Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the strategic plan in improving the quality of education at SMPN 3 Banjarmasin. The school’s strategic plan serves as a medium- to long-term planning document that functions as a guideline for designing priority programs to achieve the school’s vision, mission, and educational goals. A descriptive qualitative method was used, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that the strategic plan is implemented through a collaborative formulation of the school’s vision and mission, the development of specific goals focused on improving instructional quality and character education, and the application of participatory strategies supported by ongoing evaluation. Internal factors such as a collaborative work culture and strong leadership from the school principal have positively contributed to the success of the strategy, although challenges remain regarding limited human resources. External factors, including government policies and technological developments, also influence the adaptation of teaching strategies. The positive impacts of this implementation are reflected in improved teaching quality, increased community enthusiasm, and growing public trust in the school. These findings highlight the importance of an integrated strategic plan and active involvement from all stakeholders to ensure the sustainability of education quality.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the curriculum management strategies implemented at SMKN 1 Sungai Tabuk to improve the quality of graduates in alignment with the demands of the workforce. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with data triangulation techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings reveal that curriculum management is carried out systematically through planning, organization, implementation, and evaluation. In the planning phase, the school develops annual and semester programs, Learning Objectives Flow (ATP), and teaching modules aligned with the needs of the Business and Industrial World (DUDI). The organization of the curriculum involves teacher participation in ongoing training, professional learning communities, subject teacher working groups (MGMP), and industry internships. Curriculum implementation is supported by strategic partnerships through fieldwork practice programs and graduate placement facilitated by the School Job Placement Unit (BKK). Curriculum evaluation is conducted collaboratively by the curriculum development team and various school program teams, taking into account feedback from teachers, students, and industry partners. However, several challenges remain, including limited teacher innovation in lesson planning, inadequate facilities, and insufficient mastery of the Merdeka Curriculum approach. This study recommends enhancing teacher capacity, improving learning infrastructure, and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders in curriculum management to produce more competent and industry-ready graduates.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas penerapan model BANUA dan media wordwall dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila untuk mengatasi rendahnya aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta keterampilan berpikir kritis dan kerja sama siswa akibat pembelajaran yang monoton dan kurang bervariasi. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilakukan selama empat pertemuan di kelas III SD Muhammadiyah 1 dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada pertemuan 1 hingga pertemuan 4 mengalami peningkatan dengan kriteria “sangat baik”. Aktivitas siswa pada pertemuan 1 hingga pertemuan 4 meningkat dari 50% (cukup aktif) menjadi 100% (sangat aktif). Keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada pertemuan 1 hingga pertemuan 4 meningkat dari 44% (cukup terampil) menjadi 100% (sangat terampil). Keterampilan kerja sama siswa pada pertemuan 1 hingga pertemuan 4 meningkat dari 44% (cukup terampil) menjadi 100% (sangat terampil). Hal ini berdampak positif pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari pertemuan 1 hingga pertemuan 4 meningkat dari 6% menjadi 100%. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model BANUA dan media wordwall efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran dan direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam proses pendidikan.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the policy on appointing honorary teachers as ASN PPPK (Government Employees with Work Agreements) in Kelumpang Hilir District, which faces numerous structural, administrative, and resource-related challenges. The main obstacles identified include limited budget allocations, weak inter-agency coordination, and social resistance from some honorary teachers who perceive the selection process as unfair. Nevertheless, this policy holds significant potential to enhance educational quality, teacher professionalism, and equitable teacher distribution in remote areas. The study highlights the critical role of local governments in supporting the policy's execution by improving coordination mechanisms, ensuring efficient budget management, and delivering clear public outreach. Moreover, strengthening personnel information systems and conducting regular policy evaluations are essential to ensuring its effectiveness. The findings aim to offer practical recommendations for policymakers to overcome existing barriers and support the long-term success of honorary teacher appointments, particularly in stabilizing educational human resources and improving language education quality.

Abstract

Vocational education plays a pivotal role in enhancing the competitiveness of Vocational High School (SMK) graduates in the face of global demands. This study explores the role and effectiveness of vocational education policies in improving language competence and graduate employability at SMKN 1 Telagasari. Employing a case study approach, the findings reveal that policies encouraging collaboration between schools and industry, along with the adoption of competency-based curricula, significantly support the development of both technical skills and language-related soft skills. The results show a marked improvement in graduate employability following the implementation of these policies. However, the study also identifies challenges such as regional disparities in vocational education quality and limited funding and infrastructure. Strengthening policy support and increasing resource allocation are essential to improving vocational education outcomes at a national level.

