Abstract

Research objectives: 1) Distribution patterns of Arabica Coffee Bean Businesses, 2) Development of Arabica Coffee Bean Businesses in terms of Capital, Labor and Sales 3) How Far Are Arabica Coffee Bean Business Sales in Kerinci Regency in 2017-2022. This research is a type of quantitative descriptive research using neighbor-nearest analyst analysis techniques, descriptive percentages, and spatial analysis of buffering. The results of this study: 1) The distribution pattern of Arabica Coffee Bean Processing Businesses in Kerinci Regency which was analyzed by the Average Nearest Neighbor in the ArcGIS Application obtained the Nearest Neighbor Ratio value of 1.836266, so the distribution pattern of Arabica Coffee Bean Processing Businesses has a dispersed or uniform pattern. 2) Development of Arabica Coffee Bean Processing Business in Kerinci Regency in 2017-2022 in terms of capital, labor and income. The Arabica Coffee Bean Business in Kerinci Regency, which has 7 industrial business points, the average capital issued now from its inception is Rp. 6,000,000-Rp. 25,000,000. Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the flagship commodities and analyze the suitability of land for the flagship commodity subsector of food crops and plantations in the city of Pariaman. This research employs a quantitative descriptive method. The determination of flagship commodities utilizes parameters such as the production output of food crops and plantations in the city of Pariaman, as well as the productivity of food crops and plantations in the city of Pariaman. For land suitability assessment, matching and comparing characteristics such as temperature, root media (encompassing drainage and texture), nutrient retention, and slope are conducted using ArcGIS 10.8 software to determine the suitability of land for coconut and rice paddy cultivation. The research findings indicate that the flagship commodities of Pariaman City are rice paddy and coconut crops. There are four categories for rice paddy land suitability: highly suitable covering 95.7636 hectares (0.92%), moderately suitable covering 3,054.34 hectares (29.45%), marginally suitable covering 3,221.83 hectares (31.06%), and not suitable covering 4,000.25 hectares (38.56%). As for the coconut commodity, there are four categories: highly suitable covering 1,082.88 hectares (10.44%), moderately suitable covering 495.33 hectares (4.78%), marginally suitable covering 4,787.26 hectares (46.15%), and not suitable covering 3,995.5 hectares (38.51%).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) Mengetahui penggunaan aplikasi Kahoot untuk kemampuan pemahaman dan evaluasi geografi siswa dan 2) Mengetahui efektivitas aplikasi Kahoot dalam kemampuan pemahaman dan evaluasi geografi siswa kelas X di MAN 1 Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif berbasis eksperimen semu. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling sehingga menghasilkan dua kelompok sampel yang masing-masing terdiri dari 35 dan 25 siswa, yaitu kelas X Fase E 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang melakukan pembelajaran dengan aplikasi Kahoot dan kelas X Fase E 11 sebagai kelompok kontrol yang melakukan pembelajaran dengan metode konvensional. Data dikumpulkan melalui lembar pretest dan posttest untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji hipotesis, dan uji n-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor hasil belajar dari hasil uji hipotesis (uji t) signifikan 0,033 0,05, yang berarti H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh signifikan penggunaan aplikasi Kahoot terhadap hasil belajar geografi siswa Fase E di MAN 1 Bukittinggi. Diperkuat dengan uji N-Gain Score, kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai sebesar 60,37% dan kelas kontrol sebesar 43,55%, sehingga penggunaan aplikasi Kahoot sebagai media evaluasi lebih efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman siswa pada mata pelajaran Geografi.

