Abstract

Teaching religious and cultural diversities would possibly be one of the greatest challenges to teachers of Islamic in Southern Thai Islamic schools due to the strong Islamic ideology they hold, lack of proper training for their professional growth, and the ongoing ethno-political conflict in the area. This paper explores how such a challenge has been faced. It particularly describes the teaching process of Islamic studies in Thai Islamic schools and explores opportunities within it for promoting religious and cultural diversities. We also look into possible opportunities for Islamic teachers to teach and students to learn about the diverse reality of society. We found that the deliveries of Islamic fell squarely within the concept of teaching into religion using a heavy confessional approach. Indoctrination with a little encouragement of critical thinking was common in Islamic classes. The presentation of other faiths and cultures was designed to explore their weaknesses and fallacies from a single believed-Islamic perspective.[Pengajaran keragaman budaya dan agama merupakan sebuah tantangan besar bagi guru pendidikan keislaman pada sekolah di Thailand Selatan, seiring dengan pemahaman keislaman mereka yang kuat, kesenjangan tingkat perkembangan profesionalitas, dan konflik politik etnik di daerah tersebut. Tulisan ini mengetengahkan persoalan yang mereka hadapi, khususnya deskripsi proses pengajaran studi keislaman di sekolah Islam lokal dan peluang dalam promosi keragaman budaya dan agama. Tulisan ini juga melihat kemungkinan peluang bagi guru agama Islam dan anak didiknya untuk saling belajar dari realitas keragaman dalam masyarakat. Kami menemukan bahwa menyampaikan pengetahuan keislaman harus tepat dengan konsep pengajaran bagi pemeluk agamanya menggunakan pendekatan keyakinan yang lurus. Learning media very urgent its existence in proeses teaching and learning, it contains that meaning media not only just as teacher complement for menyapaikan information to student in perform its teaching and learning activity at within class, but can become conditioner in ketercapaian usufructs to study that maximal. therefore task a teacher is how choose media in point in learning process in one’s line that will be reached it. To choose media in point in teaching and learning process required by teacher ability in understand media elect steps precisely and implementation in learning. Partly learns in choose media sometimes looked chanted, so bases experience sometimes looked just blackboard just that be made media in processes its learning, it who excites to work through media elect steps and its implementation.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to investigate the arrangement of the madrasa work plan in Madrasah Aliyah 1 Pekanbaru. The type of this research was descriptive qualitative research, the subject of this research was the headmaster, the head of administration, the vice headmaster of the curriculum, the student affairs, and facilities and infrastructure. The object of the research was the arrangement of the madrasa work plan in Madrasah Aliyah 1 Pekanbaru. The techniques used in collecting data were interview and documentation. The analysis method used transcribing, coding, categorizing, and interpreting data. The research finding was the headmaster had designed the madrasa work plan by 1) Forming work plan by involving the head of administration, the vice headmasters, and school committee; 2) Giving direction about arranging madrasa work plan such as basics of arrangement, objectives, and budget needed in arranging madrasa work plan; 3) Arranging plan of activities such as description of activities, implementation, and expected results; 4) Arranging draft of RKJM by identifying real challenge and making work program; 5) reviewing and revising draft of RKJM; 6) Finalizing revision result of RKJM by executing the approval; 7) Signing the result of RKJM as Madrasa Strategic Plan; 8) arranging draft of RKT; 9) Reviewing and revising draft of RKT, and 10) Finalizing revision result of RKT by executing the approval. 11)Signing the result finalization of RKT as Madrasa Annual Activity Plan and Budget.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan tentang implementasi pembelajaran online dan optimalisasi pengelolaan pembelajaran berbasis online diperguruan tinggi Islam dalam mewujudkan world class university. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan pembelajaran berbasis online dalam perkuliahan sangat urgen dalam rangka mewujudkan world class university,  oleh karena itu perlu didukung oleh kesadaran akan pentingnya pemanfaatan sistem pembelajaran tersebut dari dosen di lingkungan perguruan tinggi Islam, peningkatan fasilitas dan  penumbuhan budaya terkait pemanfaatan pembelajaran berbasis online dikalangan mahasiswa sangat perlu. Pengelolaan pembelajaran online di beberapa perguruan tinggi Islam perlu  ditangani secara serius dan khusus,  agar pengelolaan pembelajaran berbasis online optimal maka  pengelola harus menjalankan tugas-tugas manajerial pembelajaran berbasis online dengan baik dengan berpegang pada prinsip-prinsip manajerial yaitu; 1) Memprioritaskan tujuan di atas kepentingan pribadi dan kepentingan mekanisme kerja, 2)  Mengkoordinasikan wewenang dan tanggung jawab, 3) Memberi tanggung jawab kepada bawahan harus sesuai dengan sifat-sifat dan kemampuannya, 4) mengenal secara baik faktor-faktor psikologi manusia, dan 5) Relativitas nilai-nilai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara pelayanan perpustakaan (X) dengan tingkat kunjungan siswa ke perpustakaan (Y) Sekolah menengah atas negeri 1 tambang kabupaten kampar. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 507 siswa. Adapun sampel yang diambil dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 84 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket dan dokumentasi. Data Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan rumus Korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Berdasarkan hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Artinya terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pelayanan perpustakaan dengan tingkat kunjungan siswa ke perpustakaan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Tambangdengan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,636.Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji korelasi dengan nilai rhitung 0,636 lebih besar dari rtabel pada taraf signifikan 5% yaitu 0,2146 (0,636 > 0,2146). Dan hasil perhitungan koefisien determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,404. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara pelayanan perpustakaan dengan tingkat kunjungan siswa ke perpustakaan adalah sebesar 40,4%. Sedangkan sisanya 59,6% (100%-40,4%) dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini. Jadi, semakin tinggi pelayanan perpustakaan maka semakin tinggi pula tingkat kunjungan siswa ke Perpustakaan Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 1 Tambang Kabupaten Kampar.

