Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the causes of learning difficulties for elementary school students in learning mathematics, and to find out what materials students think are difficult to understand in learning mathematics. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. The aim of the research is the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to evaluate, review and recognize relevant research so as to be able to answer questions on the specified research. The results of the study show that the factors causing learning difficulties for elementary school students in learning mathematics are, that internal factors include (1) Interest, students who are less interested in participating in mathematics learning, plus students in the class who are less focused and serious in participating in the teaching and learning process as seen by students always leads to the outside of the class when the teacher explains the material, (2) Factors of students' learning habits, less precise learning of students who only study when there is a test (3) Health factors of students, can affect the level of concentration of students in learning mathematics, if the student body is lacking healthy then it can affect student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan tahapan yang diterapkan mufasir dalam metode tafsir tematik, menilai kelebihan dan kelemahannya, serta mengkaji kontribusinya terhadap isu-isu modern. Artikel ini menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan dengan teknik dokumentasi, yaitu menelusuri sumber-sumber relevan tentang metodologi tafsir tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tafsir tematik adalah pendekatan sistematis dalam memahami Al-Qur'an melalui pengelompokan ayat-ayat berdasarkan tema. Langkah-langkahnya mencakup penentuan tema, pengumpulan ayat terkait, analisis konteks (asbabun nuzul), dan perumusan pandangan Al-Qur'an tentang tema tersebut. Kelebihan metode ini antara lain memberikan pemahaman yang lebih mendalam, berfokus pada isu tertentu, sangat relevan dalam menjawab permasalahan kontemporer, serta menerapkan pendekatan terpadu dalam memahami ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an. Namun, metode ini juga memiliki kelemahan, seperti keterbatasan pada tema tertentu dan potensi bias dari mufasir. Dalam menghadapi isu-isu masa kini seperti hak asasi manusia dan keadilan sosial, tafsir tematik menawarkan solusi yang relevan dan aplikatif, sehingga menjadi sarana penting bagi umat Islam dalam menghadapi tantangan zaman.

Abstract

This research aims to improve public health and economic education in Ciantra Village through stunting counseling programs, health checks, and MSME development. The methods used include counseling at Posyandu to increase awareness about stunting and the importance of routine health checks, as well as MSME bazaars accompanied by marketing training to strengthen the local economy. The results of the study showed an increase in public understanding of stunting prevention and early detection of health problems, as well as an increase in sales of MSME products after rebranding. This program is not only successful in overcoming existing health and economic problems, but also strengthens the status of Ciantra Village as an independent village. The implementation of this program can be a model for other villages in an effort to achieve community independence and welfare.

