Abstract

Mandalika Special Economic Zone (Mandalika SEZ) has been built and developed to create an independent and sustainable tourism industry ecosystem. The digitization of destinations in the Mandalika SEZ requires the hospitality industry to be able to adapt and respond strategically. The application of technology is believed to be applied in supporting the business continuity of the hospitality industry. This study aims to investigate the perceptions of hoteliers regarding technological adaptation. The method used is a phenomenological qualitative approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews with five key informants, and documentation. The interviews were transcribed and analyzed by condensing the data, assisted by a coding table. The results of this study found that two important aspects that drive the adoption of technology in hotel operational services are the desire for operational automation and marketing agility. The technology adoption process focuses on hotel operational services that are considered a necessity in the modern era and technological advancements. The existence of this technology adoption indicates the adaptability of technology in the hotel industry. This result contributes as a significant indicator of the progress towards digitalizing destinations, crucial for enhancing the sustainable image of Mandalika SEZ. Consequently, it is strongly recommended to develop an integrated technology application model for operational services, serving as a blueprint for other stakeholders in the hotel industry.

Abstract

Thrift clothing is a product that is very popular with consumers in Indonesia. As a result, the increasing consumption of thrift clothing has attracted the attention of many academics and entrepreneurs. This research itself aims to explore consumer purchasing decisions for thrift clothing. The method used in this research is qualitative, where data collection was carried out by observing and interviewing six consumers. Data were analyzed using the content analysis method. The results of this research show that there are at least three aspects that motivate consumers to make purchases, namely product aspects (price, quality, and product availability), personal aspects (fashion taste, price expectations, and knowledge/ability to minimize risk), and social aspect (recommendation). The results of this research can be a basis for considering thrift clothing entrepreneurs to create a more customer-oriented marketing strategy; for example, if consumers are mostly students who are more sensitive to price, then the strategy can be focused on price rather than other aspects. Likewise, with the findings of other aspects, other strategies can be developed based on them.

Abstract

Abstract

Innovation has so far been studied mainly in high-tech companies, but MSMEs are no less able to innovate in their businesses. MSMEs carry out innovations, especially those related to the market, such as meeting customer demands or competing with competitors. Their biggest challenge in innovating is selling variations that are easy to imitate because competitors are very quick to imitate. However, MSMEs must remain focused on innovation, one way is by collaborating to improve their business. At the community service held on Thursday 2 May 2024, together with several universities both from within and outside the country, we lecturers provided knowledge on how MSMEs can improve their businesses through collaboration. The MSMEs who attended were also able to share what obstacles they had faced so far. In the future, it is hoped that this service to the community will continue and be sustainable. Kata Kunci: Memperkuat Kolaborasi, Ekosistem Inovasi, dan Era Start-Up.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has revolutionized the banking industry, enabling greater convenience, speed, and efficiency in financial transactions. This study aims to analyze the influence of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on behavioral intention to use the Livin’ by Mandiri appli- cation, employing the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as the theoretical framework. A quantitative research approach was used through a survey of 100 active Bank Mandiri customers who have used the Livin’ by Mandiri application for at least 1 year. Purposive sampling was used to select respondents, and data were analyzed using multiple linear regression in IBM SPSS Statistics 22. The findings indicate that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use both have a positive and significant impact on behavioral intention to use. These results confirm that user perceptions of benefits and ease of use are key drivers of digital banking adoption. Accordingly, this study reinforces the relevance of the TAM model in explaining the adoption behavior of digital banking technologies among urban communities in Indonesia, which are increasingly adaptive to digital transformation in the financial sector.