Abstract

Abstrak: Bencana banjir merupakan salah satu ancaman utama yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia, termasuk di nagari Pelangai. Sekolah-sekolah di wilayah ini menjadi salah satu institusi yang paling terdampak akibat bencana banjir, yang mengakibatkan terganggunya proses belajar mengajar, kerusakan sarana dan prasarana pendidikan, serta meningkatnya risiko bagi keselamatan siswa dan tenaga pendidik pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan memberikan edukasi mitigasi bencana banjir untuk membangun sekolah tangguh bencana di nagari pelangai bertujuan untuk menerapkan model edukasi mitigasi bencana banjir yang sesuai dengan karakteristik wilayah dan kebutuhan sekolah di nagari Pelangai. Dengan adanya program ini, sekolah diharapkan dapat menjadi lebih tangguh dalam menghadapi bencana banjir, sehingga proses pendidikan dapat tetap berjalan dengan baik meskipun dalam kondisi darurat. Mitra dalam program ini terbagi menjadi dua, pertama warga sekolah MTsN 12 Pesisir Selatan sebanyak 35 orang, dan masyarakat nagari Pelangai sebanyak 48 orang. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan meningkatnya pengetahuan siswa tentang mitigasi bencana banjir, peningkatan kesiapan sekolah dalam menghadapi bencana melalui penyusunan rencana kontinjensi dan pelaksanaan simulasi bencana, serta kemampuan siswa dan warga sekolah dalam memberikan respon cepat terhadap peringatan dini yang disimulasikan. Peningkatan pengetahuan siswa dan masyarakat di evalusi menggunakan angket wawancara dan observasi. Hal ini akan menjadikan sekolah tersebut menjadi sekolah tangguh bencana. Selain itu, peningkatan pemahaman tentang mitigasi bencana banjir sebanyak 80%, keterlibatan mitra dalam program sebanyak 86%, kemapuan praktik simulasi evakuasi sebanyak 71% dan kepuasan mitra terhadap program sebanyak 83%. terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat terhadap kode-kode peringatan dini bencana dan simulasi bencana sebanyak 89%.Abstract: Flood disasters are one of the main threats faced by communities in various regions of Indonesia, including the nagari of Pelangai. Schools in this region are among the institutions most affected by flood disasters, which disrupt the teaching and learning process, damage educational facilities, and increase risks for the safety of students and educators. Community service aimed at providing education on flood disaster mitigation to build disaster-resilient schools in the nagari of Pelangai aims to implement a flood disaster mitigation education model that aligns with the characteristics of the area and the needs of schools in the nagari of Pelangai. With this program, schools are expected to become more resilient in facing disasters floods, so that the educational process can continue to run well even in emergency conditions. The partners in this program are divided into two, first the school community of MTsN 12 Pesisir Selatan consisting of 35 people, and the community of Nagari Pelangai consisting of 48 people. The results of this service show an increase in students' knowledge about flood disaster mitigation, an increase in the school's preparedness for facing disasters through the development of contingency plans and the implementation of disaster simulations, as well as the ability of students and school staff to respond quickly to simulated early warnings. The increase in knowledge of students and the community is evaluated using interview questionnaires and observations. This will make the school a disaster resilient school. In addition, there is an increase in understanding of flood disaster mitigation by 80%, involvement of partners in the program by 86%, ability to practice evacuation simulations by 71%, and partner satisfaction with the program by 83%. There has been an increase in public knowledge regarding disaster early warning codes and disaster simulations by 89%.

Abstract

The existence of forest fragmentation with the construction of five major roads in Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park will affect the quality and quantity of animal habitats. Fragmentation will reduce connectivity and dispersal of animals, becoming a barrier to movement in search of food and mates. In conservation planning, information on the distribution of animals is useful to determine the presence of animals and is used to determine the appropriate habitat for these animals. The purpose of the study was to determine the distribution of tapir tenuks in the IPZ of Bukit Barisan Selatan National Park by using the Kernel Density method, which is a type of density that uses a non-parametric statistical formula to estimate density using data on the presence of tapir tenuks based on patrols and camera traps. From the results of the research, based on camera trap data, tapir tenuk is highly distributed at the Sukaraja Atas resort, based on patrol data, which is highly distributed in Balik Bukit, Biha, and Suoh, and when combined tapir tenuk is found in all resorts except Balai Kencana which has the lowest distribution.

Abstract

Changes in land use that occur affect the reduction of water catchment areas in the future. This study aims to determine: land-use changes in the Batang Anai watershed in the upstream, middle, and downstream areas in 2010, 2015 and 2020. The method applied in this research is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The results showed that changes in land use in the upstream area of the Batang Anai watershed were primary forest into rice fields covering an area of 55.66 ha, which occurred around the fott of Mount Singgalang, Tandikat, and Marapi. For the middle area of the Batang Anai watershed, the land-use changes that occurred were primary forest into ricefields cobering an area of 65.62 ha around the river. While in the downstream area of the Batang Anai watershed, the land-use change was from shrubs to shrimp ponds covering an area of 227.59 ha, which occurd on the palins and along the coast.

