Abstract

The fisheries department is one of the expertise programs in Vocational High Schools (VHS). Learning motivation towards the entrepreneurial intention of VHS students majoring in fisheries is still low. This is supported by the fact that some students do not know the relationship between entrepreneurial intentions and learning motivation, which can arouse students' intentions for entrepreneurship. Therefore, this research aims to see the effect of creativity and learning motivation on the entrepreneurial intentions of VHS students majoring in fisheries. This research is ex post facto research with a quantitative approach because the data is generated in the form of numbers and analyzed based on statistical analysis. The sample in this research was 100 students, and the sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this research explain that creativity has an influence on entrepreneurial intentions, and learning motivation has an influence on entrepreneurial intentions. This is evidenced through the results of the t-test where the sig value obtained is 0.003, whose value is much smaller than 0.05 (0.001 0.05) and the t-count is greater than the t-table (2.614 1.984), so it can be said that creativity has an influence on entrepreneurial intention, as well as the learning motivation variable where the t-count value is greater than the t-table (2.679 1.984). This research contributes to the literature by providing insight into the role of creativity and learning motivation in shaping student entrepreneurial intentions, which can inform the development of entrepreneurship education programs and policies.

Abstract

This article aims to dig deeper, analyzing the positive impact of applying Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) and Self-Efficacy (SE) on the development of students' employability skills in the vocational education environment. This research is quantitative research with a comparative causal approach; data collection was carried out with a survey approach through online forms on 202 students in vocational education expertise programs accounting and financial institutions (AFI), motorcycle engineering and business (MEB), automotive light vehicle engineering (ALVE), computer and network engineering (CNE) at four vocational schools in East Java. The research applies a closed questionnaire consisting of five options on the Likert scale. The respondents are voluntary and anonymous. The analysis testing is applied with SPSS analytical tool to answer the research hypothesis. The results showed that SRL and SE contribute simultaneously to shaping students' career readiness, with SRL influencing self-management and independent learning abilities. In contrast, SE motivates and strengthens confidence to apply these skills in the context of work.

Abstract

Learning electrical measuring instruments at SMK Bendo Magetan still faces various challenges, especially in understanding theoretical concepts and mastering students' practical skills. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of applying the problem-solving learning model in improving student learning outcomes in electrical measuring instruments, both from cognitive and psychomotor aspects. The research used a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest. The subjects of the study consisted of 34 students of class X TPUPT SMKN 1 Bendo Magetan who were selected using the total sampling technique. The research instruments included a multiple-choice objective test of 30 questions to measure conceptual understanding and a practical observation sheet to assess practical skills. Data were analyzed using a learning completeness test, effect size, and normalized gain to comprehensively measure improvements in learning outcomes. The results showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The classical completeness analysis achieved the set target, with the effect size in the large category, indicating a strong impact of the applied learning model. The normalized gain test stated an increase in student abilities in the moderate category, especially in mastering the material of electrical measuring instruments. This study states that the problem-solving learning model has proven effective in improving student learning outcomes, conceptual understanding and practical skills. This model helps students understand the concept of electrical measurement in-depth and improves their ability to operate measuring instruments effectively. These findings significantly contribute to developing learning methods in vocational education, especially when facing technical and practical learning challenges.

Abstract

In today's digital era, digital entrepreneurial intentions among Visual Communication Design (DKV) students are increasingly crucial in preparing the younger generation to face technology-based economic challenges. This study aims to explore the influence of self-efficacy and self-management on digital entrepreneurial intentions of DKV students. The method used is an explanatory design and involves 150 DKV students of SMKN 1 Driyorejo who have participated in entrepreneurship learning, where data are collected through questionnaires filled out by DKV students at SMK. Statistical analysis used linear regression to assess the relationship between these variables. The results showed that innovation ability, self-efficacy, and self-management positively and significantly affect students' entrepreneurial intentions. The regression coefficient of each variable is 0.35 for innovation ability, 0.28 for self-efficacy, and 0.32 for self-management, with an overall contribution reaching 52%. The results showed that self-efficacy and self-management positively and significantly affect digital entrepreneurial intentions. Specifically, self-efficacy contributes more to shaping entrepreneurial intentions than self-management. This finding indicates that students who believe in their abilities are more motivated to start a digital business. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of developing self-efficacy and management in the entrepreneurship learning program of DKV SMKN 1 Driyorejo students. Further development must be made through an entrepreneurship curriculum based on the Teaching Factory (Tefa). Suggestions for further research include exploring other factors that may influence digital entrepreneurial intentions and developing training programs that are more focused on the psychological aspects of entrepreneurship for students.

