Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of vendor trucking management, delivery timeliness, and fleet availability on export delivery performance at PT XYZ Logistics Jakarta. A quantitative research approach was employed, utilizing hypothesis testing to examine the relationships among these variables. Data collection was conducted using a structured questionnaire with a five-point Likert scale, involving logistics personnel engaged in freight forwarding activities for IKEA. The collected data was analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that vendor trucking management has a positive effect on delivery timeliness. Fleet availability significantly influences export delivery performance. Additionally, delivery timeliness positively impacts export efficiency. The findings also reveal that vendor trucking management indirectly affects export delivery performance through its influence on delivery timeliness. Moreover, fleet availability moderates the relationship between vendor management and delivery success. The study suggests that logistics firms should prioritize vendor accountability, adopt AI-driven scheduling analytics, and invest in fleet modernization to enhance operational resilience and shipment accuracy.

Abstract

The problem of this reasearch has entered the industrial revolution 4.0 (4IR), then strategy implementation need to be done through 4IR road map. Specific aspect which has effect to Industry 4.0 Technology Adoption are technology intensity, strict capital & human resources investment, therefore performances measurement which consider whole organization become more relevant. The purpose of this research was to test moderation effect of Industry 4.0 Technology process-related and product/service-related into the lean manufacturing implementation to business performance. The methodology of this research is using PLS-SEM approach with SMART-PLS software. Measurement of variable datas were obtained through 1 -5 Likert scale survey which was distributed to PT.XYZ employee. The finding of this research show those Industry 4.0 Technology process-related and product/servicerelated were not moderating implementation of lean manufacturing to business performance in PT. XYZ. The limitation in this study were only for PT. XYZ operational scope and were using data from Aug – Nov 2020. Conclusion of this research can not be generalized to other research object or to describe PT. XYZ in another time.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengiriman Day Old Chicks (DOC) dengan menggunakan angkutan udara melibatkan tingkat Dead on Arrival (DOA) yang meliputi tingkat kematian, penurunan kualitas, dan tingkat kehilangan baik pada prosedur pengiriman reguler maupun charter. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memitigasi risiko guna meminimalisir risiko tersebut dengan menggunakan analisis House of Risk (HoR). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan memanfaatkan triangulasi, wawancara, observasi, dan HoR. Hasil penelitian dari prosedur pengiriman penerbangan reguler dan charter mengidentifikasi 12 kejadian risiko dan 21 agen risiko. Hasil HoR-1 menemukan korelasi antara kejadian risiko dan agen risiko, sehingga menghasilkan nilai Aggregate Risk Potential (ARP), mengidentifikasi empat agen risiko dominan: penempatan dan penataan kotak yang kurang optimal, tercampurnya DOC dengan kargo lain, waktu tunggu penerbangan yang lama, dan suhu yang terlalu panas atau dingin. Pada tahap mitigasi risiko, HoR-2 mengidentifikasi 15 tindakan pencegahan yang dominan: menata kotak DOC di atas palet, menambahkan penyangga sudut, menghindari penumpukan kotak yang berlebihan, menggunakan material kotak yang sesuai, memastikan penanganan yang cermat oleh personel, menjaga suhu ruangan yang sesuai untuk DOC, memastikan sirkulasi udara yang baik di sekitar kotak DOC dan di area penyimpanan, berkoordinasi antar pihak terkait kebutuhan penanganan khusus DOC, menyiapkan prosedur darurat untuk keterlambatan yang lebih lama dari yang diharapkan, memeriksa suhu sebelum pengiriman, menggunakan perangkat pemantauan suhu waktu nyata, meminimalkan waktu yang dihabiskan di area terbuka, dan melakukan pengiriman pada malam hari. Berdasarkan hasil HoR-2, perusahaan harus menerapkan mitigasi berdasarkan nilai efektivitasnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menentukan lokasi fasilitas Workshop Center perbaikan spare part Fasilitas Keamanan Penerbangan (FASKAMPEN) PT Angkasa Pura Suport (APS) yang paling optimal dari 15 lokasi cabang yang tersebar di Indonesia. Penentuan lokasi yang strategis sangat penting untuk mencapai efisiensi biaya dan waktu pengiriman (Lead Time) dalam operasional rantai pasok. Metode yang digunakan adalah kombinasi teknik kuantitatif Center of Gravity (COG) dan kualitatif Rating Factor, yang kemudian divalidasi dengan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP).