Abstract

Batam adalah kota di mana orang-orang dari banyak ragam suku/etnis dan agama hidup berdampingan. Walaupun secara umum aman dan damai, kota multikultural ini pernah mengalami konflik dan friksi antar etnis yang mengakibatkan penduduknya terpapar potensi negatif dari keragaman. Melalui disain konvergen dari pendekatan mixed-method, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi respons psikologis siswa di Batam Kepuluan Riau terhadap keragaman yang mereka alami baik di sekolah maupun di luar sekolah, dan menjelaskan bagaimana para siswa memandang keragaman tersebut. Studi kuantitatif dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket kepada 201 siswa di dua SMA di Kota Batam (usia rerata = 15,94 tahun). Studi kualitatif dilakukan dengan menginterview sepuluh orang guru dan 2 orang kepala sekolah, serta melakukan focused group discussion (FGD) kepada 18 orang siswa. Analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil studi kuantitatif  memperlihakan bahwa mayoritas siswa merasa puas atas kehidupannya di tengah masyarakat yang beragam Respon positif ini sejalan dengan hasil studi kualitatif. Siswa belajar membangun perasaan, pemikiran dan perilaku yang positif sekaligus kontributif terhadap keragaman di lingkungan sekolah dan masyarakat. Penelitian ini mengisyaratkan pentingnya program dan proses pemaparan bagi para siswa terhadap keragaman, baik di dalam maupun di luar sekolah.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic education at Madrasah Aliyah Amsilati Bangsri Jepara in cultivating students' care character. It aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the educational programs that contribute to developing this vital character trait among students. A descriptive qualitative methodology was employed to observe the implementation of various educational programs at the institution. The participants included students across all grades. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis, and analyzed through a three-stage process: reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The study identified eight principal programs that effectively foster the care character among students. These programs include community service initiatives, educational support activities, and other projects that promote the sharing of material resources and knowledge. The findings indicate that these programs significantly enhance the character of social care among students. By participating in these initiatives, students develop a sense of responsibility and empathy, which are crucial components of the care character. Islamic education at Madrasah Aliyah Amsilati Bangsri Jepara plays a significant role in strengthening the care character of students through well-structured educational programs. This study highlights the importance of incorporating such programs in educational curricula to nurture socially responsible individuals.

Abstract

This research delves into the critical role of Pancasila, the philosophical foundation of Indonesia, in shaping character education within the nation. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive methodology, predominantly through extensive literature reviews, the study investigates how Pancasila's core ethical values significantly influence character development. Emphasizing the integration of Pancasila's principles—Belief in the Divine, Just, and Civilized Humanity, Unity of Indonesia, Democracy led by the Wisdom of Deliberations among Representatives, and Social Justice for all Indonesians—this research underscores their essentiality in instilling moral and ethical consciousness in Indonesia's diverse populace. Key findings reveal the effectiveness of the threefold strategy of "star yourself, start small, starting from now" in embedding these values into character education. Despite modern challenges, the study highlights the transformative potential of Pancasila in fostering morally and ethically conscious citizens. The implications for educators and policymakers are profound, advocating for comprehensive and integrated character education strategies. This research contributes to the broader understanding of character education's pivotal role in promoting ethical development and fortifying Indonesia's unique cultural and philosophical identity.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the obstacles to implementing public relations management in schools. This research uses a case study approach at one of the vocational schools in Riau namely the Riau Tax Vocational High School (SMK). The research informants were the Head of the School, the Deputy Head of Public Relations, and the Head of the Department at the Riau Taxation Vocational School. This study found that the implementation of public relations management at the Riau Tax Vocational School has been running as it should. This was proven by the existence of school partnerships with several existing agencies to make public relations programs successful. In addition, communication has also been good through meetings with parents of students to convey the progress of students both academic and non-academic, meetings with committees to strengthen cooperative relations, and meetings with school partners to coordinate cooperation. Meanwhile, regarding the implementation of public relations on the aspect of the school's image, it was quite good with the facilitation of the development of student's interests and talents in extracurricular activities. Other results found that schools experienced problems in carrying out their activities: 1) Lack of parental participation, 2) Limited school operational funds, and 3) Schools were not ready to face the times for the curriculum synchronization process. This has implications for the smooth implementation of public relations and of course, if the school does not immediately anticipate it will affect the image and quality of the school going forward
