Abstract

This research focuses on visualizing student academic and non-academic achievement data for the years 2018, 2019, 2020, as well as data related to the 2020 MBKM program at the University of Lampung. The data is processed using Tableau software, allowing for the examination of visual patterns in achievement data based on key attributes, including types of achievements, participants categorized by faculties, and achievement levels classified into three categories: international, national, regional, and provincial achievements. Tableau Public Tools is a software application used for analyzing and presenting data sets to support decision-making processes and assist in organizational data analysis. The output produced using Tableau is presented in the form of a visual dashboard, presenting pre-defined attribute data. This dashboard offers valuable insights and graphical representations of achievement attribute data, which can be utilized for evaluating achievement data by BP2M staff and capturing the interest of the University of Lampung community.

Abstract

The detection of traffic prohibition signs in tropical urban environments is under-documented, as existing benchmark datasets such as GTSRB and TT100K do not represent the specific conditions of Southeast Asia. This study evaluates YOLOv5s for detecting and classifying six classes of traffic prohibition signs on four urban roads in Bandar Lampung, Indonesia, using a dataset of 9,898 labeled images extracted from real-world video recordings under various environmental conditions. YOLOv5s was directly compared with YOLOv4, YOLOv5m, and Faster R-CNN under identical evaluation conditions. YOLOv5s outperformed all comparison models with an average accuracy of 93.34% and an average F1-Score of 95.97%, with performance ranging from 88.65% in Pagar Alam to 97.28% at Unila, reflecting the documented gradation of environmental complexity. Processing speeds of 7.3–8.8 FPS place the system in the near-real-time category, making it suitable for offline traffic monitoring applications. This study provides a method for detecting prohibition signs in tropical urban environments in Indonesia and offers a practical reference point for the development of intelligent transportation systems in developing cities facing similar environmental challenges.

Abstract

The digital era demands that Senior High School teachers adopt new technologies to create interactive and effective learning media, yet the implementation of AI tools in schools remains low. This community service activity aims to enhance the competency of Senior High School teachers in developing learning media through training that utilizes AI tools, such as Canva AI and Gamma AI. The implementation method utilized a blended learning approach over one week (September 21–26), combining face-to-face sessions at the University of Lampung with self-paced learning supported by a Learning Management System. A total of 30 participants registered for the program, with 11 teachers completing the entire series of training activities. The comprehensive training module covered AI fundamentals, practical use of Generative AI, and the implementation of AI in material development and assessment. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in competency, with the average pretest score rising from 77.5 to 89 on the posttest. This improvement yielded an N−Gain value of 0.51 (medium category), confirming the program's effectiveness in transferring practical knowledge and skills. Thus, the training successfully equipped SMA teachers with the ability to leverage AI for efficiency and innovation, which is expected to enhance the quality of learning at partner schools.
