Abstract

In facing various challenges, companies understand that one of their greatest assets is quality of Human Resources (HR). Employees are not only expected to have superior technical skills, but to have skills and knowledge that are in line with business demands as the key to facing ever-growing competition. The existence of the Millennial generation has become the focus of attention for companies and organizations, not only because their numbers are increasing in the workplace but also because there are differences in characteristics and points of view with other generations. The aim of this research is to analyze the influence of work-life balance and work motivation on performance through job satisfaction. This research was conducted at Bank SUMUT Medan Sukaramai Branch Office with a sample of 70 respondents who were Millennial generation employees. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis with the Smart PLS application. The research results show that work-life balance directly has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on performance, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance, and job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on performance. Indirectly, work-life balance has a positive and significant effect on performance through job satisfaction and work motivation has a positive and significant effect on performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

Formalin adalah bahan kimia yang sering digunakan untuk mengawetkan jaringan, namun penggunaannya dalam makanan dilarang. Formalin, yang juga dikenal sebagai formaldehid, merupakan zat yang tidak diperbolehkan penggunaannya dalam bahan makanan. Adanya larangan menggunakan formalin pada makanan belum sepenuhnya dipatuhi, terbukti dengan masih ditemukannya ikan asin yang mengandung formalin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kadar formalin dalam ikan asin yang diperoleh dari Kota Langsa. Proses pengujian dilakukan menggunakan metode eksperimen laboratorium yang melibatkan tiga jenis sampel ikan asin; kepala batu (Osmeridae), ikan kerapu (Epinephelinae), dan ikan talang (Scomberoides lysan). Uji kandungan formalin dilakukan secara kualitatif menggunakan larutan kalium permanganat (KMnO4 ) dan reagen Nash. Hasil dari uji kualitatif menunjukkan bahwa ketiga sampel ikan asin positif mengandung formalin. Sementara itu berdasarkan analisis dengan spektrofotometri UV-Vis menunjukkan bahwa sampel ikan asin talang memiliki kandungan formalin yang lebih tinggi.

Abstract

Through community economic empowerment, farmer groups in improving the economy of the community in Cempa Village through patchouli oil which is not only a high-value natural product, but also a natural miracle that supports local economic empowerment and sustainability. This research uses a descriptive method, the type of data used is skin, the data sources used are primary and secondary data while the data collection techniques used in the study are observation, interviews, and documentation studies.  It is hoped that the results of community empowerment will help farmer groups in improving prosperity by strengthening brand identity, seizing market opportunities, and committing to sustainability so that Cempa Village towards greater global recognition so that ultimately helping the community of Cempa Village farmer groups create opportunities and start their own businesses and become financially independent.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of inflation, the BI rate, and the money supply on the growth of corporate sukuk in Indonesia. The research method used is a quantitative method using secondary data from 2015-2021 and multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that inflation had a negative effect on the growth of corporate sukuk, the BI rate and the money supply had a positive effect on the growth of corporate sukuk. This study only uses 3 factors that influence the growth of corporate sukuk, among the many other contributing factors such as industrial production, exchange rates, oil prices and profit sharing of mudharabah deposits, and others. So the use of other variables for further research is highly recommended.

Abstract

Timonius finlaysonianus adalah tumbuhan yang termasuk ke dalam famili Rubiaceae. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terkandung dalam tumbuhan T. finlaysonianus dengan menggunakan tiga jenis pelarut yang memiliki tingkat kepolaran yang berbeda, yaitu n-heksana nonpolar), etil asetat (semi polar), dan etanol (polar). Identifikasi keberadaan senyawa metabolit sekunder dilakukan dengan metode skrining fitokimia. Hasil dari pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dari ketiga ekstrak dan juga sampel kering hanya mengandung senyawa flavonoid. Kandungan flavonoid yang paling kuat terdapat pada sampel kering dan juga ekstrak etanol T. finlaysonianus.

