Abstract

Abstrak: Learning Management System (LMS) menjadi salah satu alternative pembelajaran yang memungkinkan guru dan siswa berinteraksi secara sistematis. Selain itu, LMS juga menggambarkan solusi digitaliasasi sistem pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aspek pedagogis dalam LMS Edulogy. Metoda penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus pada dua dashboard LMS Edulogy yaitu dashboard wakil kepala bidang kurikulum dan dashboard guru. Selain itu, repon pengguna juga dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran angket kepada 144 guru dan 8 wakil kepala bidang kurikulum. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa LMS Edulogy cukup baik dalam memfasilitasi wakil kepala bidang kurikulum dan guru dalam menjalankan tugasnya. Sebanyak 64.44 persen tugas wakil kepala bidang kurikulum dan 60 persen tugas guru sudah terfasilitasi dalam LMS Edulogy. Secara keseluruhan, tingkat kepuasaan pada LMS Edulogy tergolong baik dimana 75 persen dari wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum menyatakan puas dan 67.64 persen guru menyatakan puas. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan pengembangan berikutnya terkait LMS dan menjadi bahan pertimbangan untuk menggunakan LMS Edulogy. Abstract: Learning Management System (LMS) was an alternative learning where teachers and students interacted systematically. Besides, LMS also described the digitalization solutions of the education system. This study aimed to analyze the pedagogical aspects of LMS Edulogy. The research meth-od used was a case study on two LMS Edulogy dashboards, namely the dashboard of the vice principal of curriculum and the dashboard of the teacher. In addition, user responses were also collected by distributing questionnaires to 144 teachers and 8 vice-principals of the curriculum. The results showed that the LMS Edulogy was quite good at facilitating the vice principal of the curriculum and teachers in carrying out their duties. As many as 64.44 percent of the duties of the vice principal of curriculum and 60 percent of the duties of the teachers have been facilitated in LMS Edulogy. Overall, the level of satisfaction at LMS Edulogy classified as good where 75 percent of the vice principal in the curriculum field are satisfied and 67.64 percent of the teachers were expressed satisfaction. The results of this study were expected to be a reference for the next development related to LMS and become a consideration for using LMS Edulogy.

Abstract

Fisika merupakan cabang ilmu pengetahuan yang bersifat empiris, artinya setiap hal yang dipelajari dalam fisika perlu adanya pemahaman konsep berdasarkan hasil pengamatan tentang  sebuah gejala atau fenomena alam.  Pada penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis besar volume benda beraturan dan tidak beraturan yang menggunakan metode eksperimen laboratorium. Volume merupakan jumlah ruang yang dapat menampung suatu objek. Objek tersebut  dapat berupa benda beraturan dan benda tidak beraturan, benda beraturan seperti kubus, balok, bola, limas, kerucut, silinder, dan prisma yang memiliki volume dan dapat dihitung dengan menggunakan rumus-rumus matematika yang spesifik. Sementara, benda tidak beraturan memiliki bentuk yang kompleks dan tidak dapat dihitung dengan mudah menggunakan rumus-rumus standar. Oleh karena itu, pengukuran volume benda beraturan dan tidak beraturan memerlukan metode pengukuran yang berbeda-beda. Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah melalui kegiatan praktikum berkelompok, mahasiswa mampu melakukan pengukuran besaran massa, volume, massa jenis pada benda-benda beraturan dan tidak beraturan. Dari penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa setiap bentuk benda memiliki hasil pengukuran yang berbeda-beda karena bentuk benda mempengaruhi volume. Semakin besar volume maka semakin besar juga massanya. Hubungan antara volume dan massa jenis adalah semakin tinggi massa jenis suatu benda, maka semakin besar pula massa setiap volumenya.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: The purpose of this study is to analyze and compare the relationship between current and resistance in series and parallel circuits, and to verify the accuracy of Ohm's Law through experimental measurements and theoretical calculations. Methodology: This study uses a Pre-Experimental Design (One-Group Post-Test Only Design), involving 10 series and 10 parallel circuits with resistors of varying values. Measurements of current and resistance were taken using a digital multimeter and ohmmeter. Data collection occurred at three time points (start, 5 minutes, 10 minutes). The data was compared with theoretical values based on Ohm's Law. Main Findings: The experiment showed that in a series circuit, the current increased proportionally with the applied voltage, consistent with Ohm's Law. In parallel circuits, the current also increased with voltage, but at a higher rate compared to series circuits. The resistance measured in both circuit types was consistent with theoretical calculations, with minor percentage errors observed in both configurations. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offers a fresh perspective by analyzing the application of Ohm’s Law in both series and parallel circuits, comparing real experimental data with theoretical calculations. It advances existing knowledge by providing a practical verification of theoretical concepts, enhancing understanding of current distribution and resistance effects in different circuit configurations, which can benefit students and professionals in electronics.

