Abstract

Early marital adjustment is very difficult to endure, especially for women who have been forced to marry because they were arranged in early-age. This research aims to determine dynamics of early marital adjustment in in early-age women in arranged marriages. The method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The data was collected through in-depth interviews with four women who were married before the age of 18 and had been married for more than 10 years. Data analysis is conducted through four stages: epoche, phenomenological reduction, imaginative variation, and synthesis of meaning and essences. The result found that woman who arranged marriage in early-age generally experienced the dynamics of early marital adjustment through the five stages. Denial is shown through feelings of shock, sadness, fear, and rejection of marriage. Anger is shown through a decline in physical condition. Bargaining is shown through seeking help. Depression is shown through resignation and indifference towards marriage. Acceptance is influenced by supporting factors, namely the behavior and attitude of the husband, parents, carrying out the role of a wife, trying to convince oneself, readiness to become a parent, adjusting to the husband's family, fulfilling household needs, maintaining communication, and lowering the ego. The inhibiting factors are being unprepared for marriage and age differences with the husband. In the end, the respondents melted and began to accept their husbands due to the kindness, patience, and affection shown by them. The respondents have started to find happiness in their marriages. The implication of this research is that it is hoped that it can increase knowledge regarding the dynamics of early marital adjustment in in early-age women in arranged marriages.

Abstract

In early adulthood, one of the developmental tasks is choosing a partner and preparing for marriage. However, currently there are still many early adults who have not prepared themselves to get married and one of the factors that influence an individual's readiness to marry is personality and behavior. Personality and behavior are formed from the perceptions, attitudes and values that individuals have regarding their family background (having a divorced family). This research aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of parental divorce and readiness to marry in early adulthood. The sample in this study consisted of 100 people aged 18-25 years, whose parents were divorced and unmarried. Data collection was carried out using two research instruments, namely, the perception scale towards divorce and the readiness scale for marriage. Hypothesis testing using product moment correlation analysis. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between perceptions of parental divorce and readiness to marry in early adulthood, r = 0.51 (p = 0.000). The more positive the perception of parental divorce, the higher the readiness to marry in early adulthood. The implication of this research is that early adult individuals are expected to be able to view divorce from two points of view, both positive and negative, so that it does not become a reason for individuals to postpone their marriage.

Abstract

Generation Z who are entering adulthood are experiencing various demands of developmental tasks which make generation Z face a quarter life crisis. This research aims to reveal the overview of the quarter life crisis in generation Z who are entering early adulthood. This research uses a qualitative research method with a case study approach through semi-structured interviews with 5 respondents aged 20-28 years, and 4 significant others. The data analysis technique uses theory driven analysis techniques. The research results show that generation Z experiences indecisiveness in making decisions, despair, negative self-evaluation, being trapped in difficult situations, anxious, depressed, and worried about interpersonal relationships. This crisis arises due to lack of confidence in one's abilities, fear of taking risks, not having goal, ease of accessing information, mastery of technology, competition in getting a job, social demands, and poor friendships. The impacts felt by generation Z include feelings of shame, stress, overthinking, hopelessness, health problems, spending more time on social media, and being encouraged to develop and get to know themselves. It is hoped that this research can be a source of information for generation Z in understanding and overcoming the quarter life crisis. Keywords: Early adulthood, Generation Z, Quarter life crisis

