Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penggunaan finger painting multisensorik sebagai media pembelajaran dalam mengakselerasi kreativitas anak usia dini di RA Ar-Rozzaq Bluto Sumenep. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus dengan melibatkan 15 anak usia 4-6 tahun, lima pendidik, dan orang tua siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara semi-terstruktur, dan dokumentasi selama 2 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan finger painting multisensorik efektif dalam mengembangkan kreativitas anak dalam aspek eksplorasi warna, pembentukan pola, koordinasi motorik halus, dan kepercayaan diri. Aktivitas ini juga mendukung perkembangan kognitif, bahasa, sosial, dan emosional anak. Meski menghadapi tantangan keterbatasan sarana, sekolah berhasil mengembangkan solusi melalui pemanfaatan sumber daya lokal dan sistem rotasi kelompok.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the formation of the character "Abhekteh" (devotion) for children in the care of Kyai families in Madura. The concept of "Abhekteh" is a cultural and religious value that underlies the behavior of devotion to parents and elders, which is highly respected in Madurese society. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological approach to explore the formation of the character of abhekteh (devotion) in children in the care of the families of Madurese kyai with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research respondents consisted of kyai families, consisting of fathers (kyai) and mothers (nyai). Data analysis was carried out thematically to understand the mechanism of internalization of Abhekteh values ​​in everyday life. The results of the study indicate that parenting practices in Madurese kyai families to form abhekteh (devotion) characters in children is a complex and multidimensional process. The approach used tends to be authoritative, combining firmness in instilling abhekteh values ​​with warmth and open communication. The main methods used include role models, habituation, dialogue, reflection, and involvement in social activities. The implications of these parenting practices include the internalization of deep moral values ​​in children, the development of emotional and spiritual intelligence, the formation of a strong cultural identity, increased ability to adapt to changing times, the development of social and leadership skills, and the strengthening of family ties and social cohesion of the community.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi pembelajaran transformatif dalam menumbuhkan jiwa entrepreneurship pada anak usia dini di TK Al Falah Surabaya. Metode penelitian melibatkan wawancara dengan guru dan kepala sekolah, observasi, dan dokumentasi dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dalam penentuan sumber data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran transformatif di PAUD Ramah Anak, (TK Al-Falah Surabaya), dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan berbasis sentra (BCCT). Anak usia dini aktif terlibat dalam proses pembelajaran, sedangkan peran guru lebih sebagai fasilitator. Kegiatan transformatif seperti Cooking Class, Market Day, Sedekah dan Outing Class menjadi sarana utama dalam membentuk karakter kewirausahaan, termasuk kemandirian, keberanian, dan kreativitas, pada anak usia dini.

Abstract

Menumbuhkan minat baca sangat diperlukan untuk dilakukan sejak usia dini, selain anak sedang memiliki kegemaran dalam membaca, anak usia dini masih belum dipengaruhi budaya-budaya dan prilaku negatif dari lingkungannya. Menumbuhkan minat baca anak bisa dimulai dari lingkungan keluarga, dan dapat didukung melalui program-program sekolah yang berhubungan dengan kegiatan menumbuhkan minat baca anak. Tujuan dari penelitan ini adalah untuk mengetahui upaya-upaya yang dilakukan oleh TK At-Taufiqiyah Aengbajaraja Bluto Sumenep dalam rangka menumbuhkan minat baca anak usia dini melalui program budaya literasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam peneltian ini adalah kualitatif. Adpun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik observasi, teknik wawancara dan dokumentasi. Sedangkan analisis datanya menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa program budaya literasi dapat meningkatkan minat baca anak usia dini. Adapun upaya-upaya atau wujud konkrit dari budaya litrasi yang digunakan untuk mengembngkan minat baca anak usia dini diantaranya adalah melakukan kunjungan pustaka, kegiatan Satu Hari Satu Cerita, Stimulasi Literasi Anak dan melakukan kunjungan Toko Buku.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of educational game tools in developing fine motor skills among early childhood students at Kemala Bhayangkari 80 Sampang Kindergarten. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, it involved 15 children (ages 4-6), five teachers, and three parents over a six-month period through observations, interviews, and document analysis. Findings show that tools like plasticine, building blocks, puzzles, finger painting, picture books, and beading each uniquely support fine motor skills such as finger strength, coordination, and creative control. An average improvement of 40-45 points per tool type was observed. This study highlights the importance of a structured educational game-based curriculum, ongoing teacher training, and school-family collaboration to maximize tool efficacy. Future research is recommended to explore the long-term impact of educational game tools on children’s academic performance and to assess the potential of technology-enhanced tools for fine motor skill development.

