Abstract

This research conducted on optical business in Pekanbaru, this study aims to identify and analyze the implementation of the strategy of competitive advantage in order to increase the volume of sales in the optical business in Pekanbaru.Methods of data collection using questionnaires. The questionnaire is the technique of data collection is done by providing a set of written questions to the respondent’s in charge. The sample is part of the number and characteristics of the population is owned by as many as 36 business owners optical. Data obtained from the questioner and then processed to then tested with statistics through SPSS program. the results showed that competitive advantage strategy cost leadership strategy (x1) and the differentiation strategy (x2) has positive influence on the sales volume. The calculated result is known that R square is coefficient of determination. So that, it obtained the value of R square is about 0,725. It is meaned that the influence of variable cost leadership and differentiation variable was 72,5% to sales volume.Keywords: competitive strategy,cost leadership, differentiation, sales volume.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of stress and work conflict on employee performance at the independent Islamic bank PT. Pekanbaru Panam. Where two independent variables and one dependent variable are proposed, namely work stress and work conflict as independent variables and employee performance as dependent variables. This research method is descriptive and quantitative by using the SPSS 21 program, where the sample used is the employee of Mandiri Syariah Bank PT. Pekanbaru Panam with 33 respondents. For sampling technique using census method. Techniques of data collection through questionnaires and interview. The result of the analysis using validity test, reliability test, determination test, simple regretion test, multiple linear regression test, t test, and f test, so that it can be seen that work stress has negative and significant effect on employee performance, that work conflict has negative and significant effect on employee performance, and that stress and work conflict have a significant effect on employee performanceKeywords : work stress, work conflict, and employee performance

Abstract

This study was to determine the Effect of Motivation on Employee Morale Business Banking (Studies Achievement In Need Implementation of Bank BNI Branch Rengat). This research is located PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Branch Rengat. Which is located on Regent Street 17 B Sincere Rengat. The research population is all employees at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Branch Rengat which amounts to 32 people. Analysis of the data in this study using SPSS. The sampling technique used is the method of census data and testing techniques used in this study include validity, reliability, simple linear regression and t-test to test and prove the research hypothesis.The analysis showed that the Effect of Motivation on Employee Morale Business Banking (Studies Achievement In Need Implementation of Bank BNI Rengat). Based on the results obtained by the value of r (correlation coefficient) of 0.691% means that 69.1% application need achievement motivation variable significant effect on the morale of Bank BNI Rengat. Results of hypothesis testing found that t-count larger than t-table which means Ha accepted.Keywords: Motivation, Need Achievement, and spirit at work

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the spirit of work on the performance of employees on permanent employees at PT. Bangkinang .spirit of work as the independent variable ( x ) has been formulated that is seen on the level of absenteeism , job satisfaction , cooperation , and discipline, while the employee's performance as the dependent variable ( y ) . this research was carried out on all permanent employees at PT. Bangkinang many as 44 people .Data obtained from questionnaires and subsequently processed to then be tested using statistical analysis as a simple linear regression analysis, t test, and correlation analysis and determination using spss.The results showed that the results of hypothesis testing t greater than t table is 11.205 >1.998 .this shows that the morale effect on employee performance . the amount effect of the spirit of work on the performance of employeeson permanent employees at PT.Bangkinang is 73.8 % .Keywords: Spirit Of Work, Employee Performance

Abstract

United Overseas Bank Limited (UOB) is engaged in the banking field. UOB Bank is a leading bank in Asia which provides a large number of financial services through its global network. In order to face the competition is quite tough, and able to survive even in difficult circumstances and to provide the best service to its customers the company should pay attention work engagement and loyalty of employees to increase their involvement and awareness and loyalty of employees to work in this company and also to find out how employee performance. To that effect we perform research work engagement (X) and employee loyalty (X2) on employee performance (Y). The method in this research is quantitatively using SPSS program 17, where samples were used that employees with respondents as many as 40 people. The sampling technique is probability sampling. The results showed that the results of hypothesis testing T test, t is known t arithmetic (6.329)> t table (2.024) and sig (0.000) <0.005. meaning that job involvement variables significantly influence employee performance. t (6.739)> t table (2.024) and sig (0.000) <0.005 means that the variable employee loyalty significant effect on employee performance.Keywords: work involvement, employee loyalty, employee performance

