Abstract

Upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan, khususnya Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini bukanlah perkara yang mudah. Hasil observasi Di Pusat Kegiatan Gugus (PKG) Kecamatan Kupang Timur, menunjukkan adanya kendala yang dihadapi lembaga PAUD dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, antara lain keterbatasan tenaga pendidik yang memiliki latar pendidikan PAUD, juga keterbatasan pengelola dalam memahami sdelapan standar akreditasi untuk lembaga PAUD. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka dilakukan upaya peningkatan mutu Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD), khususnya di lembaga PAUD yang ada di Kabupaten Kupang, NTT.. Kegiatan peningkatan mutu berbentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan mengadakan pendampingan .   Hasilnya  tercapainya  indikator keberhasilan yang telah direncanakan terutama untuk pemenuhan standar-standar pengelolaan PAUD dalam persiapan menghadapi akreditasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the management of non-formal education unit programs in Kupang City, especially at the Obor Timur Ministry's Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM), which was seen from several aspects, namely planning, organizing, mobilizing, supervising, and evaluating. qualitative approach with case study method. The case study method is used with various considerations about a case with a more in-depth study and the conclusions are not for generalization or the conclusions of the research results cannot be applied or are limited to other cases. programs to solve various problems that exist in the community, (2) the organization of the institution provides the division of authority and duties of each division. Such as determining educators, tutors in accordance with scientific fields, (3) mobilizing there are several schedule changes in accordance with the principle of providing extra-curricular education that is more flexible than formal education program services, (4) Institutions carry out monitoring by first setting measurement standards then compare it with the reality on the ground.

Abstract

The development of the creative economy in Indonesia encounters several obstacles, including regulatory issues and government protection, as well as the need for more technological knowledge and innovation owned by business people. Higher education academics, as intellectuals, play an essential role in developing this creative economy, considering that academics are very closely related to science, technology, and research innovation. This article will discuss Indonesia's creative economy and how people perceive it. Furthermore, it will look at the importance of higher education as a printer for young entrepreneurs in the sector. This article examines two aspects of curriculum development based on the creative economy and work placements for young entrepreneurs. It will then demonstrate how young graduates can be empowered to build creative economy careers. This research uses a literature review as the design. Five articles were taken as the data sources for this study. The results of the study show that to create young creative workers, higher education must create a curriculum that is based on the creative economy and is oriented towards; competency-based, facilitating creativity, skills, and talents possessed by students, and there is a balance of soft science and hard science for future tertiary graduates. In the narrative of job placement for young creative workers, every tertiary institution is trying to connect and even be able to create business opportunities in various sectors of the creative economy without looking at the economic and social factors of these young creative workers.

Abstract

penelitian ini berfokus pada kemampuan anak-anak yang putus sekolah dan pra-sekolah, dimana kegiatan ini diharap dapat mengatasi berbagai masalah khususnya dalam dunia Pendidikan. Pengabdian ini dilakukan melalui kegiatan Pendidikan dengan berbagai persiapan dan perencanaan yang telah disusun. Pada proses ini pembelajaran dipantau dan dilakukan dengan berbagai persiapan media .

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran guru dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK GMIT Syaloom Airnona Kota Kupang serta apa saja faktor yang menghambat perkembangan kemandirian anak. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian yang digunakan adalah guru kelompok B2 dan Kepala Sekolah di TK GMIT Syaloom Airnona. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam mengembangkan kemandirian anak di TK GMIT Syaloom Airnona kota kupang sudah sangat baik, dimana guru menjalankan 6 peranan yang dapat membantu mengembangkan kemandirian anak, antara lain; peran dalam memberikan pemahaman positif, Peran dalam membiasakan anak untuk rapi, Peran dalam memberikan permainan, Peran dalam memberikan anak pilihan sesuai dengan minat, Peran dalam membangun komunikasi dengan orangtua anak komunikasi Sedangkan faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam perkembangan kemandirian anak ada faktor internal (karakter anak yang berbeda) dan faktor eksternal ( pola asuh orangtua dan lingkungan).        Kata kunci: peran guru, kemandirian, anak usia dini

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the evaluation of the implementation of the quality of equality programs during the pandemic in the realm of non-formal education. This type of research is a qualitative program evaluation research using a goal base oriented evaluation mode approach which aims to measure the extent to which the goals of formal education have been achieved. The data collection technique in this study used the participant observation technique. The results in this study indicate that based on the evaluation of the context, input, evaluation process and product evaluation of equivalence education package C at PKBM Zaitun, PKBM Oenggae Belajar, PKBM Ita Esa and SPNF Rote Ndao regency are classified as good. However, in the evaluation process it is still considered not good, this can be seen from each PKBM and SPNF in Rote Ndao regency carrying out a predetermined learning process, tutors design their own syllabus and lesson plans, tutors understand the material and learning methods, but in applying the method face-to-face learning, tutorials and independent each PKBM and SPNF have not implemented optimally.