Abstract

Abstrak. Stimulasi sangat penting dalam perkembangan anak usia dini agar kemampuan anak berkembang optimal sesuai dengan usianya. Kasus keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun khususnya di era digital dan masa pandemi covid-19. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh stimulasi perkembangan utamanya aspek perkembangan bahasa yang dilakukan orangtua selama mendampingi anak usia dini berusia 0-5 tahun terhadap kecenderungan keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa (speech delay) anak. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan subjek penelitian adalah orang tua yang memiliki anak usia 0-5 tahun di Kota Makassar dengan berbagai latar belakang pendidikan dan profesi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner penelitian yang disebarkan kepada para responden secara online maupun offline. Teknik analisis data menggunakan dengan metode analisis data regresi linier sederhana menggunakan SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < p (0,05) yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara stimulasi perkembangan yang dilakukan orangtua terhadap kecenderungan keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa (speech delay) pada anak usia dini. Adapun R2 yang diperoleh sebesar 0,597 atau senilai dengan 59,7% peranan stimulasi perkembangan orangtua terhadap kecenderungan perkembangan bahasa pada anak usia dini. Kontribusi dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kesadaran bagi seluruh orangtua akan pentingnya stimulasi perkembangan yang optimal agar anak usia dini mampu mencapai perkembangan sesuai usianya sehingga tidak terjadi keterlambatan perkembangan bahasa (speech delay) di periode golden year anak.Kata kunci: Stimulasi Perkembangan, Keterlambatan Perkembangan Bahasa, Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Abstract. This Community Service activity is carried out at SD Pertiwi Makassar which is an inclusive school, almost every class has students with special needs. Pertiwi Makassar Elementary School has obstacles in assisting students with special needs, ranging from knowledge, special assistants, to supporting facilities (facilities and infrastructure) for students with special needs. So far, not all students with special needs have Special Accompanying Teachers (GPK), so more students with special needs are only accompanied by class teachers during learning. This program aims to enable teachers to recognize and understand how to assist students with special needs, so that teachers can assist students with special needs with assistance that suits the needs and conditions of students. The provision of psychoeducation in the form of assistance training for students with special needs can increase the understanding and knowledge of teachers to be able to assist students with special needs with assistance that suits their needs that are different from regular student.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of visual and participatory psychoeducation themed "Stop Bullying: We Are All Valuable" in improving students' understanding of bullying in SD X. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one group pre-test and post-test design. A total of 30 grade 3 students participated in this program. After the pre-test, students participated in psychoeducation through posters, videos, and interactive games. The normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed, and the paired samples t-test analysis results showed a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores with a significance value of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). The mean score of the post-test was higher than the pre-test, indicating that students' understanding improved after participating in the psychoeducation. Thus, this visual and participatory psychoeducation is effective to increase students' awareness about bullying and can be a preventive effort in creating a safe school environment for students. Keywords: bullying, psychoeducation, elementary school students, visual, participatory.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor penyebab perceraian, dampaknya terhadap istri, serta strategi pemulihan psikologis pasca perceraian dalam perspektif psikologi keluarga. Latar belakang studi ini didasari oleh meningkatnya angka perceraian di Kota Makassar, khususnya perceraian yang diajukan oleh istri, yang mencerminkan dinamika sosial dan psikologis dalam institusi pernikahan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap seorang wanita berusia 52 tahun yang mengalami perceraian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat empat faktor utama penyebab perceraian: perbedaan pendapat yang bersumber dari perbedaan usia dan pola pikir antara pasangan, kurangnya komunikasi efektif, konflik rumah tangga yang tidak terselesaikan, dan perselingkuhan. Dampak perceraian yang dialami responden meliputi hilangnya dukungan sosial, munculnya perasaan sedih mendalam, dan rusaknya hubungan kekeluargaan (terutama terputusnya tali silaturahmi). Meski demikian, responden berupaya melakukan pemulihan psikologis melalui pendekatan membujuk mantan pasangan serta membangun kembali relasi yang harmonis setelah perceraian. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perceraian bukan hanya peristiwa hukum atau agama, tetapi juga proses psikologis yang kompleks yang berdampak luas terhadap individu dan lingkungan sosialnya. Pemahaman terhadap penyebab dan dampaknya sangat penting untuk membangun program konseling, intervensi psikologis, serta edukasi pranikah yang dapat membantu pasangan membangun pernikahan yang sehat, harmonis, dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Kecenderungan tindakan kekerasan ayah merupakan suatu fenomena yang merugikan dan dapat menimbulkan trauma atau luka tersendiri pada anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara parenting stress pada ayah dengan kecenderungan tindakan kekerasan terhadap anak. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah ayah yang memiliki anak usia 12—18 tahun dan tinggal bersama dengan anak. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 230 orang. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson dengan nilai p = .000 (< .05) dan nilai r = .664. Adapun hasil pengujian hubungan parenting stress dengan bentuk kekerasan fisik (p = .000, r = .513), hubungan parenting stress dengan bentuk kekerasan emosional (p = .000, r = .599), hubungan parenting stress dengan bentuk pengabaian (p = .000, r = .594), hubungan parenting stress dengan bentuk kekerasan seksual (p = .000, r = .276). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara parenting stress ayahdengan kecenderungan tindakan kekerasan terhadap anak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa makin tinggi parenting stress pada ayah, makin tinggi pula kecenderungan tindakan kekerasan terhadap anak dan begitu pula sebaliknya. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan untuk membuat program psikoedukasi guna mengurangi stres orangtua saat memasuki masa remaja.

Abstract

Abstrak. Perkembangan emosi anak dipengaruhi oleh interaksi keluarga diberbagai tingkatan. Kenangan masa kanak-kanak dapat berkontribusi pada resiko depresi dan ketidakmampuan meregulasi emosi dikemudian hari, hal ini terakumulasi melalui berbagai pengalaman diawal kehidupan saat mereka berada ditahap perkembangan yang sensitif. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui Pengaruh pola komunikasi dan gaya kelekatan pasangan terhadap perkembangan emosi anak usia dini. Subjek yang terlibat pada penelitian ini berjumlah 83 dengan krtiteria dengan rentang usia 20-50 tahun dan memiliki anak usia dini 3-6 Tahun. Tekhnik sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Data penelitian dianalisis dengan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pola komunikasi tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosial emosi anak. Sedangkan attachment pasangan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap perkembangan sosial emosi anak. Secara keseluruhan kedua variabel memberikan sumbangsih sebesar 14,1% terhadap perkembangan sosial emosi anak. Penelitian ini diharapkan berkontribusi terhadap pembentukan keluarga yang tangguh serta pembentukan karakteristik anak yang positif.   Keywords: Kelekatan Pasangan, Perkembangan Sosial Emosi Anak, Pola Komunikasi

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of visual psychoeducation themed “Know Your Emotions, Manage Your Heart!” in improving fourth-grade students' understanding of emotional regulation at SD X. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. A total of 36 fourth-grade students participated in the program. The intervention was conducted through poster presentations and a simple question-and-answer session. Normality test results showed that the data were normally distributed, and paired sample t-test analysis revealed a significant difference between pre-test and post-tests cores with a significance value of p = 0.039 (p < 0.05). The mean post-test score was higher than the pre-test score, indicating an improvement in students' understanding of emotional regulation after participating in the psychoeducation. Thus, visual psychoeducation using posters is effective in increasing emotional awareness and supporting mental health education efforts in elementary schools.
