Abstract

Women experience menopause, which is the cessation of menstruation for more than one year and the cessation of the release of the hormone’s estrogen and progesterone. The most common psychological impact of menopause is depression. Interventions that can be performed on depression include pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods. One of the non-pharmacological therapies is yoga. Yoga exercise involves the unification of body movement, breath, and mind. Most women aged >45 live in the Babakan Sari Sub-District. This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of yoga exercises in reducing depression in menopausal women in the Babakan Sari Sub-District.This study uses a quasi-experimental design with one group intervention. The population of this study was women >45 years in the Babakan Sari Sub-District, totaling 3225 people. Samples were taken using purposive sampling with the inclusion criteria of menopausal women who had partners, and the exclusion criteria were menopausal women who consumed depression medication totaling 50 people. Data collection was done using the Patient Health Questionnaire-9. Yoga intervention based on yoga practice SOP was given 3 times in 3 weeks. Univariate data analysis was done using percentages and bivariate using a t-test. The results showed that at the pretest, 25 people (50%) were experiencing moderate depression, 18 people (36%) met the criteria for mild depression, and 7 people (14%) met the criteria for mild depressive symptoms. Posttest results showed that 19 people (38%) had mild depression, 23 people (46%) met the criteria for mild depressive symptoms, and 8 people had no symptoms of depression (16%). The results of the t-test showed that p-value = 0.00 < a = 0.05. Thus, yoga exercises are effective in reducing depression in menopausal women. The results show that yoga exercises are effective in reducing depression because yoga exercises provide relaxation for menopausal women, with interventions given every 3 times a week for 3 weeks, increasing the effectiveness of yoga in reducing depression. Depression decreases after giving yoga exercises, so it is hoped that yoga exercises can be considered as an alternative intervention by health centers.

Abstract

ability of students on the perimeter and area of rectangles. Researchers applied the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by pop-up book media to students' mathematical problem solving skills on the perimeter and area of rectangles. The formulation of this problem is whether there is a significant effect of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by pop-up book media on students' mathematical problem solving skills on the perimeter and area of rectangles in class V of Gudang I State Elementary School, Tanjungsari District, Sumedang Regency in the 2023/2024 academic year. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model assisted by pop-up book media on students' mathematical problem solving skills on the perimeter and area of rectangles in class V SDN Gudang I. The research method used was experimental research with the help of pop-up book media. The research method used is experimental research with a pre-experimental research design with a one-group pretest-postest design. The sample taken was 29 students in class V SDN Gudang I. The instrument used was a written test in the form of description questions. The data analysis technique used in this study consists of a data normality test through the Lilliefors test and the t test. Based on the results of the t test data analysis, because the value of tcount = 17.591 and  ttable = 2.04841, with the testing criteria if tcount < ttable then H0 is determined. Which means that tcount is greater than ttable and is outside the H0 acceptance area, so H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So it can be concluded that the use of Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by pop-up book media has a significant effect on students' mathematical problem solving ability on the perimeter and area of rectangles. Students' mathematical problem solving ability increased from the initial data of 11% to 100% in the final data.

Abstract

Hospitals are a comprehensive part of social and media organizations whose function is to provide complete health services to the community, both curative and rehabilitative, where hospital services extend to family and environmental services. The aim of the research is to find out and analyze the influence of health service quality on patient satisfaction in the inpatient room. UPTD Datu Beru Takengon Regional Hospital in 2023. The research design used in this research is an analytical survey with a cross sectional design. The population in this study was all 167 patients in the UPTD Inpatient Room at Datu Beru Takengon Regional Hospital. The number of samples that will be studied throughout the population is 62 people. Data analysis was carried out using univariate, bivariate and multivariate analysis. The statistical tests used are the chi square test and logistic regression. The results of the chi square test research show that there is an influence of 8 variables, namely technical competence, human relations, effectiveness, efficiency, continuity, security, human relations and comfort, which have a p-value <α 0.05, meaning that technical competence, human relations, effectiveness, efficiency, continuity, safety, human relations and comfort influence patient satisfaction in the UPTD inpatient room at Datu Beru Takengon Regional Hospital, and in the multivariate test there are 8 variables influencing technical competence, human relations, effectiveness, efficiency, continuity, security, interrelationships. human and comfort with the results of the multiple logistic regression test showing that the comfort variable is the most dominant with an odds ratio (OR) of 18.455, meaning that it influences patient satisfaction 18 times. The conclusion was that the dominant variable had the most influence on patient satisfaction in the UPTD Inpatient Room at Datu Beru Takengon Regional Hospital. It is recommended for hospitals to adopt policies to increase patient comfort in treatment rooms in order to produce optimal satisfaction for patients.