Abstract

The instructional leadership at SDN Pelajau Baru plays a significant role in improving language teachers’ performance and the overall quality of language instruction through structured managerial strategies. This study highlights the implementation of various instructional leadership strategies, including the establishment of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs), data-driven supervision, and participatory leadership approaches. The findings reveal that effective instructional leadership in this school is supported by the principal’s and teachers’ professional competence, digital literacy, and emotional intelligence. Nonetheless, the study also identifies key challenges such as excessive administrative workload and limited time for instructional supervision. Strengthening the capacity of school principals through intensive training and integrating supervision practices into PLC forums are recommended to address these issues. Overall, the research underscores that consistent and well-executed instructional leadership has a positive impact on enhancing language teachers’ motivation, professionalism, and the quality of language teaching in primary education.

Abstract

Conflicts among teachers in a school setting are a natural occurrence, often arising from differing viewpoints and individual traits. The principal's role in managing these conflicts through effective communication is vital in maintaining a harmonious and supportive work environment. This research investigates the communicative strategies applied by the principal of SD Negeri 2 Pantai in resolving teacher conflicts and fostering relational harmony within the school. Using a case study approach, data were gathered through interviews, observation, and document review. The results show that strategies such as open dialogue, mediation, and the promotion of a collaborative work culture significantly contribute to minimizing conflicts while boosting teacher motivation and teamwork. The study recommends that school principals enhance their communication and conflict resolution competencies to create a more positive and harmonious school climate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi kepala sekolah dalam mengimplementasikan visi dan misi di SMK Negeri 2 Marabahan serta keterkaitannya dengan kinerja sekolah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah menerapkan strategi yang terarah, termasuk pembagian peran sesuai kompetensi, kepemimpinan visioner, pelibatan aktif dalam perencanaan hingga eksekusi program, dan penguatan budaya kolaboratif. Visi dan misi tidak hanya menjadi dokumen formal, tetapi diinternalisasi ke dalam setiap kebijakan dan kegiatan operasional sekolah. Capaian prestasi siswa dan guru serta status sekolah sebagai SMK-PK dan BLUD menjadi bukti konkret keberhasilan implementasi strategi tersebut. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keselarasan antara visi, misi, dan praktik kinerja sekolah secara nyata dapat membentuk identitas kelembagaan yang kuat dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan secara berkelanjutan

Abstract

Literasi sains merupakan komponen penting dalam membangun kompetensi abad 21, terutama di era digital yang menuntut kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi sekolah dalam pengembangan literasi sains melalui STEM Club di Pondok Darul Hijrah, lembaga pesantren yang menaungi empat satuan pendidikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles, Huberman, & Saldana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi pengelolaan STEM Club dilaksanakan secara terstruktur dan kontekstual, dengan integrasi nilai keislaman dan kegiatan berbasis proyek yang mampu meningkatkan keterampilan abad 21 siswa. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru, aktivitas anak, meningkatkan kemampuan motorik halus anak terutama dalamkegiatan meniru bentuk. Penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dilakukan dalam penelitian selama 2 siklus dan jumlah pertemuan yang dilakukan sebanyak 4 kali, merupakan metode penelitian yang digunakan, dengan jumlah sampel penelitian sebanyak 14 siswa dari kelompok B di Taman Kanak-Kanak Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal 37 Banjarmasin yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini selama tahun ajaran 2024–2025. Wawancara, observasi, dan penilaian aktivitas guru dan siswa serta hasil perkembangan kognitif siswa digunakan sebagai teknik mengumpulkan data. Untuk analisis data, teknik yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel data dan grafik dilengkapi dengan indikator pencapaian perkembangan yang telah ditentukan sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas guru pada pertemuan ke-1 mendapat skor 21 dengan kategori Baik dan terus meningkat hingga pertemuan ke- 4 mendapatkan skor 31 kategori Sangat Baik. Keterampilan Anak pada pertemuan ke-1 mendapatkan persentase 7% kategori “Hampir Tidak Ada Anak Yang Terampil” dan terus meningkat hingga pertemuan ke-4 dengan persentase 100% kategori Seluruh Anak Aktif. Hasil Perkembangan Motorik Halus Anak pada pertemuan ke-1 persentase 7% dan terus mengalami peningkatan pada pertemuan ke-4 skor 93% seluruh anak berhasil berkembang kategori Berkembang Sesuai Harapan (BSH), dan Berkembang Sangat Baik (BSB).  Kesimpulan dari hasil temuan ini adalah dengan mengintegrasikan Model PJBL, Metode Demontrasi, dan Media Flanel dapat membuat aktivitas guru menjadi lebih variatif dan berpengaruh pada interaksi pada aktivitas anak dan pada hasilnya mampu meningkatkan perkembangan motorik halus anak.
