Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 telah merubah kegiatan pembelajaran yang biasanya dilakukan disekolah terpaksa dirumah secara dalam jaringan. Perubahan metode pembelajaran ini menimbulkan berbagai kesulitan yang dialami siswa dan guru. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui kesulitan-kesulitan belajar dalam pembelajaran daring pada siswa di SMK Negeri 1 Beringin selama masa pandemi Covid-19. Metode penelitian adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian dilakukan bulan November 2020 – Januari 2021. Populasi adalah seluruh siswa dan guru yang mengajar kelas XI Tata Boga dengan total sampel sebanyak 64 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner yang disebar melalui google form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa menghadapi beberapa kesulitan dalam pembelajaran daring. Kesulitan-kesulitan dapat dilihat dari aspek siswa, lingkungan dan fasilitas yang tersedia, serta proses pembelajaran. Rendahnya motivasi dalam pembelajaran daring, kendala teknis yang mempengaruhi signal, ketidak mampuan dalam pembelajaran online, interaksi yang minim selama proses pembelajaran sehingga siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami materi serta tugas yang tidak dimengerti dalam pembelajaran online

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of women's roles in preserving traditional foods in the culinary industry. Traditional food not only serves as a cultural identity but also holds significant economic potential. Women often act as guardians of culinary traditions through their expertise, innovation, and the application of cultural values in production processes. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach focusing on several local culinary industry practitioners. The findings reveal that women play a central role in sustaining traditional recipes, enhancing creativity in presentation, and expanding market access through modern marketing strategies. In conclusion, women's contributions to preserving traditional foods positively impact cultural sustainability and the development of the culinary industry. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh peran perempuan dalam melestarikan makanan tradisional di industri kuliner. Makanan tradisional tidak hanya menjadi identitas budaya, tetapi juga memiliki potensi ekonomi yang signifikan. Perempuan sering kali menjadi penjaga tradisi kuliner melalui keahlian, inovasi, dan penerapan nilai-nilai budaya dalam proses produksi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus pada beberapa pelaku industri kuliner lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan memiliki peran sentral dalam menjaga keberlanjutan resep tradisional, meningkatkan kreativitas dalam penyajian, serta memperluas akses pasar melalui strategi pemasaran modern. Kesimpulannya, kontribusi perempuan dalam pelestarian makanan tradisional berdampak positif terhadap keberlanjutan budaya dan perkembangan industri kuliner.

Abstract

In daily life, we often overlook cleanliness and sanitation aspects, both in household environments and industrial settings, including food production and service. However, poor sanitation can lead to serious negative impacts, such as foodborne illnesses. Several cases of food poisoning involving pathogenic bacteria such as Salmonella, Escherichia coli, and Listeria are frequently associated with insufficient attention to sanitation in food handling. A lack of understanding or awareness about the importance of hygiene can exacerbate this situation, increasing public health risks. This study aims to examine the role of sanitation in maintaining the quality of food ingredients, the impact of sanitation implementation on food safety, and effective sanitation practices in food production and service processes. Proper sanitation at every stage of food production is crucial to prevent microbial contamination that can degrade quality and endanger consumer health. The study employs a qualitative method, using in-depth interviews with 10 culinary arts students from the 2022 cohort. The findings indicate that sanitation in production processes, such as cleaning raw materials and cooking utensils, significantly affects the quality of the food produced. Good sanitation practices can prevent cross-contamination, enhance food hygiene, and ensure safe consumption. Effective sanitation practices include thorough cleaning procedures for equipment and proper management of raw materials at every stage of production to serving. This research recommends that the food industry strengthen knowledge and implementation of sanitation practices, improve hygiene monitoring, and invest in better sanitation equipment to maintain food quality and safety.

