Abstract

Studi yang dilaksanakan bertujuan untuk mengungkap pengaruh disiplin guru terhadap motivasi belajar murid di Sekolah Dasar Patra Dharma 1 Balikpapan. Melihat pentingnya peran guru dalam pengajaran, riset ini bertujuan untuk menilai bagaimana disiplin guru berdampak pada motivasi belajar siswa. Adapun penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif asosiatif, dengan teknik analisis regresi linier sebagai metode utamanya. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang diisi oleh sekelompok 32 siswa, memanfaatkan skala Likert sebagai alat ukurnya. Berdasarkan hasil tes normalitas, terlihat bahwa data terdistribusi secara normal. Uji reliabilitas, di sisi lain, memberikan nilai Cronbach's Alpha di atas 0,60 yang menandakan bahwa alat ukur penelitian ini konsisten. Dari analisis regresi linier yang dilakukan, tercatat bahwa disiplin guru berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa, dengan nilai R Square sebesar 0,279. Ini berarti sekitar 27,9% variasi dalam motivasi belajar siswa dapat diatribusikan kepada tingkat disiplin guru. Uji F memperlihatkan nilai signifikansi yang kurang dari 0,05, yaitu 0,002, menyatakan bahwa ada korelasi signifikan antara disiplin guru dan motivasi belajar siswa. Kesimpulan yang ditarik menegaskan bahwa meningkatkan disiplin guru bisa menaikkan motivasi belajar siswa secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, sangat direkomendasikan bagi sekolah untuk menitikberatkan pada aspek disiplin guru sebagai salah satu cara untuk mengoptimalkan kemajuan belajar siswa.

Abstract

Using a smartphone before bed can make a person's sleep time late and not according to the time. When someone plays with a smartphone at night, the brain will think that this is not sleep time because of the blue light emitted by the smartphone. If the brain thinks that it is not hours of sleep, the duration of smartphone users' sleep will decrease and this will affect the quality of their sleep. Poor sleep quality in teenagers will affect all activities and in daily life. This research aims to determine the relationship between the intensity of smartphone use and sleep quality in teenagers. This research uses a correlational research design with a quantitative research model using a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was class students with a sample of 112 people taken using simple random sampling techniques. The instrument used in this study used a likert scale questionnaire. Statistical test between smartphone usage intensity and sleep quality measured using Spearman Rank (rho) with α = 0.05.  This research shows there is a relationship between the intensity of smartphone use and sleep quality. The direction of a positive relationship with strength is sufficient, meaning that the greater the intensity of using a smartphone, the less good it will have an impact on poor sleep quality. Using a smartphone at night will cause the brain to receive external stimuli in the form of sound, light and vibrations from the smartphone, this causes a person to wake up at night and if it lasts a long time it will disrupt the quality of students' sleep. Discussion: Therefore, it is necessary to monitor smartphone use in students so that sleep quality is better.

Abstract

Islamic economics has grown rapidly worldwide as an alternative to conventional economic systems. However, it also faces challenges when dealing with existing economic frameworks such as mercantilism. Mercantilist theory asserts that government intervention and international trade increase a nation's wealth. This study uses a qualitative approach and a literature review method to analyze Islamic economic perspectives on mercantilism. The research aims to explore relevant Islamic economic principles and evaluate how mercantilism influences the modern economy. The data used in this study consists of secondary sources collected from articles, books, journals, and other literature discussing mercantilist theory and Islamic economic views on mercantilism. Data were gathered through library research and documentation. The findings indicate that Islamic economics opposes mercantilist methods, which prioritize monetary gain without considering justice and morality. Islamic economics emphasizes that in economic activities, fairness, honesty, and societal welfare are essential. The study also found that mercantilism can lead to economic inequality and social instability. As a result, Islamic economics offers more just and balanced alternatives, such as zakat, charity (sadaqah), and endowments (waqf). The study further analyzes Islamic economic criticisms of mercantilism, which include its focus on national wealth accumulation, excessive government intervention, and economic disparities. Islamic economics stresses the importance of balancing national and individual interests and ensuring equitable wealth distribution. It is hoped that this research will contribute to the advancement of Islamic economics and increase awareness of the importance of morality and justice in economic activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of coastal cultural tradition-based learning media in the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) on students' learning interest at MTsN 3 Tuban. The background of this research is the lack of integration of coastal local wisdom in learning while the characteristics of madrasah students require a contextual approach that connects material with the surrounding environment. The study uses a quantitative approach with a pretest -experimental design involving 36 eighth-grade students as samples. The research instrument is a learning interest questionnaire with a Likert scale covering aspects of attention, interest, involvement, and continuous desire. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and normalized gain test. The results showed a significant increase in students' learning interest with an average score increasing from 68.75 in the pre-test to 82.94 in the post-test with an N-Gain value of 0.45 in the medium category. These findings identify that coastal cultural tradition-based learning media have a positive impact on increasing students' learning interest through contextual and meaningful learning.

Abstract

PkM ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan soft skill santri melalui pelatihan Al-Banjari. Selain itu, PkM ini juga berupaya mendorong regenerasi seni Al-Banjari di TPQ Sabilul Khoirot dengan memberikan pelatihan kepada santri agar mereka dapat menjadi penerus yang kompeten. PkM ini menggunakan pendekatan Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), yang berfokus pada pengembangan aset atau potensi yang telah dimiliki oleh masyarakat. Metode ABCD bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengoptimalkan aset-aset yang ada agar dapat dikembangkan bersama oleh masyarakat. Setiap daerah atau komunitas pasti memiliki aset, yang tidak selalu berupa materi atau kekayaan fisik desa. Hasil dari PkM ini  menghasilkan Kesenian Religi Al banjari TPQ Sabilul Khoirot Sidoarjo yang meliputi Setiap hari Senin diadakan kegiatan diba’, sedangkan pada hari Kamis terdapat pembacaan manaqib. Kedua kegiatan tersebut dilaksanakan setelah sholat Maghrib. Sementara itu, setiap hari Selasa dan Kamis setelah sholat Ashar, diadakan pelatihan Al-Banjari yang mana kami juga turut serta dalam pelatihan Al-Banjari yang diselenggarakan di TPQ tersebut. dan juga Peran Al-Banjari dalam Pengembangan Soft Skill santri TPQ Sabilul Khoirot Sidoarjo yang meliputi  kerja sama tim, Kepemimpinan, Kepercayaan diri, komunikasi efektif Kreatifitas dan inovasi, serta keterampilan Musikal. Kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan perkembangan Al-Banjari di TPQ di TPQ Sabilul Khoirot Sidoarjoi

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of the habit of Qur’anic recitation (tadarus Al-Qur’an) on students’ discipline at SD Patra Dharma 1 Balikpapan. The research employed a quantitative approach using a correlational design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 89 sixth-grade students and analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 25. The results indicate a positive and significant relationship between the habit of tadarus Al-Qur’an and students’ discipline, as shown by a correlation coefficient (R) of 0.439, which reflects a moderate relationship. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.192 reveals that the habit of Qur’anic recitation contributes 19.2% to students’ discipline, while the remaining 80.8% is influenced by other factors outside the study. The regression model was statistically significant based on the ANOVA test, and the regression coefficient confirms that increased intensity of tadarus is associated with higher levels of discipline. These findings demonstrate that tadarus Al-Qur’an functions as an important supporting factor in character education, particularly in fostering discipline among elementary school students, although it is not the sole determinant.
