Abstract

This research bases on the benefit of the song as a medium of learning for children, for early childhood because they will know many words if the song is always listened to be sung so it can enrich the vocabulary of early childhood. The purpose of this research is to test the utilization of Melayu Kalimantan Barat Song to increase early childhood vocabulary to maintain local wisdom. The research approach is qualitative in classroom action research, includes four stages: Planning, Action, Observing, and Reflecting. This classroom action research consisted of six cycles. The subjects of the research are six children in B class of PAUD Aisyiyah 2 Pontianak Utara. The result shows the percentage before action 16,67%, then in cycle I, raised to 19,44%, cycle II raised to 21,52%, cycle III raised to 24,99%, cycle IV raised to 31,24%, cycle V raised to 41,66%, cycle VI raised to 47,91%. Generally, it is stated 33,33% children in Very Well Developed, 16,67% children in Develop as Expected, and 50% children Undeveloped, because there is one child in a language barrier, two children absent with reasons. Therefore, I state that Traditional Song Melayu Kalimantan Barat “Kapuas River” improves the vocabulary of early childhood. Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh manfaat lagu sebagai salah satu media pembelajaran bagi anak-anak, khususnya bagi anak usia dini karena anak-anak usia dini akan mengenal berbagai kata dari lagu yang dinyanyikan, apalagi jika lagu tersebut selalu diperdengarkan dan selalu dinyanyikan oleh mereka sehingga dapat memperkaya kosakata (vocabulary) pada anak-anak usia dini. Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah menguji pemanfaatan lagu tradisional melayu Kalimantan Barat untuk meningkatkan vocabulary anak usia dini dalam menjaga kearifan lokal. Pendekatan penelitian adalah kualitiatif yang berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, yang mana meliputi empat tahap: Perencanaan, Pelaksanaan, Pengamatan, dan Refleksi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini terdiri atas 6 (enam) siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah 6 (enam) orang anak di kelas B Paud Aisyiyah 2 Kecamatan Pontianak Utara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan persentase sebelum tindakan 16,67%, selanjutnya siklus I menjadi 19,44%, siklus II menjadi 21,52%, siklus III 24,99, siklus IV 31,24%, siklus V 41,66%, dan siklus VI 47,91%. Jadi, secara keseluruhan, dinyatakan 33,33% anak Berkembang Sangat Baik, 16,67% anak Berkembang Sesuai Harapan, dan 50% anak Belum Berkembang, yang mana satu anak terhambat bahasa (16,67%), dua orang tidak dapat mengikuti pembelajaran karena suatu alasan. Oleh karena itu, peneliti menyatakan bahwa Lagu Tradisional Melayu Kalimantan Barat, yaitu “Sungai Kapuas” dapat meningkatkan Vocabulary Anak Usia Dini.