Abstract

One of the excellent Small Micro and Medium Enterprises using the sharia system in Langsa City is a business engaged in the service sector, however, it is unfortunate that Small Micro and Medium Enterprises in Langsa City have not fully paid attention to the application of Islamic human resource management in running their business. This study aims to know how the understanding of the owners of Langsa's MSMEs about Islamic resource management, how to apply Islamic resource management in the recruitment, selection, training and development process, performance appraisal and compensation for MSMEs in Langsa City and what are the obstacles in the application of Islamic resource management to MSMEs in Langsa City. This research is a qualitative research whose research subjects are business actors engaged in services using sharia principles in Langsa City. The results showed that based on the results of the study, it was found that the owners of MSMEs basically already understand several things related to Islamic human resource management even though some of them do not know that what they are implementing is part of Islamic resource management. In relation to its implementation, these five MSMEs have implemented Islamic human resource management which consists of aspects: recruitment, selection, work contracts and compensation, while they do not fully implement training and development, while the obstacles faced by the application of Islamic values according to the MSME owners are the first, not all employees have the same understanding and second is to equalize goals (goals).

Abstract

THE INFLUENCE OF FINANCIAL LITERACY, RELIGIOSITY AND SOCIAL MEDIA ON ONLINE SHOPPING CONSUMPTIVE BEHAVIOR Abstract Purpose: This study aims to investigate the partial and simultaneous influences of financial literacy, religiosity, and social media on online shopping consumptive behavior among students. Design/methodology/approach: The research employs a quantitative method using primary data from 98 respondents, analyzed through multiple linear regression. The study assesses the impact of financial literacy, religiosity, and social media on online shopping consumptive behavior. Findings: The results indicate that, individually, financial literacy and religiosity do not have a significant effect on consumptive behavior. However, social media has a significant positive impact. Simultaneously, when considering all factors together, there is a joint relationship between financial literacy, religiosity, and social media with online shopping consumptive behavior. Research limitations/implications: This study is limited to a specific sample of 98 respondents, and the findings may not be generalized to broader populations. The research provides insights into the interplay of financial literacy, religiosity, and social media on consumptive behavior, but individual variations may exist. Practical implications: The research encourages students to be more mindful of spending and financial management. Emphasizing the role of social media in shaping consumptive behavior, it suggests interventions to promote efficient consumption and responsible online shopping practices. PENGARUH LITERASI KEUANGAN, RELIGIUSITAS DAN MEDIA SOSIAL TERHADAP PERILAKU KONSUMTIF BELANJA ONLINE Abstrak Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh literasi keuangan, religiusitas, dan media sosial secara parsial dan simultan terhadap perilaku konsumtif belanja online di kalangan mahasiswa. Desain/metodologi/pendekatan: Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data primer dari 98 responden, yang dianalisis melalui regresi linier berganda. Studi ini mengkaji dampak literasi keuangan, religiusitas, dan media sosial terhadap perilaku konsumtif belanja online. Temuan: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, secara individual, literasi keuangan dan religiusitas tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perilaku konsumtif. Namun, media sosial memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan. Secara bersamaan, ketika mempertimbangkan semua faktor secara bersamaan, ada hubungan bersama antara literasi keuangan, religiusitas, dan media sosial dengan perilaku konsumtif belanja online. Keterbatasan / implikasi penelitian: Penelitian ini terbatas pada sampel spesifik dari 98 responden, dan temuan mungkin tidak digeneralisasi ke populasi yang lebih luas. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang interaksi literasi keuangan, religiusitas, dan media sosial tentang perilaku konsumtif, tetapi variasi individu mungkin ada. Implikasi praktis: Penelitian ini mendorong siswa untuk lebih memperhatikan pengeluaran dan manajemen keuangan. Menekankan peran media sosial dalam membentuk perilaku konsumtif, ini menyarankan intervensi untuk mempromosikan konsumsi yang efisien dan praktik belanja online yang bertanggung jawab. Abstract