Abstract

Brawl is a negative interaction and has fatal consequences. Brawl between students nowadays is a very annoying problem of order and security in the surrounding environment. Interschool student brawls seem to have become a black spot in the world of education in Indonesia. According to the records of the National Commission for Child Protection (Komnas PA), the incidence of fights during the year 2011 has claimed 82 lives, not including the wounded. Each year the fight was not the case on the wane, but it is growing. Brawl  between students arise as a result of excessive solidarity , as a result of mental thuggery, internal factors ( lack of religious upbringing, the influence of friends), and external factors (lack of parental and economic factors), are all factors brawl between students. Education in the family (parents) are very important as a basic foundation that forms the character of the child from the beginning. The role of parents is not only limited to instill norms of early life. They should continue to play an active role, especially when the children hit their teens, where these kids started looking for identity. 1) Building the Moral Development of the Child, 2) Parents follow the development of children's moral behavior, 3) Establish good communication with children, 4)  Keeping family harmony, 5) Giving the correct approach to religion, and 6) As a true Mediator.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between learning Motivation and conventional teaching methods on students' learning outcomes in Civic Education. The research employed a quantitative approach with a correlational design. Data were collected through questionnaires designed to measure learning motivation, applying conventional teaching methods, and students' learning outcomes. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression and correlation analysis. The results revealed a significant positive relationship between learning Motivation and students' learning outcomes and a significant relationship between conventional teaching methods and students' outcomes. Learning Motivation enhances student engagement, enthusiasm, and overall learning quality. Meanwhile, while effective, conventional teaching methods can be further enhanced by integrating interactive approaches such as group discussions or visual media. The implications of this study highlight the need for teachers to design teaching strategies that are relevant to students' needs and capable of continuously motivating them. A combination of strong learning motivation and optimal implementation of conventional teaching methods is believed to effectively support students' academic success. Therefore, these factors should primarily focus on developing school learning strategies for better outcomes.

Abstract

Penyakit diare merupakan salah satu penyakit infeksi saluran pencernaan yang menjadi masalah kesehatan di dunia termasuk Indonesia. Bayi yang mendapat MPASI sebelum usia 6 bulan lebih banyak terserang diare. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang MPASI dan pemberian MPASI dini dengan kejadian diare. Desain penelitian Cross Sectional, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Posyandu Desa Rumah Berastagi. Populasi penelitian adalah ibu yang mempunyai bayi 0-6 bulan dan sampel penelitian yaitu ibu yang mempunyai bayi 0-6 bulan yang rutin ke Posyandu selama 2 bulan sebanyak 42 orang. Instrumen data yang digunakan adalah kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu tentang MPASI dan pemberian MPASI dini dengan kejadian diare pada bayi 0-6 bulan di Desa Rumah Berastagi dengan nilai  p-value <0,05 dan variabel pemberian MPASI dini menjadi variabel paling dominan yang berhubungan dengan kejadian diare pada bayi 0-6 bulan dimana nilai OR 23,895 (95% CI 1.717 “ 332.585) artinya ibu yang memberikan MPASI dini dapat menyebabkan kejadian diare pada bayi 0-6 bulan 23,895 kali dibandingkan dengan  ibu yang tidak memberikan MPASI dini kepada bayinya. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dan pemberian MPASI dini dengan kejadian diare pada bayi 0-6 bulan di Desa Rumah Berastagi. Kata Kunci: Diare, MPASI Dini, Pengetahuan

Abstract

Anak usia sekolah mempunyai peranan yang sangat besar dalam menentukan masa depan bangsa namun kelompok ini merupakan salah satu kelompok rentan masalah gizi. Berdasarkan observasi yang dilakukan di desa Bagan Asahan Pekan, status gizi kurang pada anak sekolah dasar sebesar 11% dan diatas rata-rata nasional. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis hubungan asupan protein dan pola makan dengan status gizi anak keluarga nelayan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional, dan dilakukan di Desa Bagan Asahan Pekan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, sampel sebanyak 73 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner Semi Quantitativ Food Frequency Questionnaire, status gizi dengan mengukur berat badan dan tinggi badan. Analisis data menggunakan uji rank spearman dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan asupan protein siswa baik sebesar 31.5%. Pola makan yang terbentuk adalah pola makan prudent dan western. Status gizi baik sebesar 79.5%. Uji rank spearman menunjukkan ada hubungan signikan antara asupan protein, pola makan prudent, dan pola makan western dengan status gizi. Analisis uji regresi linear berganda terdapat hubungan signikan antara asupan protein dan pola makan dengan status gizi anak sekolah. Nilai Adjusted R Square sebesar 0,639 menunjukkan asupan protein dan pola makan mempengaruhi status gizi sebesar 63.9%.