Abstract

The digitalization of a wide range of information poses a significant challenge in the current era, especially concerning the integration of Islamic values in early childhood education. This research delves into the Islamic education of young children within familial settings during the digital age, utilizing a "library research" methodology. Generally, digital technology offers a dual-edged nature. The advantages of such technology lie in its capacity to simplify access to information and assist educators in creating digital-based educational content. However, on the downside, it also provides children with easier access to potentially harmful content that may be inappropriate for their age. Islamic education for young children in a family context during this digital epoch must address the evolving dynamics of the times while implementing positive and transformative approaches. To achieve this, several initiatives can be adopted within the family: developing an understanding of child growth stages, being informed of the educational content being conveyed, particularly regarding Islamic teachings, mastering the ability to regulate the digital platforms frequently accessed by children, and leveraging digital media as a valuable tool for education within the home setting. This research contributes an understanding and methodology for preserving Islamic values within the family sphere while navigating the complexities of the digital age. It highlights the importance of balancing technological advancements with foundational religious teachings in early childhood instruction.

Abstract

Purpose – This study investigates how Kiai families in Sumenep, Madura, mediate digital technology in early childhood parenting through value-based filtering grounded in Islamic traditions.Design/methods/approach –  An ethnographic study with phenomenological sensitivity was conducted over four months. Data were collected through participatory observation of five kiai families and in-depth interviews with ten key informants (five kiai and five nyai). Thematic analysis was employed, involving open coding, axial coding, and interpretive synthesis to identify patterns of technology negotiation.Findings – Kiai families predominantly refused children's ownership of personal digital devices, prioritising direct parent-child interaction and physical play. Technology access was filtered through religious considerations, with children exposed only to pre-selected Islamic content under strict parental supervision. However, enforcement remained inconsistent due to practical constraints, and indirect exposure through extended family networks produced observable behavioural changes, including adoption of digital expressions, reduced participation in religious routines, and shifts from active to passive play. Nyai reported greater stress in managing boundary violations, revealing gendered dimensions of mediation labour. Interpretations of problematic change were contested across kiai, nyai, and non-kiai informants.Research implications/limitations – This study demonstrates that resistance to digital parenting reflects value-based negotiation rather than technological illiteracy, challenging dominant digital parenting frameworks widely used in scholarship worldwide. By introducing negotiated mediation, the study extends parental mediation theory by foregrounding religious authority and culturally embedded conceptions of childhood as analytically significant. Limitations include the small sample size, cultural specificity of the pesantren context in Sumenep, the four-month observation period, and potential researcher bias. Findings may not be directly transferable to other religious or non-religious settings.Practical implications – Community-based digital parenting programmes should integrate religious perspectives and involve local religious leaders to increase acceptance. Educational interventions must balance digital literacy with the preservation of community values rather than imposing universal models. Originality/value – This study introduces negotiated mediation as an analytical framework explaining how religious authority shapes parental responses to digitalisation through dialectical processes between Islamic values and technological realities. It addresses a gap in the digital parenting literature by foregrounding perspectives from a religiously conservative community, thereby challenging urban-centric and secular assumptions in existing research.Paper type Research paper
