Abstract

Patients at ITS Medical Center are the main subject of the healthcare business process. they tend to expect satisfactory service especially when ITS Medical Center serves as a first-rate health facility for BPJS. At the time of this research pre-conducted, their business process has not been visually described in the Business Activity Monitoring (BAM), which makes management cannot foresee the efficient business process. Previous research on the implementation of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) in the Emergency Department shows the possibility to apply VSM in a clinic. Therefore, we decided to evaluate the existing business processes by gathering information from the Event Log Review and conducting employee interviews. To propose future business processes, we followed the Lean Manufacturing practice from Toyota always looks at product value from the customer's point of view. The evaluation consists of Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) between four actors; doctor, patients, medical records department, and pharmacy. Continued picturing it using VSM using criteria of ineffectiveness from Lean Manufacturing. ITS Medical Center's current VSM shows three areas of opportunities for improvement consisting of Movement, Transportation, and Extra Process. Whereas its future VSM finding results from the comparison of the current with the future business process, predicted that service time can be faster by a ratio of 8%, non-value-added time is reduced by 15%, and at the end of the day, average inefficiency is reduced by 27.54%. With more than quarterly efficiency can be decision support for new business model improvement and implementation.

Abstract

The world today has a rapidly growing human population whose daily needs are certainly increasing. Supermarket is a place to fulfill daily needs. When going to the supermarket, we have to spend a lot of time both shopping and also queuing at the cashier. This turns out to be a problem for customers because it can take up customers' time which is also experienced by one of the largest supermarkets, namely Hypermart. Not only a problem for customers, but it can also create a threat to Hypermart companies. However, with advances in technology and information systems, the world is growing to adapt to current conditions, namely by improvising. The improvisation carried out in this research is the payment transaction business process at Hypermart, namely by implementing the Self-CheckOut system by replacing the old trolley with a "Hyper Smart Cart" as an improvisation which will certainly answer all existing problems.

Abstract

Analog Switch Off (ASO) or migration program from analog television to digital television is a program issued by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics in Indonesia. Some people provide different responses and opinions on YouTube comments about ASO. There are those who give positive or neutral comments. However, there were also those who gave negative comments. Sentiment analysis is a process that is carried out automatically in studying, retrieving, and processing textual data to obtain information and see responses or opinions about an issue or object towards positive, neutral or negative opinions. Thus sentiment analysis can be used as a reference in making organizational decisions, improving a service, or as a review of a product. Sentiment analysis was performed using word embedding with Word2Vec, and sentiment classification using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method. The results of the evaluation test are 92% accuracy, 92% precision, 92% recall, and 92% f1-score.

Abstract

In higher education programming courses, students often perform individual practical activities using their own devices, resulting in varying conditions and difficulty in ensuring proper application of the taught concepts. Limited access to equipment further hampers student progress. To address these challenges, implementing the Scrum framework in programming courses is proposed. Scrum offers problem-solving approaches emphasizing collaboration, self-organization, and cross-functional teams for effective teamwork and optimal solutions. However, existing project management tools like Trello and Notion, although free, have limitations when applied to Scrum. Trello lacks multi-sprint support, while Notion's complex customization features complicate usability. To overcome these limitations, this research aims to develop an application specifically tailored to Scrum practices. The objective is to design and create a comprehensive application that serves as both a learning platform and a project management tool. By leveraging this application, students will be able to enhance their learning experience and perform better project management, ensuring effective collaboration and communication among team members. The proposed application will address the limitations of existing tools and provide a seamless Scrum implementation within the programming course. Ultimately, the research seeks to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of programming education by empowering students with a robust and user-friendly platform that aligns with the Scrum framework.

Abstract

Abstract

Puskesmas is a public facility that provides health services to the community, including in remote areas. In the era of health technology, Electronic Medical Records (RME) have facilitated community access to health services, as is the case at the Modopuro Health Center. RME allows the identification of common diseases, including diabetes mellitus, which has two types. However, there is no cluster visualization of RME data from January to April 2023 that can reveal the distribution pattern of this disease. In this study, diabetes mellitus clusters were visualized using python and folium library. Patient coordinates were used in the visualization, with Modopuro Health Center as the starting point of the map. The visualization results are displayed on a map with cluster selection features. The more diverse the colors and markers in an area, the more people who suffer from the disease. The highest cluster 0 population is located in Kebondalem Village, the highest cluster 1 population is located in Pekukuhan Village, the highest cluster 2 population is located in Modopuro Village, the highest cluster 3 population is located in Ngimbangan Village, and the highest cluster 4 population is located in Modopuro Village.

Abstract

Universities strive to enhance public services to continually elevate user satisfaction. One critical aspect of public service is the accessibility and transparency of information, particularly in ensuring that students can easily access relevant information, contributing to heightened satisfaction with the university. However, while fostering openness and accessibility, adequate resources are essential to manage the surge in information requests from students. Chatbots emerge as a viable solution for disseminating information on academic activities, providing easy accessibility unhindered by temporal or spatial constraints at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur. In the initial phase of chatbot design, delineating the flow of user queries and corresponding bot responses is imperative. Questions, organized in a flow-based manner, are derived from a dataset of student queries related to academic policies. Extracting prevalent topics from both the question dataset and academic policy regulations at UPN "Veteran" Jawa Timur resulted in four overarching question topics: Implementation of Education, Learning Beyond the Study Program, Assessment and Evaluation of Learning Outcomes, and Academic Violations. The Conversational Flow Diagram is crafted based on these topics, serving as the foundational pattern for the chatbot. The test results affirm the chatbot's success in accurately presenting all designated flows, thereby furnishing users with pertinent information.

Abstract

The implementation of digitalization in organizations is needed to apply technology and provide more value to customers. However, digitization still needs to be fully maximized in manually recording book stocks to record book stocks. Printed books are recorded as incoming books, sold books are sold as outgoing books and incoming and outgoing data are matched. Publishers still use Google Sheets as the primary tool for recording available book stock. However, human error, such as writing or data entry, often leads to inaccurate book stock information. Therefore, Peneleh Publishing needed an application prototype design using usability testing to identify usability issues in UI/UX development. During usability testing, the Maze tool collects user interaction data. This study used heuristic evaluation to find and solve usability problems in book sales and stock recording applications. According to the research results, the SUS score 85.2 falls into the Very Good and Acceptable category. In addition, as shown by the Tool Maze analysis, users can manage scenarios well. Experts used heuristic evaluation to suggest display improvements, pop-up notifications when books are added or subtracted, and information about successful or unsuccessful actions.
