Abstract

Hutan Geumpang merupakan salah satu kawasan hutan lindung yang berada di Kabupaten pidie juga tidakluput dari praktek  illegal loging,   baik yang dilakukan secara sembunyi-sembunyi maupun secara terang-terangan oleh berbagai oknum, sehingga kelestarian hutan wilayah tersebut terus teramcam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai-nilai kearifan lokal qanun daerah pedalaman Kecamatan Geumpang Kabupaten Pidie. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 1 Juni 2017 hingga 30 Juli 2017 di pedalaman Kecamatan Geumpang, Kabupaten Pidie, Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian menggunakan metode etnografi melalui Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mukim, Pawang Hutan, kepala Desa dan Masyarakat 10 orang di Kecamatan Geumpang Kabupaten Pidie, Ke semua unsur tersebut diperkirakan berjumlah 20 orang, jumlah sumber data tersebut bisa bertambah sesuai dengan data-data yang terkait pada saat pengumpulan data di lapangan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan hutan berbasis kearifan lokal terdapat pada aktivitas pengelolaan hutan, nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dalam anjuran dan larangan, serta kelembagaan adat. Potensi pengembangan hutan desa yaitu landasan hukum, dukungan LSM Lingkungan dan lembaga pengelola hutan desa. Persepsi dan sikap masyarakat terhadap pelaksanaan menunjukkan persepsi yang kuat dan sikap yang kuat ditunjukkan oleh masyarakat di tiga gampong; Bangkeh, Keunie, Pulo Lho. Namun, masyarakat Gampong, Pucok dan Leupue menunjukkan persepsi dan sikap lemah. Simpulan kearifan lokal terancam oleh kegiatan penambangan emas dan perambahan hutan tanpa izin. Masyarakat membutuhkan ekonomi alternatif yang tidak bergantung pada sumber daya hutan. Kata kunci: Illegal logging, Kearifan lokal, Geumpang

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research entitled Diversity and Suitability of Trees at Several Green Lines of Banda Aceh City Highway has been completed  in March-April 2019. The research aims to determine the trees species, the level of trees diversity, and the suitability of trees species at several green lines of Banda Aceh highway. This research belongs to the type of quantitative research. Determination of the sample location of the green line is done by purposive sampling, so we get 12 Banda Aceh city highways, each road used as an observation station. Data collection was carried out by the method of observation and quantitative data collection using a quadratic technique with subjective laying of plots. Data is collected by placing 3 plots at each station with the total number of plots is 36 plots. Each plot is 20x34 meters. The parameters in the study include the importance value (NP), species diversity index (H '), species composition index, species density index, and trees species suitability. The data in this study were analyzed descriptively. From the research that has been obtained, 25 species of trees consisting of 17 familia were planted at the Banda Aceh green highway observation station. Index of diversity of trees species in all observation stations H '= 2.67 included in the medium category. From 25 species of plants, only 3 trees species received a score of 50%, which was classified as inadequate, 14 trees species received a score of 60% -70% according to the category, and 8 other trees species were categorized very much in accordance with a score of 80% -100%.Keywords: Trees, importance, family, density, diversity.ABSTRAK            Penelitian yang berjudul Keanekaragaman dan Kesesuaian Jenis Pohon di Beberapa Jalur Hijau Jalan Raya Kota Banda Aceh telah dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret-April 2019. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis pohon, tingkat keanekaragaman pohon, dan kesesuaian jenis pohon yang ditanam di beberapa jalur hijau jalan raya kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam jenis penelitian kuantitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan  beberapa metode antara lain purposive sampling untuk menentuan sampel lokasi jalur hijau, sehingga diperoleh 12 jalan raya kota Banda Aceh yang masing-masing jalan dijadikan stasiun pengamatan, pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode obeservasi dan pengambilan sampel data kuantitatif menggunakan teknik kuadrat dengan peletakan petak ukur (plot) secara subjektif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan meletakkan 3 plot pada masing-masing stasiun dengan jumlah keseluruhan petak ukur adalah 36 plot. Masing-masing  plot berukuran 20x34 meter. Parameter dalam penelitian meliputi nilai penting (NP), indeks keanekaragaman jenis (H’), indeks komposisi jenis, indeks kerapatan jenis, dan kesesuaian jenis pohon. Data pada penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh 25 jenis pohon yang terdiri dari 17 Familia yang ditanam di stasiun pengamatan jalur hijau jalan raya kota Banda Aceh. Indeks Keanekaragaman spesies pohon di seluruh stasiun pengamatan H’ = 2,67 termasuk kategori sedang (medium). Dari 25 jenis pohon hanya 3 jenis pohon yang memperoleh skor 50% yang tergolong kategori kurang sesuai, 14 jenis pohon memperoleh skor 60%-70% berkategorikan sesuai, dan 8 jenis pohon lainnya berkategori sangat sesuai dengan skor 80%-100%.Kata Kunci: Pohon, nilai penting, familia, kerapatan, indeks keanekaragaman.