Abstract

The tsunami is a catastrophe that leaves a large number of victims and economic damages, particularly in coastal regions like West Sumatra Province's Pesisir Selatan Regency. The government needs research on predicted economic damages and losses as a reference when developing policies to stop pre- and post-tsunami disasters. The Pesisir Selatan Regency tsunami disaster's anticipated effects in this study are based on BNPB Regulation No. 4 of 2012, which calls for an 11-meter sea level rise away from the coast. analysis The area affected by the tsunami was identified using the cost-distance method. The impacted area of agricultural land and plantations serves as the damage indicator. According to the results of the estimated impact of the 11-meter tsunami, the impacted area is 9,970.92 ha, 2,278.69 ha of it is affected by agriculture, and 4,870.7 ha of it is damaged by plantations. Rp. 95.412.280.674 in economic losses have been suffered by agricultural land, Rp. 1.586.436.733 by cocoa plantations, Rp. 13.595.505.700 by rubber plantations, and Rp. 26.073.748.800 by oil palm plantations.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the range of waste bank distribution services to the region, the range of waste bank distribution services to settlements in the center of Padang city, namely South Padang District, East Padang, West Padang, North Padang, and Nanggalo and the distribution pattern of waste banks seen from nearest neighbor analysis. This type of research is a quantitative description using a geographic information system (GIS). This research was conducted for 6 months in 2020, located in the city of Padang. The population in this study is a waste bank in the city of Padang with a total of 22 units while the sample is 8 units of a waste bank with total sampling. Technical analysis of data using profile data analysis techniques, distribution analysis (nearest neighbours), Network Analyst and service area analysis. The results show 1) analysis using the Service area Network method is obtained for the coverage of the most served area, namely Kec. Nanggalo where the area served is as wide as 1697.22Ha with a percentage of 92% and South Padang District with a small service area, which is 485.95 Ha with a percentage of 34%. So that the 6 points of the waste bank studied were able to serve the research area of ​​4611.47Ha with a percentage of 73%. 2) Settlements are served in 5 sub-districts, namely Nanggalo, West Padang, South Padang, East Padang and North Padang which have 6 Location Points for Garbage Banks. Kec. Nanggalo, the area that serves the most for serviced settlements, covers an area of ​​1169.66 Ha with a percentage of 99% served, Kec. East Padang served settlements covering an area of ​​430.17 with a percentage of 62% underserved is the least. So that from the 6 points the waste bank has served the research area covering an area of ​​3668.36 hectares with a percentage of 88%. 3) The service pattern of the 6 Waste Banks studied using the Nearest Neighbor analysis classified as 2022 spreads, this makes the waste Banks in the center of the city of Padang (Kec. Abstract

This research aims to (1) analyze the distribution and utilization of social facilities in Padang Pariaman Regency, (2) analyze the accessibility of social facilities in serving the community in Padang Pariaman Regency. The sampling technique used in this research employed documentation methods and secondary data obtained from various institutions such as the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda), research reports, and relevant article publications. Based on the research findings, the distribution of education facilities in Padang Pariaman Regency showed an increase from 2015 to 2020. However, there was a decrease in the number of auxiliary health centers (puskesmas pembantu). The distribution pattern revealed that junior high schools (SMP), hospitals (rumah sakit), and health centers (puskesmas) were scattered. On the other hand, high schools (SMA) and sub-district health centers (pustu) exhibited a random distribution pattern. Elementary schools (SD) were found to be clustered. Regarding the accessibility of education and health social facilities in Padang Pariaman Regency, the results indicated that the accessibility percentages were as follows: 35.81% for elementary schools (SD), 64.02% for junior high schools (SMP), 72.2% for high schools (SMA), 27.35% for hospitals (RS), 91.07% for health centers (puskesmas), and 46.82% for sub-district health centers (pustu).