Abstract

This study examines the Islamic public relations strategy implemented by the Student Press Organization (Student Press Institute or LPM) Dinamika in disseminating Islamic information to the academic community of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UINSU). The research observation was conducted at the LPM Dinamika headquarters using in-depth interview techniques. The rapid development of information technology and the rise of social media penetration demand that student organizations engaged in dakwah adapt effective communication methods to shape Islamic understanding among students. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design, focusing on LPM Dinamika’s digital public relations activities through the Instagram platform. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews with organization members, participatory observation of digital activities, and content analysis of published materials. The findings indicate that LPM Dinamika has successfully adopted Islamic public relations values in its digital communication practices by producing content that is informative, educational, and persuasive. This strategy reflects the application of core Islamic public relations principles such as truthfulness (ṣidq), trustworthiness (amānah), conveyance (tablīgh), and wisdom (faṭānah), as manifested in various content formats including Islamic articles, dakwah infographics, motivational quotes, and religious-themed storytelling videos. These public relations activities go beyond information delivery, fostering active student participation in dialogue, learning, and digital dakwah. The high level of audience engagement on LPM Dinamika's digital platforms highlights the effectiveness of its public relations strategy, particularly in building credibility and strengthening its reputation as a trusted campus press institution. This research contributes to the development of an Islamic public relations model in the digital era, especially in the context of student organizations at Islamic higher education institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the public relations strategies in building the image of the State Islamic University of North Sumatra (UIN-SU) as a campus based on applied Islamic sciences, as well as to identify its challenges and obstacles. This research employs a qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, and verification, while data validity was tested using triangulation. The findings reveal that UIN-SU’s public relations strategies include: optimizing website management; promoting campus events; implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities through direct community involvement; collaborating with local mass media; strengthening corporate identity; publishing content via social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and newspapers; persuasive communication with prospective students; and branding efforts targeted at Islamic Senior High Schools, general Senior High Schools, and Vocational High Schools. The internal obstacles involve limited public relations personnel, while external challenges include low student awareness in disseminating campus information and the need to tailor content for Generation Z. This study contributes by offering strategic guidance for Islamic higher education institutions in effectively developing their institutional image through the strengthening of strategic communication and collaboration, particularly in the digital era.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has transformed patterns of interaction and ways of obtaining information, requiring government institutions to undergo digital transformation. This study aims to describe the communication strategy of the Public Relations Division of the Regional Office of the Ministry of Religious Affairs of North Sumatra Province in disseminating public information through online media. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation and documentation of digital platforms managed by the office, such as the official website, Instagram, and Facebook. The findings reveal proactive, reactive, and collaborative communication strategies implemented across various digital platforms, including the development of the Pusaka application as a center for religious services. The use of online media has enhanced transparency, public participation, and institutional image. However, challenges such as low digital literacy among the public and the spread of hoaxes remain significant obstacles. Therefore, the Public Relations Division has developed educational content, strengthened collaboration with media outlets, and implemented digital literacy programs. These findings underscore the importance of professionalism and adaptability of government public relations in the digital communication era.

Abstract

Formalin is a food additive that has been banned by BPOM but can still be found in food products. This study aims to determine: 1) the food safety of pindang fish sold in traditional markets in West Surabaya in terms of formalin content and bacterial contamination; 2) the relationship between the hygienic conditions of traders and formalin content on the level of bacterial contamination; and 3) the bacterial growth patterns during room temperature storage of formalin-positive and formalin-negative tuna pindang fish. This is a cross-sectional study with a sampling technique of saturation. A qualitative formalin test was conducted using a formalin test instrument. The results indicated that 88.23% (15 of 17 samples) of cob pindang contained formalin and that 64.7% (11 of 17 samples) exceeded the SNI 2717: 2017 maximum limit for total microorganisms. There was a significant correlation between the level of bacterial contamination and the hygienic conditions of traders. There is no correlation between formalin concentration and bacterial contamination level. The pattern of bacterial proliferation did not differ between formalin-positive and negative cob pindang fish

