Abstract

This study aims to improve the early reading skills of first-grade students at SD Negeri 35 Barru using letter card media through a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Letter card media was utilized to introduce letters, pronounce letter sounds, and construct simple words interactively. The results showed a significant improvement in students' reading abilities. In the first cycle, only 59% of students met the Minimum Competency Criteria (MCC). Challenges such as difficulty recognizing letters and low student motivation were addressed in the second cycle by incorporating interactive activities like word games and paired reading exercises. By the end of the second cycle, 88% of students achieved the MCC.This study concludes that the use of letter card media is effective in enhancing students' early reading skills. The media not only aids students in recognizing letters and reading words but also increases their motivation and participation in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to address the issues outlined earlier, specifically in improving students’ reading skills through the use of e-book media in Grade III at UPTD SDN 35 Barru. Based on the results of the initial tests, it was found that students’ comprehension of reading material was generally very low, as reflected in the low percentage scores across various aspects. Therefore, concrete actions are necessary to enhance students’ reading skills so that they can achieve better academic performance. The use of e-book media is expected to help students achieve more optimal learning outcomes. This improvement is evident from the positive changes in learning attitudes and the increased reading skill scores of students in Cycle I and Cycle II. The contribution of e-book media in improving students’ reading skills in the Indonesian language subject has proven to be significant. In Cycle I, the average learning achievement rate reached 73.3%, and it increased to 88.5% in Cycle II.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan sosial terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif ex-post facto tanpa intervensi terhadap variabel bebas, dilakukan terhadap 29 siswa kelas II di Sekolah Dasar dengan penggunaan sampel jenuh. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, dan dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan inferensial untuk menggambarkan karakteristik responden dan hubungan variabel yang diteliti. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan keluarga dan lingkungan sosial mempengaruhi kemampuan berbicara siswa kelas II di SD Inpres Batua II, Kecamatan Manggala. Koefisien determinasi sebesar 52,4% menunjukkan kontribusi signifikan dari kedua lingkungan tersebut terhadap kemampuan berbicara siswa, sementara 47,6% sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain yang belum diteliti dalam penelitian ini. Temuan ini menyoroti pentingnya peran lingkungan keluarga dan sosial dalam membentuk kemampuan berbicara siswa di sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, pendidik, orang tua, dan stakeholder terkait perlu memperhatikan dan memperkuat lingkungan keluarga dan sosial yang mendukung perkembangan kemampuan berbicara anak-anak.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Eksperimen yang bertujuan (1) untuk mendekskripsikan pengaruh program gerakan literasi ”Ammaca” terhadap minat baca siswa kelas V Gugus I Kec.Bontonompo Kab.Gowa, (2) untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh budaya literasi digital melalui pemanfaatan media Chromebook terhadap minat baca siswa kelas V Gugus I Kec.Bontonompo Kab.Gowa (3) untuk mengetahui pengaruh program gerakan literasi ”Ammaca” dan budaya literasi digital melalui pemanfaatan media Chromebook terhadap minat baca siswa kelas V Gugus I Kec.Bontonompo Kab.Gowa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Gugus I Kec.Bontonompo Kab.Gowa dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Kalaserena dan SD Center Rappokaleleng yang masing-masing sekolah terdapat 23 siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan lembar observasi dan angket. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskritif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan program gerakan literasi “Ammaca” berpengaruh terhadap minat baca siswa, hal tersebut didukung oleh hasil observasi yang menunjukkan program gerakan literasi “Ammaca” berjalan sangat efektif dengan persentase 82,5%. Sedangkan pada budaya literasi digital melalui pemanfaatan media Chromebook berpengaruh terhadap minat baca siswa, hal tersebut didukung oleh hasil observasi yang menunjukkan budaya literasi digital melalui pemanfaatan media chromebook sangat efektif dengan persentase 95%. Pada hasil analisis inferensial dengan menggunakan uji hipotesis Independent Samples t-Test menunjukkan nilai probabilitas 0,000 < taraf signifikan 0,05 dan Thitung sebesar 7,085. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh program gerakan literasi “Ammaca” dan budaya literasi digital melalui pemanfaatan media Chromebook terhadap minat baca siswa kelas V Gugus I Kec.Bontonompo Kab.Gowa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara Motivasi Kerja, Lingkungan Kerja, dan Kepuasan Karyawan Perusahaan di Purwakarta. Kepuasan karyawan diyakini berperan penting dalam meningkatkan motivasi dan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, namun hubungan antara ketiganya belum banyak diteliti secara mendalam di kawasan industri Purwakarta. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif melalui survei terhadap 96 karyawan dari berbagai perusahaan di Purwakarta dengan tingkat kesalahan 10%. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur yang mengukur variabel motivasi kerja, lingkungan kerja, dan persepsi terhadap kepuasan karyawan, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode Statistik Korelasi Pearson dan Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja dan lingkungan kerja dengan kepuasan karyawan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa peningkatan motivasi kerja dan perbaikan lingkungan kerja dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kepuasan karyawan. Penelitian ini memberikan implikasi penting bagi manajemen perusahaan dalam merancang strategi yang dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kondusif, sehingga pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kepuasan dan produktivitas karyawan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Lean Manufacturing and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on employee performance through the mediation of 5S in the Operations Department of PT. XYZ. The method used is quantitative with a SEM-PLS approach using the SmartPLS 4 application. Data was collected from 217 respondents. The results indicate that Lean and PPE do not have a significant direct effect on employee performance. However, both have a significant effect on the implementation of 5S. Lean has a t-statistic of 8.023 and PPE has a t-statistic of 10.116, both of which are > t-table 1.64 and p-value < 0.05. The implementation of 5S also significantly influences employee performance (t-statistic = 11.122). Additionally, 5S significantly mediates the relationship between Lean and PPE and employee performance, with t-statistics of 6.518 and 7.365, respectively. These findings indicate that 5S plays a crucial role in linking work systems and safety to employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to design a portable coconut husk shredding machine capable of producing cocopeat, with an emphasis on ease of operation and mobility. The machine is powered by a 7.5 HP gasoline engine and utilizes a shredding system composed of four cutting blades and ten beaters to break down coconut husks into fine cocopeat particles. The design process follows the systematic VDI 2222 method, which includes need identification, concept development, and selection of the final design. The main focus is to create a compact, lightweight, and easily transportable structure without compromising shredding performance. The resulting design successfully meets the operational needs of field users, particularly in terms of portability and user-friendliness. This project was conducted in Bangka Belitung in 2025.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT Indo-Rama Synthetics Tbk Purwakarta which is engaged in the Textile Industry. This research aims to analyze the risks of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in the POY CP-3 Department at PT Indo-Rama Synthetics Tbk. The methods used are Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA). This department has a high level of risk because its production activities involve the use of high-speed machinery and chemicals, which have the potential to cause work accidents. Based on work accident data for the period September 2024 - March 2025, there were 7 accident incidents recorded, reflecting the lack of implementation of an OHS culture in the work area. Through the application of the HIRARC method, hazard identification, risk level assessment, and control recommendations were made for each work activity. The JSA method was used to analyze each stage of work to establish more specific control measures. The analysis results show that some activities have high to extreme risk levels, such as being squashed by trolleys and exposed to chemicals. Therefore, improvement proposals were made in the form of providing personal protective equipment (PPE), improving SOP , and regular work safety training. This research is expected to be a real contribution in increasing awareness and implementation of OHS, as well as a reference in efforts to prevent work accidents in the industrial environment.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' interest and writing ability using the Problem-Based Learning model combined with the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach. This research is a quantitative study. The sample consisted of all fifth-grade students at UPT SPF SD Inpres Maccini 1/1. Data were collected through tests and observations, and the results were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through a t-test. Based on the average posttest results of interest and descriptive writing skills using the Problem-Based Learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level approach, the posttest scores were higher than the pretest scores. The research findings show that the average interest score of the control and experimental classes was 86.44 ≤ 93.27, and the average descriptive writing ability score of the control and experimental classes was 83.00 ≤ 95.18. After administering a written test to students, the average pretest score before implementing the model was 63.91%. Following the intervention, the average posttest score increased to 87.73%. Thus, the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning model with the Teaching at the Right Level approach in Indonesian language learning had a positive effect on students' interest and descriptive writing skills