Background: Based on the results of observations made at Harapan Ibu Kindergarten, it was found that there was a moral and religious imbalance in childhood. Objective: This study aims to determine the influence of educational toys, namely cute smart dolls, on the moral and religious development aspects of children aged 5-6 years at Harapan Ibu Kindergarten. Method: This study uses a quantitative experimental research method using a pre-experimental research design with one group pretest-posttest with a t-test using the formula thitung > ttabel. The sample consists of 22 children, while the population is all children in the Harapan Ibu Kindergarten environment. Results: The results of the study showed that there was an increase in the moral and religious development of group B children at Harapan Ibu Kindergarten by 87.18%, which is in the high criteria with the normalization formula of acquisition. The results of the t-statistical test obtained a sig value of 0.001 <0.05 with a calculated t value of 51.516 and a t table of 1.725050. Therefore, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: Educational game tools in the form of dolls smart funny influential​ to moral and religious development of children aged 5-6 years at Harapan Ibu Kindergarten.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the marketing strategy for dried freshwater fish, the impact of dried freshwater fish business on the family economy and what factors inhibit the marketing of dried freshwater fish in Sungai Lueng Village, Langsa Timur District. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method, with data collection through in-depth interviews and observations. The respondents in this study were Mrs. Nurlinawati, Mrs. Rosliana, Mrs. Nurmala, and 5 employees of Mrs. Nurlinawati's dried freshwater fish business. The results of the study showed that the dried freshwater fish business made a major contribution to increasing income for Mrs. Nurlinawati and for employees of this dried freshwater fish business, while the results of the study for Mrs. Rosliana and Mrs. Nurmala showed that the results of this dried freshwater fish business did not contribute to increasing their income. Although there are several inhibiting factors in marketing. The main obstacle is the lack of access to marketing on other social media platforms, which limits market reach so that marketing is not optimal, this is a challenge in promoting products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kecerdasan kinestetik anak usia 5 – 6 tahun yang dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan aplikasi TikTok sebagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen desain one group pretest posttest dengan t-test atau uji memiliki rumus thitung > ttabel. Jika thitung lebih besar dari ttabel, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima dengan bantuan program SPSS Windows versi 2.1. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak kelompok B di TK Mutiara Hati Pulau Burung. Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh aplikasi Tiktok terhadap kecerdasan kinestetik digunakan rumus gain ternormalisasi dan didapat dari hasil rumus tersebut sebesar 80,6% yang berada pada kategori tinggi. Adapun teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data pada kelas eksperimen diperoleh thitung=20,833 dan ttabel 1,77093,maka thitung>ttabel (20,833>1,77093). Data tersebut menunjukkan H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Jadi dapat disimpulkan dari hasil penelitian  bahwa terdapat pengaruh aplikasi Tiktok sebagai media pembelajaran terhadap  kecerdasan kinestetik anak di TK Mutiara Hati Kecamatan Pulau Burung Kabupaten  Indragiri Hilir.   Kunci Kunci : TikTok, Media Pembelajaran, Kecerdasan Kinestetik This study aims to determine the kinesthetic intelligence of children aged 5-6 years influenced by the use of the TikTok application as a learning medium. This study uses a quantitative research method with a one-group pre-test post-test experimental design, which is tested with a t-test or a test with the formula t count > t table. If the t-count is greater than the t-table, then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted with the help of the SPSS Windows version 2.1 program. The subjects in this study were children in group B at the Mutiara Hati Pulau Burung Kindergarten. To determine the extent of TikTok's influence on kinesthetic intelligence, a normalized gain formula was used, and the result of the formula was 80.6%, which falls into the high category. Data collection techniques included questionnaires, observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of data analysis in the experimental class, t count = 20.833 and t table = 1.77093, so t count > t table (20.833 > 1.77093). The data shows that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded from the research results that there is an effect of the TikTok application as a learning medium on the kinesthetic intelligence of children at the Mutiara Hati Kindergarten, Pulau Burung District, Indragiri Hilir Regency.