Abstract

Women and children are increasingly vulnerable to discrimination and violence due to gender inequality. It is the current phenomenon that is happening in Larantuka communities. The dominant forms of violence against women in the domestic domain occuring in Larantuka City are predominantly physical violence and household neglect. This research aims to explore the cases of violence against women and children to examine the handling efforts by government institutions. The phenomenological approach was delivered using in-depth interviews with 6 (six) Key Informant Interviews (KII) from Government Institutions who handle the cases of violence i.e. DP2KBP3A, a Social Worker, The Head of the East Flores Police Women and Children Protection Unit, 5 (five) housewives, and 8 (eight) teenagers (≤ 18 years) through Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The findings of this study are a significant increase in cases of violence. Data from the East Flores Police Women and Children Protection Unit in 2022 shows 67 cases were recorded. In recent year between January-June 2023, 61 case recorded shows dominant cases are sexual and domestic violence. The majority victims of these cases are women and underage children (minors). The causes are the abandonment of children due to parents leaving abroad for work, permissive parenting, and high respect for customs.

Abstract

The lessons for Adult Education (B and C Package) at the juvenile penitentiary are learning that is equivalent to the teaching and learning process in formal schools. B Package is equivalent to Junior High School and C Package is equivalent to Senior High School. Learning activities in class for students need to be changed so that student participation is very important in understanding and answering the reading comprehension. Exercises in reading texts and answering the questions correctly are activities that can increase student activity and participation. Students work on the questions by reading and translating difficult words in the reading so that they can be understood and help students answer questions according to the content of the reading. Students also study and discuss in groups of 5 student and discuss together to answer questions. The discussions that were carried out were successful in making students understand the material and be able to work or answer questions in English properly and correctly. Students can learn from their own friends and understand better if their friends explain so that it can increase motivation in learning. The learning activities of B and C Package's students more active. The students have the opportunity to learn from each other and with simple language, difficult English materials can be worked out well. Problem-based learning is one part of student- learning problem but it cannot increase activeness and participation and is unable to solve learning problems in class, so a change in the learning model is made, namely the small group discussion. The Small Group Discussion model was used in learning at LPKA Penfui Kupang.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menelaah Peningkatan Kemampuan Berkomunikasi Anak Melalui Metode Cerita Bergambar Pada Kelompok B di PAUD Munatuan Noelsinas. Masalah utama penelitian ini adalah bagaimana meningkatkan kemmpuan berkomunikasi anak melalui metode cerita bergambar? Tujuan penelitian ini untuk untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi anak melalui metode cerita bergambar di kelompok B PAUD Munatuan Noelsinas. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang terdiri dari 4 tahap dalam setiap siklus yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Fokus penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi anak melalui metode cerita bergambar pada kelompok B PAUD Munatuan Noelsinas. Setting penelitian ini adalah anak-anak di PAUD Munatuan Noelsinas. Objek penelitian ini adalah anak didik yang terdiri atas 19 anak. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Dari perhitungan terhadap data tersebut diperoleh nilai rata-rata prasiklus 53, 61%, siklus I 57, 89% dan SiklusII 100%, maka secara umum dapat digolongkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakann metode cerita bergambar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berkomunikasi anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran penyuluh sebagai fasilitator dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat petani padi di Desa Naas Kecamatan Malaka Barat Kabupaten Malaka. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Naas, Kecamatan Malaka Barat, Kabupaten Malaka. Informan dalam penelitian ini, menggunakan teknik purposive. Sumber data yang digunakan peneliti dalam melakukan penelitian ini meliputi sumber data primer dan sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan 3 (tiga) cara yaitu observasi, wawancara mendalam dan studi doktoral. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian tentang peran penyuluh dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat kelompok tani sebagai motivator, penyuluh memiliki peran dalam memberikan motivasi seperti yang dilakukan penyuluh lainnya. Padahal motivasi yang diberikan dari penyuluh kepada kelompok terjadi secara maksimal dalam meningkatkan produksi padi sehingga tergolong dalam kategori sedang; Namun kelompok tani sebagai penyuluh terlatih mendapatkan apa yang diharapkan dari peran penyuluh sebagai fasilitator, namun keberlanjutan yang diperoleh dalam meningkatkan produksi petani belum diperoleh secara maksimal sehingga tergolong dalam kategori sedang; terjadi secara optimal seperti yang diharapkan oleh petani sehingga tergolong dalam kategori sedang.