Abstract

The issue of the application of leadership style is a major problem in determining the success of the company. To the PT. Indah Kiat section Pulp Making 9 Perawang is a private company engaged in the production of paper, if notice of the company is likely to use the leadership style of telling. The problem in this company as a result of labour turn over in particular, which resulted in losses to the company. Employees are one of the most important factors of production in the company. Without employees, the company would be difficult to achieve the goals that have been set.One phenomenon that describes the organizations lack of commitment by employees of the Pulp Making 9 PT. Indah Kiat Perawang is can be seen from labour turn over (LTO).The results of the study can be concluded as follow: Application of leadership style that includes the indicators telling, selling, participating, delegating to the PT. Indah Kiat section Pulp Making 9 categorized agree, this indicates that the style of leadership in the company can be received by the employee with either.In connection with the organizational commitment of employees to the leadership style treatment of employees with good leadership it will certainly lead to better the commitment of subordinates, however the statement of four indicators leadership style used in this study turned out to respondents is inconsistent, still there are respondents who disagree and neutral.For the implementation of the leadership style to the PT. Indah Kiat section Pulp Making 9 more appropriate to use the leadership style of selling.For employee commitment to the organization is basically good or approved, just still a lot that needs to be improved in order to reduce labour turn over in employees. While the relationship of leadership style and organizational commitment of employees is basically strong with reason when leadership style performed by using force selling.Keywords : leadership style , organizational commitment , telling , selling

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the effect of incentives (material incentives and incentives non material) and work environment (physical work environment and work environment non fiisk) on employee job satisfaction (satisfaction with work, satisfaction with the system of rewards and job satisfaction of working conditions) 1912 mortgage Pekanbaru.The population in this study is karyaan in 1912 KPR Pekanbaru with sampling as many as 50 were drawn by using a questionnaire method. measurement techniques using Likert scale and the types and sources of data in the form of primary and secondary data while the data collection techniques with a questionnaire and interviews as research instruments. As well as using multiple linear regression data analysis, determination, t test and f test with SPSS.From the research data that includes test validity, The reliability, and multiple linear regression, the results showed no significant relationship between supervision terhaap employee performance with the calculated t of t test results are known (4.662)> t table (2,012) and Sig. (0,000) <0.05 can be concluded that the incentives variable significant effect on employee job satisfaction in 1912 KPR Pekanbaru and of the t test results are known t arithmetic (5.476)> t table (2,012) and Sig. (0.003) <0, 05 it can be concluded that the work environment variables significantly influence employee satisfaction in 1912 KPR Pekanbaru.And there is significant influence between Incentives and Work Environment on Job Satisfaction of employees with the calculated Unknown R squre is the coefficient of determination. And obtained a value of R squre 0.644. What this means is that the contribution of variable influence on the performance of supervision and loyalty of employees amounted to 64.6%. While the remaining 35.4% is influenced by other variables that are not included in the regression analysis.Keywords: Incentives, Work Environment and Employee Satis

Abstract

Nusa Lima Hospital is one of hospital in Pekanbaru, which engaged health care services. It is a hospital that built by PT. Perkebunan Nusatara Lima. It has purpose to assist and improve the achievement for corporate’s goals. The others function of this hospital are forhealth care employees and their families, and the other patients too.The purpose of this study is for analyze the relationship between the achievement assessments and employee performance. This study uses quantitative descriptive method with correlationak techniques. In which the data was collected by questioners method for was us respondent. After that, it was done by using spearman analysis for the data that been gottenThe result of this study and hypothesis testing showed hat there is a significant positive relationship between democratic leadershipand employees loyalty working in Nusa Lima hospital Pekanbaru. Through correlation analysis by Spearman Rank know that the assessmen of leadership and working loyalty have coefficient value. It is 0,647, here coefficient interpretation correlation valu to identify the relationship between democratic leadership employee’s loyalty is strong categorized.Key words : Democratic Leadership, Loyalty Working, Hospital.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Transformational Leadership Style and Working Environment on Employee Satisfaction (Case Study at Hotel Ratu Mayang Garden Pekanbaru). Transformational Leadership Style as a variable ( X1 ) Working Environment as a variable ( X2 ) and Job Satisfaction as ( Y ).The method in this research is descriptive and quantitative using SPSS 20. Abstract

This study aims to analyze organizational communication and work motivation and its influence on organizational commitment to employees of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru. The method used in this study is descriptive and quantitative using the SPSS 23. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Area Pekanbaru totaling 156 employees. The sample used was 61 employees conducted proportionally stratified random sampling as well as methods of collecting data through questionnaires and free interviews. The results of the analysis used the validity test, reliability test, determination test, simple linear regression test, multiple linear regression test, t test and F test. So that it can be concluded that organizational communication has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Pekanbaru Regional Office II, and organizational communication and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment at PT. Pegadaian (Persero) Kanwil II Pekanbaru. Keywords: Organizational Communication, Work Motivation and Organizational               Commitment.