Abstract

Indonesia, which is in the subduction zone, is prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes and tsunamis. This community service activity aims to increase the awareness of the youth of the Banguntapan Asri Housing Youth Organization regarding earthquake and tsunami disaster mitigation. Through interactive zoominar, participants were given material on the causes, impacts, and mitigation measures of disasters. The methods used include pre-test, post-test, and discussion sessions. The results of the evaluation showed an increase in participants' knowledge about earthquake and tsunami mitigation. However, there are still several questions that need to be answered further to improve similar programs in the future. Overall, this activity makes a positive contribution to efforts to build a disaster safe culture in the community

Abstract

Physics is a science that studies objects, their motion, and their benefits to human life. Measurement in physics is the activity of comparing the measured quantity with another quantity that has been established as a unit. Regular objects, such as spheres, blocks, and cubes, have shapes that can easily be calculated using geometric formulas. In contrast, irregular objects pose a greater challenge because their shapes cannot be simply represented by geometric equations. This study aims to identify the measurement techniques used for both regular and irregular objects in terms of accuracy and efficiency. The methods discussed include techniques for determining the volume and density of objects. This experiment provides better insights into the selection of appropriate measurement methods based on the characteristics of the object being measured. The results of the experiment show that measuring regular objects is easier with simple measuring tools, while irregular objects require more careful and precise approaches to obtain accurate results. Measurement errors can occur, especially when measuring irregular objects, which can be minimized by using proper measuring tools and following correct procedures.

Abstract

Light reflection is a basic phenomenon in optics that has been explained in depth in the law of light reflection. This law states that the angle of incidence of a light ray is equal to its angle of reflection when it hits a flat surface. Light reflection can occur on various surfaces, both smooth and rough. This study aims to experimentally corroborate the application of the law of light reflection on a flat mirror. The research method used is a quantitative method with an experimental design designed to measure the angle of incidence and angle of reflection of a laser beam directed at a flat mirror. This method allows researchers to collect numerical data that can be analyzed statistically. The results of the data analysis show that there is a linear relationship between the angle of incidence and the angle of reflection, with the values of the two angles always being equal for each measurement. This result is in line with the law of light reflection and provides strong evidence to support the correctness of the law.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan asesmen mahasiswa pendidikan fisika semester 4 melalui sosialisasi buku "Kontekstualisasi Asesmen dalam Pembelajaran Fisika: AfL, AsL, AoL". Metode yang digunakan adalah Forum Group Discussion dengan rincian observasi awal, identifikasi masalah, penyusunan materi, edukasi, dan pelaporan hasil kegiatan. Melalui metode ini, pada bagian edukasi, mahasiswa dilibatkan secara aktif dalam memahami konsep dan praktik asesmen, khususnya Assessment for Learning (AfL), Assessment as Learning (AsL), dan Assessment of Learning (AoL). Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan keantusiasan dan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang berbagai jenis asesmen dan penerapannya dalam pembelajaran fisika. Mereka mampu memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif, dan mengubah soal lama menjadi ada kebaruan dan relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Kegiatan ini berhasil meningkatkan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif mahasiswa, serta mendapatkan umpan balik positif. Diharapkan sosialisasi buku ini dapat berdampak positif pada kualitas pembelajaran fisika di masa depan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hukum pemantulan cahaya dengan menganalisis hubungan antara sudut datang dan sudut pantul pada permukaan cermin datar. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, di mana sudut datang dan sudut pantul diukur secara presisi menggunakan alat optik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sudut datang selalu sama dengan sudut pantul, sesuai dengan hukum pemantulan cahaya. Selain itu, hasil kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa arah pantulan tidak mempengaruhi hubungan ini secara signifikan. Temuan ini memperkuat validitas hukum pemantulan cahaya serta berkontribusi dalam pemahaman dasar optik, yang relevan untuk bidang pendidikan dan penelitian fisika.