Abstract

 This research aims to determine the influence of papaya seed powder on the level of protein found in selar fish. This research is useful to gived information on the utilization papaya seeds as a natural ingredient to fresh fish to the community. This research was conducted for 4 months from Juli-October 2018, protein test conducted in the Food Analysis Laboratory of THP (Food Technology) study Program Faculty of Unsyiah Agriculture, Banda Aceh. The analysis used for protein testing is analysis of variants (ANOVA) whereas the data analysis technique used for data is completly randomited design (CRD) with six treatments and three times repeated. The concentration treatment of papaya seed powder also has a noticeable effect on fresh fish protein levels. Selar fish are given treatment with papaya seed powder with a concentration of 100% has a percentage of protein content as much as 15.32%Keywords: Selar Fish, papaya seed powder, protein level.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh serbuk biji pepaya terhadap kadar protein yang terdapat pada ikan selar. Manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu dapat memberikan informasi mengenai pemanfaatan biji pepaya sebagai bahan alami terhadap ikan selar segar kepada masyarakat. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama 4 bulan sejak bulan Juli-Oktober 2018, uji protein dilakukan di Laboratorium Analisis Pangan Program Studi THP (Teknologi Hasil Pangan) Fakultas Pertanian Unsyiah, Banda Aceh. Analisis yang digunakan untuk uji protein adalah analisis varian (ANAVA) sedangkan teknik analisis data yang digunakan untuk data adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan enam perlakuan dan tiga kali ulangan. Perlakuan konsentrasi serbuk biji pepaya juga berpengaruh nyata pada kadar protein ikan selar segar. Ikan selar yang diberi perlakuan dengan serbuk biji pepaya dengan konsentrasi 100% memiliki persentase kadar protein sebanyak 15,32%.Kata kunci: Ikan selar, serbuk biji pepaya, kadar protein

