Abstract

This study was to determine the effect of workload and work stress on employee performance in PT PLN (Persero) Karebosi Customer Service Unit Makassar City. the sample of this study were 58 employees. This type of research is Quantitative research. The data used are primary data and secondary data obtained using the questionnaire distribution technique. The results of the study shows that there is a positive influence between the workload variable (X1) on employee performance (Y) and there is a negative influence between the work stress variable (X2) on the employee performance variable which can be shown through the multiple linear regression equation, namely Y = 38. 355 + 0.265 - 0.294 + e and has a significant effect with the t_ (calculated) value of each variable of 3.711> t_ (table) (X1) and -2.612> t_ (table) (X2), with a significance level of 0.003 <0.05 (X1) and 0.012 <0.05 (X2). The R Square value of 0.501 this figure shows that the workload variable and the work strea variable in this study contributed an influence of 50.1%.

Abstract

The advancement of technology in education has led to the development of interactive and personalized learning tools. This research focuses on creating mobile learning application with multimedia and AI support to improve student engagement, motivation, and academic performance in higher education. This research aims to answer the question: How effective is an AI-based mobile learning app with multimedia support in enhancing student interactivity, motivation, and performance in higher education? The research follows the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Data was collected from expert validators (media and material experts) and student feedback. A quantitative descriptive analysis was done using Likert-scale instruments to measure user experience, interactivity, motivation, and learning outcomes. The application was tested on 38 students, and their feedback was used to assess its effectiveness. The results show that the AI-based mobile learning app significantly improved student interactivity, motivation, and academic performance. The post-test results showed an average score of 81.82%, indicating an improvement in learning outcomes. Students expressed high satisfaction with the app’s interactivity, multimedia content, and personalized learning paths. The AI-driven real-time feedback contributed to a more engaging learning experience. In conclusion, the AI-based mobile learning app with multimedia support effectively enhances student engagement, motivation, and academic performance. The integration of personalized learning paths and real-time feedback makes learning more interactive and adaptive. These findings highlight the need to design future mobile learning apps that prioritize accessibility and adaptability.

Abstract

Progressive Qur’anic interpretation as a contextual approach to understanding the Qur’an has been extensively developed at the theoretical level, but its implementation in Islamic higher education remains underexplored. Most institutions in Southeast Asia still adhere to traditional exegetical models that are less responsive to contemporary issues such as gender equality, environmental crises, and religious pluralism. This study aims to fill that gap by exploring the application of progressive interpretation as a pedagogical strategy in the Qur’an and Tafsir Study Program (PSIAT) at the Graduate School of UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through curriculum document analysis, semi-structured interviews, and classroom observations. Thematic analysis was conducted through open, axial, and selective coding, focusing on principles of justice, social relevance, and interdisciplinarity. The findings show that PSIAT systematically integrates progressive interpretation into its curriculum through digital, interdisciplinary, and contextual approaches. Students demonstrated positive responses by developing critical thinking and actively engaging with contemporary social issues. This study offers an empirical contribution to the development of a tafsir curriculum in Islamic higher education that is more inclusive, transformative, and relevant to modern challenges.

Abstract

The Al-Qur'an as a guide and guide to life for Muslims, is not only limited to Arabic writing written in a mushaf, but the Al-Qur'an is the word of Allah which is the answer to problems or questions that have arisen since the time of the Prophet Muhammad SAW until the end. era. Not a few Muslims today only understand the Al-Qur'an as a book that is mandatory in the Faith, without making any effort to study and understand further the contents of the Al-Qur'an. The obligation to study, understand and apply every content of the Koran will be a solution to make it easier to achieve happiness in this world and the hereafter. Therefore, Ulumul Qur'an as a scientific discipline that discusses the scientific branches of the Qur'an must be studied and understood correctly, so that there are no misinterpretations in understanding the contents of the Qur'an.

Abstract

This research examines the concept of Makkiyah and Madaniyyah in the Qur'an, which was revealed gradually to Prophet Muhammad over a period of more than 23 years. The main focus is to analyze the meaning, characteristics, differences, classification, and views of classical and contemporary scholars regarding Makkiyah and Madaniyyah. This study also discusses the urgency and benefits of understanding this knowledge in Qur'anic studies. The classification of Qur'anic verses into Makkiyah and Madaniyyah categories is the result of ijtihad by scholars from among the companions and followers of the Prophet, rather than directly from the Prophet himself. This has led to variations in interpretation in understanding the chronology of the revelation of Qur'anic verses and chapters. The methodology used is a literature study, utilizing various literary sources including reference books and relevant journal articles. The result is an engaging exploration of how understanding Makkiyah and Madaniyyah can open new doors in comprehending the context, meaning, and relevance of the Qur'an.