Abstract

Medan magnet Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) merupakan salah satu bentuk radiasi elektromagnetik non – ionisasi dengan frekuensi di bawah 300 Hz yang terbukti memiliki pengaruh terhadap sistem biologi, khususnya dalam bidang pertanian dan pangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektifitas paparan medan magnet ELF terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman dan ketahanan bahan pangan melalui metode studi literatur. Hasil pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa medan magnet ELF dapat meningkatkan parameter fisiologis tanaman seperti tinggi batang, jumlah daun, luas daun, serta aktivitas enzimatik dan metabolisme sel, dengan efektivitas yang bergantung pada intensitas dan durasi paparan. Di sisi lain, ELF medan juga berkontribusi dalam perpanjangan umur simpan bahan pangan dengan menekan aktivitas mikroorganisme pembusuk dan menjaga stabilitas pH serta kualitas fisik dan kimia produk pangan. Intensitas optimal medan magnet ELF untuk mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman berkisar antara 300 – 500 µT, sedangkan untuk ketahanan pangan dapat mencapai hingga 1500 µT dengan pengendalian durasi paparan. Meskipun sebagian besar penelitian menunjukkan hasil positif, respons terhadap ELF medan sangat dipengaruhi oleh jenis tanaman, kondisi lingkungan, dan metode aplikasi. Potensi medan magnet ELF dalam menunjang pertanian modern dan tegnologi pascapanen sangat besar, sehingga memerlukan pengembangan lebih lanjut melalui penelitian eksperimental.

Abstract

Physics education often presents challenges for students due to its abstract and complex nature. Many students struggle to comprehend the interrelationships between concepts and tend to memorize formulas without developing a deep conceptual understanding. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Advance Organizer as a metacognitive approach to enhance students' scientific literacy, conceptual understanding, and mathematical communication skills. The research method employed is Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), combined with a quasi-experimental design employing the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The developed instructional materials include lesson plans (RPP), student worksheets (LKPD), interactive visual-based learning media, and assessment instruments. The findings indicate that students in the experimental group using the Advance Organizer demonstrated significantly greater improvements in conceptual understanding compared to the control group. The average scientific literacy score increased from 71.88 to 83.22 (N-Gain = 0.40, moderate category), while mathematical communication skills improved from 68.03 to 79.38 (N-Gain = 0.35, moderate category). Statistical analysis using Hotelling’s T² test revealed a significant difference between the experimental and control groups (F = 14.755, p < 0.05), while effect size analysis using Cohen’s f showed a large impact on scientific literacy (f = 0.625) and a moderate impact on mathematical communication (f = 0.342). Although this strategy proved effective, several challenges were identified, including students' initial difficulties in adapting to active learning methods and the need for teacher training in designing optimal Advance Organizers. This study recommends integrating the Advance Organizer with digital technology and further exploring its application across various physics topics to enhance the effectiveness of metacognitive-based learning.