Abstract

The study entitled Application of the Team Quiz Model to the Material of the Human Food Digestion System to Improve Student Learning Outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh was conducted in November 2016. The purpose of this study was to investigate the application of the Team Quiz to the material of the human food digestion system. at SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Data collection was carried out twice, namely Pre-test and Post-test. This research approach is quantitative. The design of this experiment uses the Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. The sample of this study for the control class is students of class VIII-6 and the experimental class is students of class VIII-7. The data in this study were analyzed by t test, with a significance level α = 0.05. The results of the analysis of the average value of Pre-test 42.62 in the control class, 41.48 for the experimental class. While the Post-test mean value of 77.76 in the control class, 87.66 for the experimental class. Based on the above calculation, tcount ttable is 3.68. 1.6 so that h0 is rejected. Keywords: Team Quiz, Improving Learning Outcomes, Food Digestion System Penelitian yang berjudul Penerapan Model Team Quiz  Pada Materi Sistem Pencernaan Makanan Manusia untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa di SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh telah dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2016. Tujuan pada penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan Team Quiz  pada materi sistem pencernaan makanan manusia hasil belajar siswa meningkat di SMP Negeri 2 Banda Aceh. Pengumpulan data dilakukan sebanyak dua kali, yaitu Pre-test  dan Post-test. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Bentuk desain eksperimen ini  menggunakan Pre-test Post-test Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian ini untuk kelas kontrol adalah adalah siswa kelas VIII-6 dan kelas eksperimen adalah siswa kelas VIII-7. Data pada penelitian ini dianalisis dengan uji t, yaitu dengan taraf signifikan α = 0,05. Hasil analisis nilai rata-rata Pre-test 42,62 pada kelas control, 41,48 untuk kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata Post-test 77,76 pada kelas kontrol, 87,66 untuk kelas ekperimen. Berdasarkan perhitungan diatas diperoleh thitung ttabel yaitu 3,68 . 1,6 sehingga h0 di tolak.      Kata Kunci : Team Quiz, Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar, Sistem Pencernaan Makanan

Abstract

Scientific studies on buffalo feed preferences (Bubalus bubalis Linn.) Are still lacking. Feed preference is the degree of preference for certain types of feed chosen by animals. This study aims to identify the types of feed plants consumed by buffalo, and to determine the level of buffalo feed preferences in the grazing area, Bukit District, Bener Meriah Regency. Collection of preference data is done by exploratory method and data collection is done by field survey. The research location is divided into three stations. Station I (grasslands), Station II (shrubs), and Station III (forest habitat). Feed preferences were analyzed using the Predation Index (IP) formula. Based on the results of the study found 23 species of feed plants that are included in 11 families. Species of plants that have a high level of preference are Eleusine indica (1.21), Axonopus compressus (1.19), and Sporobulus indicus (1.18) and forage plants that have low preferences, namely Musa paradisiaca (0.67), Sida rhombifolia (0.75), and Clinacanthus nutans (0.79).Keywords: Preferences, Types of Feed Plants, BuffaloKajian ilmiah tentang preferensi pakan kerbau (Bubalus bubalis Linn.) masih kurang dilakukan. Preferensii pakan adalah derajat kesukaan terhadap jenis pakan tertentui yangi dipilih hewan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis-jenis tumbuhan pakan yang dikonsumsi oleh kerbau, dan mengetahui tingkat preferensi pakan kerbau di kawasan penggembalaan, Kecamatan Bukit, Kabupaten Bener Meriah. Pengumpulan data preferensi dilakukan dengan metode jelajah (eksploratif) dan pengambilan data dilakukan dengan cara survei lapangan. Lokasi penelitian terbagi menjadi tiga stasiun. Stasiun I (padang rumput), Stasiun II (semak belukar), dan Stasiun III (habitat hutan). Preferensi pakan dianalisis menggunakan rumus Indeks Pemangsaan (IP). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ditemukan 23 jenis tumbuhan pakan yang termasuk kedalam 11 familia. Jenis tumbuhan pakan yang memiliki tingkat preferensi tinggi yaitu Eleusine indica (1,21), Axonopus compressus (1,19), dan Sporobulus indicus (1,18) dan tumbuhan pakan yang memiliki preferensi rendah yaitu Musa paradisiaca (0,67), Sida rhombifolia (0,75), dan Clinacanthus nutans (0,79).Kata Kunci: Preferensi, Jenis Tumbuhan Pakan, Kerbau

Abstract

A study on Bamboo Ethnobotany has been conducted at Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar on June 10, 2010 to June 20, 2010. The aims of this study are to determine the types of bamboo and its utilization at Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar. The method used is observation. The data analyzed in this study were descriptive and displayed in figures and tables form. The parameters observed were the types of bamboo plants and its utilization by the people of Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar. The results showed that there were 6 types of bamboo at Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar, namely Bambusa arundinacea and Dendrocalamus asper, as their use for making household furniture and other building materials. The type of Bambusa vulgaris used from its bamboo shoots as a treatment for hepatitis. Types of Bambusa ventricosa and Dracaena surculosa are used as ornamental plants and home gardening plants. Type of Scizostachyum branchycladum which is used for making lemang. There are four genera namely Bambusa, Dendrocalamus, Scizotachyum, and Dracaena. The dominant type of bamboo that grows in the Darul Imarah, Aceh Besar is the Bambusa arundinacea type.