Abstract

Anemia pada kehamilan adalah kondisi atau kondisi yang ditandai dengan penurunan kadar hemoglobin (Hb) dalam darah. Menurut WHO prevalensi anemia pada kalangan wanita hamil di seluruh dunia adalah 41,8%, sedangkan kasus anemia pada ibu hamil di RSUD Kab. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang terkait dengan terjadinya anemia pada wanita hamil di RSUD Drs. Jacobus Luna M.Si Kab. Studi ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Sebuah sampel dari 211 orang diambil menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisis tes Chi Square menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan yang signifikan antara usia ibu hamil, pendidikan, pekerjaan dan paritas pada wanita hamil dengan kejadian anemia. Masing-masing memperoleh hasil nilai p yang sama dari 0,000, di bawah nilai p dari 0.05 dengan Prevalensi Ratio dan Interval Kepercayaan (CI) tingkat kepercayaan 95% yaitu usia ibu PR = 4,598, Pendidikan PR = 4,033, Pekerjaan PR = 3,188, dan Paritas PR = 3,548 di RSUD Drs. Jakobus Luna M.Si distrik Bengkayang. Rekomendasi ke RSUD Drs. Jakobus Luna M.Si distrik Bengkayang untuk mengembangkan kegiatan PKRS (Promosi Kesehatan Rumah Sakit) dengan membuka tempat pendidikan dan informasi tentang anemia dan kelas ibu, mempromosikan kerjasama dengan Layanan Kesehatan untuk pencegahan tingkat dasar.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman Tauhid bagi warga diaspora yang ada di Kansai, Jepang. Kegiatan ini disajikan melalui sesi ceramah dan forum diskusi yang dirancang untuk   menjawab tantangan dakwah di wilayah PRIM di Kansai, Jepang. Kansai, dengan populasi sekitar 22,5 juta jiwa, merupakan wilayah terbesar kedua di Jepang, setelah wilayah Kanto. Kota Osaka, pusat industri terkemuka, merupakan kota utama di Kansai dan merupakan kota terbesar kedua di Jepang setelah Tokyo. Majelis Tabligh,Pimpinan Ranting Istimea Muhammadiyah Kansai (PRIM)  meskipun memiliki anggota yang terbatas dari komunitas Muslim di wilayah tersebut, memainkan peran penting dalam mendukung dunia dakwah disana. Strategi inklusif yang berakar pada kearifan lokal ini telah berhasil menarik minat warga Muslim lokal dan diaspora untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan PRIM Kansai, seperti acara barbekyu dan pengajian terbuka. Komunitas PRIM Kansai sangat beragam, terdiri dari pekerja magang, perawat, siswa sekolah, individu, dan keluarga, termasuk penduduk tetap yang memiliki pasangan warga negara Jepang. Selain itu, ada juga mualaf yang berasal dari Jepang. Atmosper Islam di Jepang sangat dipengaruhi oleh kehadiran komunitas Pakistan dan Bangladesh. Program layanan Masyarakat melalui ceramah telah  meningkatkan kemampuan kader di PRIM Kansai. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan memberikan materi ketauhidan melalui sesi offline dan melaksanakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pengetahuan diaspora.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the understanding of female students regarding nutrition and reproductive health. In addition, this health service activity owned by Nasyiatul Aisyiyah (PASHMINA) is a cadre program for the Regional Leadership of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah. In this activity, pengabdi conducted weight and height measurements as well as Body Mass Index (BMI) measurements. In this case there are 18 students classified as thin, 14 students classified as normal who are classified as obese less, namely 6 students. Before the material was given, the students filled out the pretest and after the presentation of the material by the resource person, the students completed the posttest. Pretest and posttest are carried out in order to determine the level of understanding of students related to the material that has been given. From the test results, it can be concluded that there is an increase in the understanding of female students by 38.98% after the material is given. This shows that the increase in understanding of female students related to stunting and reproductive health has increased. After this program is implemented, a Follow-up Plan (RTL) will be carried out between pengabdi and the Regional Leadership of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah Pontianak City in an effort to recruit early cadres in Nasyiah.

Abstract

Assisted technology has become one of the primary needs for inclusive education, especially for language learning. Language learning mediated by technology can provide affordances to EFL learners with low English language skills. Therefore, an assisted technology with content-language integrated learning was developed with the ADDIE approach to producing meaningful and motivational language learning with a dual focus, namely content and language. The materials presented in the assisted technology were developed stick to the Line-of-Sight by the Branch model (2009), which covers needs, goals, strategies, and assessment. The technology and material development result were named assisted technology-enhanced language learning (ATELL) and created with a marker-based augmented reality application. The AR application is an assisted technology for reading comprehension skills that guide the students in critical thinking for critical reading activities. The findings of the study show that students who read with the AR application performed better than those who read with the traditional method. The students also reported that they have a positive perception of the integration of the AR application for language learning for several attributes such as technology interactivity, compatibility, learning ambience, and cognitive condition.

Abstract

This study is prompted by the inadequate reading interest and comprehension of grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru regarding descriptive texts in English. The primary issues found encompass insufficient student engagement in reading, challenges in comprehending language and text content, and a restricted application of appropriate instructional tactics by the educator. The objective of this research is to evaluate the efficacy of the SQ4R method (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review, Reflect) in enhancing students' reading comprehension of descriptive texts. The study utilizes a quantitative methodology featuring a pre-test and post-test framework. The population comprises all Grade X students at SMA Negeri 1 Batang Toru for the 2024/2025 academic year, with the total number are 251 students. The researcher employed purposive sampling to pick grade X6 as the sample, which initially comprised 35 students; however, only 19 participated in the study. The primary data comprises reading comprehension test scores obtained prior to and subsequent to the application of the SQ4R approach. The data collection equipment comprised a reading test and questionnaires. The data analysis methods employed included descriptive statistical analysis and t-tests to assess the significance of differences between pre-test and post-test outcomes. The students' reading proficiency was commendable, and the study indicated an enhancement in the average reading comprehension score from 72.37 in the pre-test to 87.63 in the post-test following the implementation of the SQ4R approach, resulting in an elevation of students' reading ability to an excellent level. In conclusion, the SQ4R method demonstrated efficacy in improving students' reading comprehension of descriptive texts and is advocated as an alternate instructional strategy for reading in senior high schools.