Abstract

Communication is the process or action of conveying a message from the sender to the recipient through a medium that usually experiences interference. In the world of education, communication has a very important role because it is a process of teaching and learning activities for educators which will build students' understanding of the material being taught. Through communication as a source of conveying information is learning material to recipients, namely students, using symbols both spoken, written and non-verbal language. On the other hand, students will convey various messages in response to the teaching staff so that two-way communication occurs in order to increase the success of communication to achieve learning goals, namely changes in behavior in students. So the goals of education will also be more meaningful if there is intensive communication between teachers and students. Because with intensive communication, teachers can find out the psychological condition of students and the level of students' emotional development. Apart from that, teachers also know accurately the level of difficulty experienced by students in the learning process.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to analyze the fulfillment of the principles of electoral district (dapil) delineation and seat allocation in the administration of the 2024 General Election (Pemilu) in Sambas Regency. Conducted through a collaboration between the General Election Commission (KPU) of Sambas Regency and the Institute for Research and Community Service (LP2M) of Sultan Muhammad Syafiuddin University Sambas, this activity took the form of a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) involving academics, election organizers (KPU and Bawaslu), the Sambas Office of National Unity and Politics (Kesbangpol), and university students. The study was based on seven fundamental principles of electoral district delineation, namely equality of vote value, proportionality, adherence to the proportional electoral system, territorial integrity, coterminous, cohesiveness, and continuity. The results indicate that the seven-district model is more ideal than the five-district model, as it better fulfills the principles of territorial integrity, cohesiveness, and proportional seat allocation, although the five-district model performs better in terms of vote value equality and continuity. Therefore, the delineation of seven electoral districts in Sambas Regency is considered to reflect a more just, democratic, and contextually relevant balance of political representation according to the region’s socio-geographical characteristics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi kurang tertanamnya pengetahuan serta pembiasaan karakter religious pada siswa sehingga guru Pendidikan agama Islam melakukan pemberian internalisasi karakter religious kepada siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi yang jelas tentang:1) Karakter religius siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Jawai. 2) Pelaksanaan internalisasi pendidikan agama Islam dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Jawai. 3) Penerapan internalisasi pendidikan agama Islam dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Jawai. Subyek dalam penelitian yaitu guru pendidikan agama Islam, kepala sekolah dan siswa SMK Negeri 1 Jawai. Untuk mendapatkan data yang berhubungan dengan fokus penelitian, peneliti mengadakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik pemeriksaan keabsahan data yang digunakan yaitu: 1) Teknik Triangulasi, 2) Teknik Member Check. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: 1) Karakter religius siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Jawai yang ditanamkan kepada siwa yaitu: komunikatif, kebersamaan, disiplin, tolong-menolong, intelek, pertemanan, kebersamaan, pertemanan, terampil, empati, sopan. 2) Pelaksanaan internalisasi pendidikan agama Islam dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Jawai dilakukkan dengan cara: Membiasakan shalat berjamaah serta membiasakan akhlak yang baik di lingkungan sekolah dan di rumah, Mampu mengintegrasikan antara pendekatan, metode dan teknik belajar mengajar, Guru pendidikan agama Islam melaporkan hasil belajar kepada orangtua, Guru pendidikan agama Islam memberikan teladan yang baik terhadap siswa, Guru pendidikan agama Islam menjalankan program kepala sekolah. Guru pendidikan agama Islam saling memberikan pengawasan terhadap siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar. 3) Penerapan internalisasi pendidikan agama Islam dalam membentuk karakter religius siswa dilaksanakam secara: Melaksanakan pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam harus didasarkan pada pengetahuan siswa yang belajar dan lebih sering dikaitkan pada suatu materi mata pelajaran lain, Pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam ini juga harus menjadi sesuatu yang direncanakan dari pada hanya sekedar asal jadi, Pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam ini akan lebih membantu siswa dalam memaksimalkan kemampuan yang dimiliki siswa, menikmati kehidupan, serta kemampuan untuk berinteraksi secara fisik dan sosial terhadap lingkungan.