Abstract

The clean water crisis in Sunter Jaya, North Jakarta, is triggered by the declining quality of groundwater due to seawater intrusion and domestic waste contamination. This condition affects both drinking water sources and ablution water at Al-Mukhlish Mosque, which share the same source of contaminated groundwater. This community service program implements a hybrid zeolite and reverse osmosis (RO) filtration system within an FRP housing to treat the contaminated groundwater into ready-to-drink water, while also reusing ablution wastewater originating from the same source. The study aims to evaluate the system's effectiveness in reducing salinity, TDS, heavy metals, and microbiological contaminants. Implementation results show the system successfully reduced TDS from 1500 mg/L to 45 mg/L (97% efficiency), salinity from 1.2% to 0.05%, and eliminated 99% of pathogenic bacteria. This system not only provides drinking water that meets the standards of Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 492/2010 for 500 households but also optimizes water utilization through ablution water recycling. This model proves effective as a sustainable solution for the clean water crisis in urban coastal areas with limited water infrastructure. Abstrak Krisis air bersih di Sunter Jaya, Jakarta Utara, dipicu oleh menurunnya kualitas air tanah akibat intrusi air laut dan kontaminasi limbah domestik. Kondisi ini memengaruhi baik sumber air minum maupun air wudhu di Masjid Al-Mukhlish yang sama-sama bersumber dari air tanah tercemar. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini menerapkan sistem filtrasi hybrid zeolit dan reverse osmosis (RO) dalam housing FRP untuk mengolah air tanah yang telah terkontaminasi menjadi air siap minum, sekaligus memanfaatkan kembali air limbah wudhu yang berasal dari sumber yang sama. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengevaluasi efektivitas sistem dalam menurunkan salinitas, TDS, logam berat, dan kontaminan mikrobiologis. Hasil implementasi menunjukkan sistem berhasil menurunkan TDS dari 1500 mg/L menjadi 45 mg/L (efisiensi 97%), salinitas dari 1.2% menjadi 0.05%, serta menghilangkan 99% bakteri patogen. Sistem ini tidak hanya menyediakan air minum yang memenuhi standar Permenkes No. 492/2010 bagi 500 kepala keluarga, tetapi juga mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan air melalui daur ulang air wudhu. Model ini terbukti efektif sebagai solusi berkelanjutan untuk krisis air bersih di kawasan pesisur urban dengan keterbatasan infrastruktur air.

Abstract

This study identifies whether there are differences in the Average Abnormal Return and Average Trading Volume Activity before and after the 2024 presidential and legislative elections in Indonesia. The study includes samples of infrastructure companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during February 2024 and analyzes the data utilizing the Wilcoxon signed-rank test. Based on signalling theory, general elections can inform investors and affect investment decisions. However, the results of the study exhibit no significant difference yet align more with the semi-strong form of the efficient market hypothesis, where stock prices reflect all publicly available information, including expectations of government policies that impact the market. This finding also reflects the precautionary motive of investors, where market participants anticipate political uncertainty by adjusting their investment strategies before the 2024 election. This indicates that political factors affect market sentiment but do not necessarily lead to significant volatility.

Abstract

Background: The increasing complexity of modern healthcare systems necessitates effective collaboration among healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. In this context, Interprofessional Education (IPE) has emerged as a strategic educational approach aimed at preparing healthcare students with the collaborative competencies required for interprofessional practice. Although numerous studies have reported the benefits of IPE implementation, a comprehensive review is needed to synthesize current evidence regarding its effectiveness in developing collaborative competencies among healthcare students. Objective: This literature review aimed to analyze and synthesize recent evidence on the effectiveness of Interprofessional Education in enhancing collaborative competencies among healthcare students. Methods: This study employed a descriptive literature review approach. Articles were retrieved from Google Scholar, PubMed, ScienceDirect, BMC, and JPKI databases using keywords related to Interprofessional Education, Interprofessional Collaboration, collaborative competence, interprofessional communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care. Article selection followed the PRISMA guidelines. Inclusion criteria included full-text articles published between 2021 and 2025 that examined the implementation of IPE or IPC among healthcare students or healthcare professionals. Of the 100 articles initially identified, 10 studies met the eligibility criteria and were included in the final analysis. Results: The findings demonstrated that the implementation of IPE significantly contributed to improving students’ readiness for interprofessional collaboration, interprofessional communication skills, teamwork effectiveness, understanding of professional roles and responsibilities, and overall collaborative competencies. Furthermore, IPE was found to enhance clinical skills and support the delivery of patient-centered care. However, the effectiveness of IPE implementation was influenced by several factors, including organizational culture, professional stereotypes, hierarchical structures, curriculum readiness, and institutional support within educational and healthcare settings. Conclusion: Interprofessional Education is an effective educational approach for fostering collaborative competencies among healthcare students. Therefore, the systematic, structured, and sustainable integration of IPE into healthcare education curricula is essential to prepare future healthcare professionals who can work collaboratively, improve healthcare quality, and contribute to safe, patient-centered care.