Abstract

The forest area in Pidie District was decreased by illegal logging, forest conversion, mining and road construction without regard to environmental aspects.This study aims to (1) knewabout local wisdom in Qanun Mukim Lutueng about forest management (2) knew the potential development of community forest in Mukim Lutueng (3) analyzed the community perceptions and behaviours about forest conservation. This study was conducted on 1 October 2015 to 30 April 2016in Mukim Lutueng, Pidie District, Aceh Province. The research method is ethnography with Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA). The result shown thatLocal wisdom in forest management consist of the law in forest activities management, suggestion and prohibition, and local community of forest management. The potential development of community forest support by civil society organizations (NGOs) with community empowerment and government community institution. Perceptions and behaviours towards qanun implementation and community forest in Mukim Lutueng was strong perceptions and with strong attitudes especially shown by community people in three villages; Mane, Lutueng and Blang Dalam. Meanwhile, the communitypeople of Turue Cut showed the weak level of perceptions and attitudes towards the qanun implementation and community forest in Mukim Lutueng. The community law (qanun) threatened by illegal gold mining activities and illegal logging. Community people need an alternative economythat does not rely on the resources of the forest.

Abstract

This research was conducted from April 2020 to October 2020 entitled "Diversity of Tree Species at Syiah Kuala University". The data collection technique was performed through a survey of 21 observation plots including faculties, office units, worship facilities, health facilities and other supporting facilities. The data analysis includes the Important Value (NP) and Species Diversity Index (H'). The results showed that the species composition of trees growing on the campus of Syiah Kuala University were 46 species belonging to 27 families. Six tree species that had relatively high importance value compared to others, namely Pterocarpus indicus (19.61%), Swietenia mahagoni (19.56%), Polyathia longifolia (12.76%), Mimusops elengi (12.48%), Roystonia regia (12.27%), and Samanea saman (10.176%). The Diversity Index (H') of those tree species ranged from 1.549 to 2.634. The conclusion is that the tree species composition was relatively limited when compared to the Cronquist classification, and the tree species diversity index was in the medium category.

Abstract

Care is one of the results of the attention of an event or a learning process that occurs naturally. Concern for the environment is expressed in the form of verbal action. This study aims to improve the action of caring for the environment through the implementation of problem based learning model on the material of environmental pollution . This study was a descriptive study. The instrument used in this study was enclosed questionnaire with Likert scale that consisted of 20 questions, including 13 positive questions and 7 negative questions to improve the concerned action to the environment.The results of action caringconcerned about the environment, it was found thatthere was 70% of positive statement with strongly agree category, 68% of negative statement catagorized as strongly disagree. Thus, it can be concluded that the development of PBI model on the topic of environmental pollution could improve the action concerned to the environment.

Abstract

This study aimed at figuring out the increase of student thinking skills through the preparation of questions. The population of the research was all of four-semester students of Biology Department of Teacher Training and Education (Tarbiyah) Faculty of IAIN Ar-Raniry in academic year 2012/2013. The sample then selected 29 students. The method used was experimental research. The researcher taught by using Questioning Reading and Answering learning model. Students are asked to read the course topic and then prepare substantial questions from the reading. The assigned materials were Bryophyta and Pteridophyta. The test of thinking skill followed the rubric of knowledge dimensions and cognitive process dimensions of Anderson and Karthwohl. The results showed an increase in thinking ability of students toward the higher level thinking ability. Thus the application of the Reading Questioning and Answering model can improve thinking ability of students in Botany Cryptogamae course.
