Abstract

Abstrak— Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan terbesar di dunia dengan luas wilayah sekitar 1.904.569 km2 dan garis pantai sepanjang 54.716 km. Pada Era Industri 4.0 ini, Energi Listrik merupakan kebutuhan primer bagi seluruh masyarakat untuk menunjang segala aktivitas dan kehidupan mereka. Salah satu pulau yang masih belum dialiri listrik secara maksimal yaitu Pulau Nusa Penida di Kabupaten Klungkung, Provinsi Bali. Pada penelitian ini penulis membuat suatu sistem simulasi pembangkit listrik tenaga hybrid di pulau Nusa Penida. Sistem ini merupakan gabungan dari pembangkit listrik tenaga bayu, dan pembangkit listrik tenaga surya menggunakan software HOMER Dalam penelitian ini menghasilkan opsi PLTH (Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Hybrid) optimal yang berpotensi dapat dibangun di wilayah Kecamatan Nusa Penida, yaitu berkapasitas 11,9 MW, PLTS berkapasitas 3,5 MW, BESS berkapasitas 3 MW, dan berkapasitas 4 MW. Berdasarkan total hasil analisis perhitungan biaya energi yang telah didapatkan dari PLTH, hasil LCC sebesar $62.358.890, PBP menunjukkan bahwa dibutuhkan waktu selama 11,6 tahun untuk mengembalikan modal investasi keseluruhan. Kemudian perhitungan analisis kelayakan investasi yang telah dilakukan, menunjukkan nilai NPV sebesar $35.589.268,96. Nilai Profit Index adalah 7,53, dan nilai IRR 37,38%. Dengan seluruh hasil tersebut, menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan PLTH yang ada di Nusa Penida dapat memberikan keuntungan. Kata kunci— pulau nusa penida, pembangkit listrik tenaga hybrid, homer

Abstract

Hasil dari pengereman regeneratif membutuhkan tempat penyimpanan berupa baterai agar dapat digunakan kembali pada waktu tertentu. Baterai merupakan salah satu media penyimpan energi listrik yang umum digunakan dan memiliki berbagai ketentuan sesuai kebutuhan. Untuk menghindari terjadinya overcharge dan overdischarge pada baterai, dibutuhkan sistem monitoring baterai agar dapat melakukan pengisian dan pengosongan dengan aman. Pada penelitian ini dirancang alat ukur monitoring baterai yang dapat mengukur nilai estimasi State of Charge (SOC) baterai. Pengujian ini akan menggunakan metode Open Circuit Voltage (OCV) untuk memperoleh estimasi SOC awal baterai, kemudian menggunakan metode Coulomb Counting (CC) untuk estimasi SOC pada saat pengisian baterai. Dari hasil penelitian ini, ketika nilai kecepatan mesin untuk tegangan masukan semakin besar, maka waktu pengisian, muatan yang masuk ke baterai, dan perubahan estimasi SOC(t) semakin besar. Saat nilai kecepatan mesin 382 RPM, tidak terjadi pengisian pada baterai karena tidak ada arus yang mengalir ke baterai. Sedangkan hasil terbesar diperoleh saat nilai kecepatan mesin 1538 RPM dengan waktu pengisian 0,007584611 jam atau 2,73045996 detik dengan muatan yang masuk sebesar 0,3807 Coulomb dan menghasilkan pertambahan nilai estimasi SOC(t) sebesar 0,2115% pada baterai. Abstract

Jumlah sumber energi terbarukan yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat Indonesia sangat luar biasa. Namun, masih sedikit sekali pemanfaatan sumber energi terbarukan ini. Peran aktif dalam masyarakat sangatlah diperlukan untuk memaksimalkan pemanfaatan energi terbarukan secara maksimal terutama dalam hal penggunaannya. Adapun di daerah Pangalengan, Jawa Barat ini sendiri pemanfaatan energi terbarukannya dapat bersumber dari energi surya. Diperlukanlah pembinaan kepada masyarakat mengenai pemanfaatan energi surya beserta dengan besarnya potensi yang dapat diperoleh dalam pemanfaatannya. Pembinaan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat dapat berupa pengetahuan dasar mengenai konversi energi dari surya menjadi listrik yang diikuti dengan adanya praktik sederhana. Hal ini bertujuan agar masyarakat dapat memahami terkait energi surya ini secara keseluruhan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyakat yang dilakukan merupakan penyuluhan terkait sistem monitoring pembangkit listrik teanag surya di MA Ishlahul Amanah. Kegiatan berjalan dengan lancar dan peserta sangat antusias. Hal ini terlihat dari kepuasan dalam menjawab kuesioner peserta sangat setuju dengan kegiatan yang telah dilakukan.Kata Kunci: energi terbarukan; PLTS; konversi energi; energi surya; monitoring

