Abstract

This research examines the application of the syirkah contract in the profit-sharing system implemented at the As-Sunnah Islamic Religious College (STAI) Medan, which adopts the cooperative concept. As we know, conventional cooperatives today often contain practices of riba and gharar, which have been strictly prohibited by Allah ﷻ in the Quran and the hadith of the Prophet ﷺ. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the syirkah contract within the structure of the STAI As-Sunnah cooperative and ensure its compliance with the principles of Islamic economic law. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with field research methods. (field research). Data were collected through interviews and direct observations of the parties involved in the STAI As-Sunnah cooperative. The research results show that the application of the syirkah contract in the STAI As-Sunnah cooperative includes the management of cooperative collaboration and its relevance to the principles of Islamic economic law governing the cooperative. This research provides a clear picture of the syirkah contract law and its implementation in the STAI As-Sunnah cooperative. From this research, it can be concluded that the syirkah contract has two forms, namely syirkah of ownership (like inheritance) and syirkah of contract, which consists of several types, namely syirkah mufawadhah, maal/'inan, abdan, wujuh, and mudharabah.

Abstract

The simultaneous regional head elections were over, but during the campaign until it was decided to become regional head there were many comments, both pro and contra. The city of Medan is one of the regions that will hold the 2020 ELECTION during the pandemic. The Medan City Election has decided that the pair Bobby Nasution and Aulia Rachman have won. This victory certainly gets a variety of comments on social media, especially Twitter. This study conducts sentiment analysis to see the sentiment that occurs, namely seeing negative, positive, or neutral comments. This sentiment analysis uses two methods to see the resulting accuracy, namely Support Vector Machine (SVM) and Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC). This study also looks at the interactions that occur using Social Network Analysis (SNA). In addition to sentiment analysis and SNA, this study also looks at the existence of BOT accounts used in the #PilkadaMedan. The results obtained from the sentiment analysis show that NBC has the highest accuracy, which is 81, 72% with a data proportion of 90:10. Then on SNA, the @YanHarahap account got the highest nodes, namely 911 nodes. Then from 10326 tweets, 11% were suspected of being BOT by the DroneEmprit Academic system.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the sentiment of hotel services based on customer reviews using the Extra Trees algorithm. This method was tested on a dataset containing customer reviews about hotel services. The evaluation is done by taking into account the accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score of the developed model. The results showed that the Extra Trees algorithm was able to achieve an accuracy of 85.05%, with a precision of 84.46%, a recall of 97.00%, and an F1 score of 90.17%. These findings indicate that the Extra Trees algorithm has good performance in analyzing hotel service sentiment based on customer reviews. The implication of this research is to provide guidance to hotels to understand and improve their service quality based on feedback from customers. In addition, this research can also be the basis for further development in the field of sentiment analysis and customer service in the tourism industry.

Abstract

The conflict between Palestine and Israel has generated strong debates and reactions on social media, including in Indonesia. Public perception of various aspects is certainly important to identify issues in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. However, the process of manually classifying aspects of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict requires human resources and considerable time. This research aims to explore the views of Indonesians on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict through sentiment analysis based on aspects of Territory, Religion, Politics, and History. Using deep learning technology, specifically a combination model of Convolutional Neural Networks with Long Short-Term Memory (CNN-LSTM), this research analyzes opinion and views data collected from X social media platform (Twitter). This research shows the results of the dataset obtained that the Political aspect dominates more than other aspects. The model evaluation results obtained an accuracy value of 96%, which indicates that the model's ability to classify X users' sentiments towards the Palestinian-Israeli conflict achieved a high level of success.

Abstract

The high nutritional value of maggots (Hermetia illucens) makes them a potential alternative feed for catfish through the practice of fish farming in buckets (Budikdamber). This research was conducted from September to March 2023 at the Agroecotechnology Experimental Garden, Trilogi University, Jakarta. The study consisted of two experimental sets, each using a one-factor Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD). The first experiment aimed to determine the most effective growth medium for maggots, consisting of four treatments: rice residue (L1), vegetable waste (L2), coconut pulp (L3), and a combination of rice residue, vegetable waste, and coconut pulp (L4). The results of this first experiment were used to establish the maggot cultivation procedure for the second experiment. The second experiment was designed to evaluate the effectiveness of maggots as feed in catfish and pakcoy cultivation using the Budikdamber system. This experiment involved three feed treatments: commercial pellets (P0), maggots (P1), and a combination of pellets and maggots in a 50:50 ratio (P2), across three planting periods (T) of pakcoy. The results showed that the combination of rice residue, vegetable waste, and coconut pulp was the most effective growth medium for the maggot fattening stage. Feeding catfish with maggots at both 50% and 100% proportions had no significant effect on the harvested length or weight of the fish, nor on the yield of pakcoy cultivated concurrently using the Budikdamber method. These findings indicate that maggots can serve as a viable alternative to commercial pellets in catfish farming.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program for educators within the Department of Education and Culture of Takalar Regency, as well as its supporting and inhibiting factors in the Department of Education and Culture of Takalar Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive research methods. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, with research subjects being the head of the department, division heads, and teachers. Data analysis was conducted through stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was tested using source and method triangulation. The results show that in terms of context, CPD aligns with the regional education conditions and serves as an important strategy to improve teachers' competence in pedagogy, professionalism, and the use of digital technology. In terms of input, CPD has an adequate operational foundation with competent facilitators. proportional budget, as well as curriculum-based materials using the latest curriculum through SIMPKB data verification. In terms of process, the implementation runs systematically with a clear schedule, varied methods, and activities such as IKM technical guidance, digitalization training, and literacy workshops, although teacher motivation and readiness still vary. In terms of product, PKB has a positive impact on improving teachers' pedagogical and professional competence, reflected in participation in SIMPKB, PPG, and changes to more interactive teaching behavior. Supporting factors include policies from the education office, facilitators, study groups, and school support, while obstacles include limited access for honorary teachers, administrative requirements for new teachers, varying motivation, and difficulties in technology mastery for senior teachers.
