 2 Blitar school because it is the only superior madrasa in Wlingi district.. The problems that researchers found were based on pre-research results, students' lack of understanding of the material presented and lack of learning outcomes. There are several problem formulations based on the results of researcher observations, namely: 1) How is the use of mixed-media based teaching media in Geography subjects in class XI-H MAN 2 Blitar?, 2) What are the obstacles and challenges in using mixed-media based teaching media in Geography subject in class XI-H MAN 2 Blitar?, 3) What is the impact of using mixed-media based teaching media on Geography subjects in class This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use interviews, observation and documentation. The results obtained by researchers are that mixed media is often used to support success in the learning process, so teachers must increase creativity to apply interesting learning media. Sometimes the internet connection network becomes an obstacle to the learning process. Even though mixed media is often used, there are still students who show boredom in learning.

Abstract

Transformasi digital dalam pengelolaan informasi akademik menjadi indikator vital bagi perguruan tinggi untuk mendukung aktivitas riset dan pengajaran. Di UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah Tulungagung saat ini masih perlu dikembangkannya situs direktori sarana-prasarana yang informatif. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis praktik terbaik situs direktori perguruan tinggi global dan merumuskan model direktori ideal yang dapat meningkatkan aksesibilitas informasi serta mendukung mobilitas sosial vertikal naik civitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi komparasi terhadap situs direktori top universitas global dari Inggris, Australia, dan Amerika Serikat. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui ekstraksi fitur navigasi dan geotagging, yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif untuk mengidentifikasi pola keunggulan desain. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi fitur visual imersif, peta interaktif geotagging, dan struktur informasi hierarkis menjadi kunci idealnya direktori skampus. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa direktori yang teroptimalisasi mampu memperpendek jarak informasi, yang secara teoretis berfungsi sebagai kanal mobilitas sosial vertikal naik bagi civitas melalui penguasaan teknologi. Kesimpulan kegiatan ini bahwa pengembangan sistem informasi yang inklusif dan responsif merupakan investasi strategis dalam mengangkat daya saing lulusan. Rekomendasi pengembangan sistem direktori terintegrasi berbasis kolaborasi unit di bawah unit bidang teknologi sangat diperlukan agar layanan kampus mampu mencapai standar perguruan tinggi unggulan global.

Abstract

Public reception of the Indonesian animated film Jumbo was analyzed through social listening to explore supernatural elements and socio-political power relations. This study aimed to examine audience perceptions of supernatural motifs, identify interpretations of power dynamics, and generate insights into digital film reception using a mixed-methods sequential explanatory design (Creswell & Plano Clark). Primary data consisted of publicly available organic conversations from 2,700 unique authors across X (Twitter), TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and blogs. Data were collected via Talkwalker using Boolean queries that combined the keyword “Jumbo Movie” with terms related to supernatural elements and power relations. The data collection period spanned from 28 April to 5 May 2025, resulting in a dataset of 201,000 mentions and 309,500 engagements. Quantitative analysis generated sentiment polarity, emotion distribution, and topic clusters. These results were subsequently interpreted qualitatively using Barthesian semiotics and Foucault–Gramsci power theory, and validated through cross-platform triangulation and a 10 percent manual review. The findings indicate that discussions were predominantly neutral (69.1%), followed by positive (27.4%) and negative (3.6%) sentiments. The character Meri is interpreted as a local cultural symbol and an agent of change embodying alternative spiritual power. This study concludes that social listening effectively bridges computational patterns with critical cultural analysis, positioning Jumbo as a cultural text that articulates identity and resistance in digital Indonesia. Comparative applications of this analytical protocol are recommended for other Indonesian films.

Abstract

Student discipline problems such as tardiness, lack of learning readiness, and low compliance with school rules are still common in secondary education. This study examines the role of sociology teachers as motivators in optimizing the discipline of 10th-grade students at MA Darul Huda Wonodadi Blitar, focusing on three aspects: 1. The role of teachers as motivators, 2. Challenges faced, 3. The impact on student discipline. A qualitative approach with a case study type was used, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation with the principal, sociology teachers, guidance counselors, and students. Data analysis used Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, with triangulation and member checks to test the validity of the data. The findings show that sociology teachers apply motivational strategies through 1. Personal approach, 2. Communicative, 3. Advice, 4. Role model, 5. Positive reinforcement. This strategy successfully shifts the orientation of student compliance from fear of punishment to awareness of internal responsibility. The challenges faced include low student learning motivation, 1. Internal student factors, 2. Smartphone misuse, 3. Social environment. The impact of the role of motivators is seen in 1. Transformation of compliance, 2. Increased activity, 3. Improvement of ethics and manners. This study provides a theoretical contribution by showing that intrinsic and extrinsic motivation strategies, not just rule enforcement, can shape sustainable student discipline.