Abstract

Purpose: The students of MA Islahul Amanah are the next generation of the nation who must take their steps to reach the future. Most of them have constraints in terms of costs to continue on to higher education. Thus, a motivation or direction is needed for MA Ishlahul Amanah students about entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is the right alternative choice to overcome unemployment. This is to encourage them to be more independent after completing their school education. At least they are not a burden to their parents, but can help their family's economy Methodology/approach: The methods used are: (1) condition survey; (2) team conciliation to discuss the activities carried out; (3) preparation to determine the implementation time and equipment to be prepared; (4) implementing activities by conducting online entrepreneurship training; (5) evaluation of activities to measure the achievement of activities with a questionnaire. Results/findings: Participants receive tips on building start-ups, namely innovating business ideas, creating business models, raising capital, inviting like-minded people to maintain service/product quality and "don't give up". Apart from that, they also gain knowledge and experience related to what the speaker has experienced because the material provided is also based on their own experience. This activity was also well achieved based on the results of the questionnaire which achieved an average percentage of agreeing is 77.33% and the percentage strongly agreeing is 20%. Conclusion: Community Service Activities with activities in the form of entrepreneurship training to increase interest in entrepreneurship for MA Ishlahul Amanah students run smoothly and goals are achieved. This can be seen from the results of the questionnaire, the participants chose to agree and strongly agree with the program being carried out because it met the needs of the participants.

Abstract

The community service program from Telkom University aims to improve the ability and insight of learning technology using Camtasia Studio at SMPN 1 Baleendah. The method used in community service is a form of training or workshops where the participants, in this case are teachers, are given training for a maximum of 3 hours, instructors in this case are from Telkom University. The stages carried out in this training are broadly as follows: The stages of making or recording material content, the editing or editing stages of material content and the stages of uploading learning material content. Participation by partners is in the form of providing space, infrastructure such as laptops or computers (computer laboratory recommendations), internet networks, and teachers’ resources to be given Camtasia Studio training. Based on the results of the initial survey it was found that 15% had experience in making interactive videos by using programs other than Camtasia studio, and as many as 85% of the teachers are inexperienced in making interactive videos because they only use learning media based on whatsapps, zoom and google classroom. After the training, there was an increase in the skill level of making interactive videos for all participants. As many as 75% of the teachers strongly agree regarding the suitability of the programs held with the aim of carrying out activities. Lecturers and students are stated to be more friendly, faster and responsive in helping during the practical activities of creating interactive video content using Camtasia studio.

Abstract

There are some problems in optimization that cannot be derived mathematically. Various methods have been developed to solve the optimization problem with various functional forms, whether differentiated or not, to overcome the problem, which are known as artificial methods such as artificial neural networks, particle swarm optimization, and genetic algorithms. In the literature, it is said that there is an artificial method that frequently falls to the minimum local solution. The local minimum results are proof that the artificial method is not accurate. This paper proposes the Large to Small Area Technique for power system optimization, which works based on reducing feasible areas. This method can work accurately, which that never violates all constraints in reaching the optimal point. However, to conclude that this method is superior to others, logical arguments and tests with mathematical simulations are needed. This proposed method has been tested with 24 target points using ten functions consisting of a quadratic function and a first-order function. The results showed that this method has an average accuracy of 99.97% and an average computation time of 62 seconds. The proposed technique can be an alternative in solving the economic dispatch problem in the power system.

