Abstract

The number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Poso Regency tends to be low. Until this article was written, there were only 19 cases without a death case, of which 18 people have been declared cured and 1 person is still being treated. This condition causes people to be less disciplined in implementing 3M (using masks, maintaining distance, and washing hands). Regarding the use of masks, some argue that they do not have masks and some are not afraid of being infected. Therefore, this activity seeks to campaign for the Don't Slack! Discipline of Wearing Masks for the community goes through the stages of socialization and campaigning for the benefits of using masks, the right types of masks and how to use them, as well as the distribution of masks. This activity was held at 3 central places in Poso City, namely the Central Market, Kasiguncu Market, and the Welcome Kawua Statue. Campaign activities for the “Don't Slack! Discipline of Wearing a Mask” has succeeded in educating hundreds of citizens and distributing 1000 masks. It is hoped that with this campaign, people in Poso Regency will be more orderly in complying with health protocols for the prevention of Covid-19.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior is a behavior when someone applies hygiene behavior in their daily life by paying attention to their level of health. The purpose of this activity is to increase mother's knowledge about clean and healthy living behavior. This activity was carried out in Kasiguncu Village. The target of this activity was mothers who come to the posyandu. The parties involved in this activity are the coordinating midwife and community health program holder at the Mapane Health Center, as well as the Kasiguncu Village midwife. The method in this activity was doing a pretest, followed by counseling using leaflets, and finally filling out the posttest. The results of this activity obtained an increase in mother's knowledge. The average knowledge before counseling was 62.22 and the average after counseling increased to 85.56. We suggest to health workers/services and health cadres to provide more counseling or health education at each posyandu so that it has an impact on increasing clean and healthy living behavior in their environment to prevent various diseases.

The service method was carried out in several stages (1) pre-test before mentoring; (2) presentation of material on anthropometric measurements and filling out KMS charts; (3) exercise and practice of anthropometric measurements and chart filling; and (4) post-test after mentoring. This activity resulted in an increase in the average score of knowledge, attitudes and actions of cadres after being given assistance to cadres.

Abstract

Developmental delays in under-five children are a global concern, with a prevalence of approximately 10% worldwide. In Central Sulawesi, the coverage of Early Stimulation, Detection, and Intervention for Growth and Development (SDIDTK) in toddlers remains low at 44.6%. Therefore, this community service activity aimed to enhance the knowledge and skills of posyandu cadres and mothers in Pinedapa Village in monitoring under-five children's development. The methods employed were education and simulation on monitoring child development. The results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge; 80% of participants previously had poor knowledge, which increased to 100% having good knowledge post-education. Similarly, there was an improvement in participants' skills in monitoring under-five children's development after the simulation. This demonstrates the effectiveness of education and simulation in strengthening the capacity of partners, particularly concerning the monitoring of under-five children's development.