Abstract

Penggunaan media gambar sangat membantu untuk meningkat­kan hasil belajar siswa, Karena melibatkan  seluruh potensi yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengatahui pengaruh penggunaan Media gambar terhadap hasil belajar Bahasa Indonesia, Karna hasil belajar siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Sungguminasa III Kecamatan Somba Opu Kabupaten Gowa tergolong rendah dengan nilai 6,83. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pre eksperimental dengan jenis one group pre test-post test design. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah teknik tes. Data yang dikumpul akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif jenis uji t-tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media gambar pada proses pembelajaran pada hasil belajar berpengaruh. Hal ini tampak pada tingkat kemampuan siswa sebelum menggunakan metode pembelajaran yaitu hanya mencapai 6,83, selanjutnya setelah menggunakan media gambar pada proses pembelajaran mencapai nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh sebesar 16,35. Hal ini berarti bahwa tingkat kemampuan siswa meningkat. Pengaruh media gambar dalam proses pembelajaran diketahui pula berdasarkan hasil perhitungaan uji t. Hasil penelitian diperoleh, tHitung= 16,41 dan tTabel= 3,792 maka t Hitung ≥ tTabel atau 16,41≥ 3,792. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho di tolak dan Ha diterima. Ini berarti bahwa penggunaan media gambar dapat memberi pengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan siswa pada pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia. The use of image media is very helpful to improve student learning outcomes, because it involves all the potential possessed by students. The purpose of this study to mengatahui effect of the use of media images of learning outcomes Indonesian, Karna student learning outcomes fourth grade SD Negeri Sungguminasa III Somba Opu District Gowa is low with a value of 6.83. The type of research used is pre experimental with type one group pre test-post test design. The technique used to collect data is a test technique. The collected data will be analyzed using descriptive statistical technique of test t-test type. The results of this study indicate that the use of image media on the learning process on learning results have an effect. This is seen in the level of students' ability before using the learning method that is only reached 6.83, then after using the media images on the learning process to reach the average value obtained for 16.35. This means that the level of student ability increases. The influence of image media in the learning process is also known based on the results of t test calculation. The results obtained, t = 16.41 and tTable = 3.792 then t Count ≥ tTable or 16.41 ≥ 3.792. So it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. This means that the use of image media can have an effect on improving students' skills in Indonesian language.