Abstract

Project delay is a major issue in execution, often causing cost overruns if not addressed. Acceleration helps meet targets and increase profits. Research on fast track and crash programme methods is extensive, but mainly focuses on case studies rather than risks or work quality. Building X’s construction project faced a 3rd-week delay, extending from 23 weeks (December 2022) to 25 weeks (January 2023). This study aims to determine the most time- and cost-efficient acceleration method using primary (questionnaire) and secondary data (S-curve, unit price analysis, budget plan, and project reports). Applying fast track and crash programme methods along with risk frequency analysis, the study identifies the fast-track method as optimal, reducing project time to 22 weeks with 12% efficiency and Rp. 759,698,484.61 in cost savings. However, a potential risk is concrete cracks due to acceleration. This research complements previous studies by integrating risk analysis and quality assessment in fast-track acceleration.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menggambarkan: (1) manajemen hubungan masyarakat dengan sekolah, (2) prosedur operasional hubungan masyarakat di lingkungan sekolah, dan (3) peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Buduran. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) manajemen hubungan masyarakat dalam peningkatan mutu sekolah, baik secara internal maupun eksternal, mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi dalam merancang program-program sekolah; (2) prosedur operasional hubungan masyarakat di sekolah meliputi pertemuan kepala sekolah dengan komite dan masyarakat untuk menyosialisasikan citra sekolah, pengadaan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, pertemuan antara unsur sekolah dan orang tua siswa dalam pengambilan rapor, serta pengelolaan strategi kerja sama sekolah, seperti perkemahan, gotong royong, visit school, dan berbagai perlombaan. Selain itu, koordinasi dengan lembaga pendidikan lain juga dilakukan untuk memperoleh umpan balik terhadap pelaksanaan program kerja sekolah; dan (3) peran kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kualitas sekolah diwujudkan melalui penerapan konsep manajemen pendidikan serta pemantauan terhadap setiap aspek dalam manajemen pendidikan di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMK berdasarkan studi literatur penguasaan teori dasar-dasar elektronika. Studi pendahuluan mengungkapkan bahwa dasar-dasar elektronika merupakan pelajaran yang mencakup dari semua bidang keahlian kelistrikan untuk segi pembelajaran yang mendasar. Guru memiliki peran penting dalam memberikan inovasi pada pelaksanaan kegiatan pembelajaran. Inovasi pembelajaran dapat dilakukan dengan memilih model pembelajaran yang tepat, karena model pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru akan berpengaruh pada hasil pembelajaran. Hasil belajar merupakan faktor yang penting didalam proses belajar mengajar, karena merupakan salah satu tolak ukur keberhasilan dalam pendidikan. Berbagai penelitian telah dilakukan, dari segala model pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan hasil belajar SMK salah satunya adalah model pembelajaran PBL. Penelitian ini dikaji melalui metode meta analisis dengan mengumpulkan informasi dari beberapa studi literatur penelitian yang sejenis. Hasil analisis studi literatur yang setema dengan penelitian yang dilakukan menyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran PBL berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa SMK. Hasil belajar dilihat dari nilai posttest yang diperoleh mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan model PBL. Nilai posttest yang dihasilkan juga memperlihatkan bahwa siswa telah mencapai ketuntasan minimum dengan nilai yang diperoleh sudah mencakup KKM yaitu 75. Peningkatan persentase posttest secara signifikan meyakinkan bahwa peserta didik secara rata-rata sudah menguasai teori dasar-dasar elektronika.

Abstract

Job sheet merupakan salah satu jenis bahan ajar cetak yang terdiri dari lembaran kertas yang terdiri dari susunan intisari materi, panduan pembelajaran yang akan dilakukan oleh siswa baik konsep maupun praktik, dan berpedoman pada kompetensi dasar yang berlaku, selain itu job sheet juga dapat mendukung guru dan siswa pada proses pembelajaran. Namun, kenyataannya job sheet belum memenuhi apa yang diinginkan guru dan siswa, sehingga siswa kurang dapat memahami materi yang nantinya dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui validitas job sheet; dan (2) mengetahui kepraktisan jobsheet. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan kajian literatur yang pengumpulan dan pengelolahan datanya dari kajian pustaka dengan sumber yang relevan seperti ketetapan pemerintah, artikel, jurnal, buku teks yang berhubungan dengan validitas, dan kepraktisan job sheet pada pembelajaran. Dari hasil studi literatur dan telaah data pada jurnal dengan menghitung nilai rerata dan menggunakan teknik interpretasi nilai, didapatkan nilai validitas job sheet sebesar 85,54% yang termasuk dalam kriteria sangat vaid, nilai kepraktisan job sheet dari angket respon yang disebar ke siswa mendapatkan nilai sebesar 81,90% termasuk dalam kategori sangat praktis. Dari penilaian validitas dan kepraktisan, job sheet termasuk dalam kategori sangat layak digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran SMK.