Abstract

A smart grid aims to integrate alternative and renewable energy sources. NDN has the advantage of being better than IP networks and can optimize the delivery of information. The concept of Named Data Networking (NDN) is designed for smart grid systems. This study aims to implement the NDN concept on a smart grid system and analyze forwarding and caching strategies. The implementation of the system strategy is supported using the NDN network topology, which is based on IEEE 39. The author evaluates network performance by paying attention to parameters such as delay and cache hit ratio. From the data the author obtained, it can be concluded that the best route-LRU and client control-LRU systems are better choices to be implemented in a smart grid communication system than the best route-FIFO and client control-FIFO systems. In other words, the LRU caching override method is superior to the FIFO caching override method. Meanwhile, the forwarding method does not show significant graphical results. This happens because the forwarding method that the authors use has the same route determination. Something that differentiates between the best route and client control is only the control of selecting the path. The best route is controlled by the producer, and client control is controlled by the consumer.

Abstract

Sumber Daya Energi Terbarukan (EBT) yang memanfaatkan air adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Piko Hidro (PLTPh), yang cocok untuk daerah terpencil yang tidak terjangkau oleh jaringan listrik nasional. Namun, PLTPh menghadapi beberapa tantangan, termasuk masalah lokasi yang sulit diakses, biaya pembangunan yang tinggi, dan kekurangan tenaga kerja terampil di bidang tersebut. Untuk mengatasi kekurangan tenaga kerja terampil di bidang PLTPh, salah satu solusi yang dapat diimplementasikan adalah pengembangan "Emulator PLTPh." Emulator PLTPh adalah simulasi interaktif yang memungkinkan masyarakat umum, termasuk pelajar, untuk mempelajari sistem, cara kerja, dan fungsi dari Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Piko Hidro. Emulator PLTPh akan memberikan informasi tentang prinsip dasar operasi PLTPh, komponen yang diperlukan, dan cara mengatur produksi listrik sesuai permintaan.Salah satu bagian dari emulator PLTPh adalah Electronic Load Controller (ELC), sebuah perangkat yang dapat mengalihkan energi berlebih yang dihasilkan oleh generator ke beban komplementer jika penggunaan beban utama lebih rendah, untuk menjaga frekuensi pada 50 Hz. Emulator ini akan menyediakan platform yang aman dan terkendali untuk menguji berbagai skenario tanpa perlu mengoperasikan sistem sebenarnya.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah agar emulator ini dapat digunakan untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas sumber daya manusia dengan cara meningkatkan pengalaman belajar yang interaktif dan menarik bagi para mahasiswa. Selain itu, penggunaan emulator ini diharapkan dapat membantu peningkatan dan efisiensi sistem PLTPh menggunakan selokan untuk pengairan sawah dan kebun sayuran dan mengaplikasikannya untuk lampu penerangan jalan di Kec. Gununghalu, Kabupaten Bandung Barat, Jawa Barat.

Abstract

The use of rechargeable batteries for electrical energy storage requires a voltage balancing system. The voltage balancing system requires monitoring in the use of rechargeable batteries so that they can be utilized properly and can improve the electrical energy storage system. In this research, a monitored lead acid battery voltage balancing system was designed so that the management of the battery voltage balance level and the storage of electrical energy in rechargeable batteries can be stored and used optimally. In this research a series of lead acid battery voltage detection and power dissipation circuits were designed. The power dissipation circuit uses the controlled shunt resistor method which is used when the voltage of the lead acid battery being charged exceeds the maximum voltage. This method is easy to implement and can display the value of the lead acid battery voltage and other parameters, so that it can be monitored by the user. The results obtained show that the average voltage error for batteries 1 and 2 is 0.09% and 0.3% respectively. The power dissipation circuit can dissipate lead acid battery power above the reference voltage VREF=±7 V, with a balanced voltage of 6.8 V at 140 minutes and 160 minutes.

Abstract

The use of ground tank constructed by Telkom University for Rainwater Harvesting (RWH), is limited to environmental maintenance due to concerns regarding the quality of water in the underground tank. Therefore, this research aims to develop a remote monitoring device that uses Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor the pH, water surface, submerged materials, and water clarity levels in ground tank. To achieve the requirements, pH, ultrasonic-based volume, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS), and Turbidity sensors were selected due to the IoT connectivity. The enabling device, namely the ESP 32 microcontroller and Blynk platform were installed on monitoring dashboard on a tablet computer with 4GB of RAM. The result showed that calibration of each sensor had good accuracy, except for the Turbidity sensor due unavailable materials. In conclusion, the RWH monitoring system is suitable for use.
