Abstract

Pekanbaru wedding Center has the main function to support the wedding procession. Modernization that occurs in the city of Pekanbaru makes things practical, this tendency makes people prefer things that are considered practical but still effective and efficient, including the implementation of wedding receptions that want to be more efficient. The Pekanbaru Wedding Center is also provides supporting facilities such as salons and spas, wedding boutiques, jewelry stores, cake shops, photo studios, shopping centers, invitation shops, flower shops, catering and hotels in one area making it easier the bride and groom in meeting the needs of the wedding and in holding a wedding reception. that method uses is the Expressionist Architecture Approach which creates a building that expresses emotions and can be felt by people who see it so that it not only provides facilities that can enrich one's expression but also describes expressions in terms of architecture that creates the building. Expressionist architecture expresses expression through three physical elements of the building, namely the facade, the interior, the building plan, and the mass of the building. By the concept of Happy vibes is an atmosphere of happiness which is then described through the results of imagination and emotions which are then combined with several elements that influence the process of composition.keywords : Pekanbaru, Wedding Center, Expressionist Architecture

Abstract

Pacu Jalur tourism is a ethnic tour owned by Kuantan Singingi Regency. Historically Pacu Jalur itself means to unite all the people of Kuantan Singingi with compactness. But it is still not yet optimally in terms of facilities and containers to perform this particular culture, in order to give the impression as well as the meaning and able to entertain as a tourism area. Moving on from the problems, expected the arrangement of tourism area is to be a real solution to support the infrastructure of existing ethnic tour in Kuantan Singingi. The reason of the title above is not maximal utilization of tourism area Pacu Jalur which is a tourism icon of Kuantan Singingi Regency, causing a lack of infrastructure and public understanding of the Pacu Jalur. Reason of traditional architecture theme to increase tourism potential and well communicate about Pacu Jalur through traditional character of Godang House. To realize the concept that in the arrangement is Symbiosis of History and the Present and Symbiosis of Tradition and Modern Architecture, which connects to between the characters of Godang Houses, Pacu Jalur and tourist activity to the Arrangement of Tourism Area Arena Pacu Jalur in Kuantan Singingi. Referring to the RDTR Teluk Kuantan city, the purpose is to optimized the Arrangement of Tourism Area Pacu Jalur, demonstrating cultural activities and public activities and facilitated by the form of the cottage 's accommodation.Keywords: Arrangement of Tourism Area, Pacu Jalur Kuantan Singingi, Godang House Architecture, Symbiosis of History and Present, Symbiosis of Tradition and Modern Architecture.

Abstract

Pekanbaru is the capital of Riau province which became one of the provinces whose economic growth is very rapid. From a small economic sector even to business and foreigninvestors are in Pekanbaru. Pekanbaru also has become a destination town of investors both from within the country and also abroad have been widely developed in Pekanbaru. However the facilities and space requirements to support the economy so is slightly. Therefore, the rental office is becoming one of the alternatives for developing the economic sector in Pekanbaru. In the design of the rental office, applied design approach emphasizes the principles of green architecture withthe aim of building that is designed into the building to minimize bad influence on the environment, nature, and human and produce a better and more healthy. However, to support this design is also applied in the concept of "integrated green office" which is a concept with a combination of some ofthe supporting elements of green architecture in the form of orientation of the sun, the air, environment, footprint and also the structure will be a unified in whole of the building. Furthermore by applying green architecture design strategies according to Alison G. Kwok form of: (1) Envelope relating to scoper building; (2) Lighting associated with exposure; (3) Cooling associated with refrigerant; (4) Energy production relating to energy production; (5) Water and waste associated with water using. From all that it will make the design of the rental office building is becoming environmentally friendly, save energy, healthy and also good for the environment, the using and also for the building it self. Abstract

As one of the developing cities, Pekanbaru has been done international relations with other countries in economical, social, and political sectors. It also affects the education sector, and therefore it needs the proper tools to facilitate educational activities in Pekanbaru city. The international school is an educational facility that implements an international curriculum in the teaching system, also has been recognized internationally as well as produces Certified International graduates. This international school has applied the principles of eco-architecture with purpose keeping the designed building has more synergy, considering the environment condition. However, in aiming more in specific concept, it applies the concept of “Holistic” which is the combination of the design criteria of ecological design. Holistic in ecological design is aimed at the principles as follows: (1) energy saving; (2) sensitive to climate; (3) eco-friendly. This International School fulfills all the criteria that appropriate with the curriculum also facilities of educational standards and infrastructure nationally as well as the implementation of the concept that is used to create an international school which refers to ecological architecture.Keywords: Pekanbaru as a developing city, Educational Facility, International School, Eco-architecture, Holistic.

Abstract

The Dumai City always make an exhibition event for every years called Dumai Expo that to celebrate Dumai City's birthday. Besides Dumai Expo event, there are also other events that held such as religious events, gatherings of important people, music festivals, cultural festivals, performances, and many other. Therefore, the Convention and Exhibition Center will be a place that can be used to accommodate those events. The method in this design is to use the High-Tech Architecture approach by applying all its characteristics. The concept that used is Celebration of Unity, obtained from the design functions and themes. The application of the concept on this design is divided into two part namely Celebration on the buildings and Unity on landscape design.Key word: Convention, Exhibition, High-Tech Architecture

Abstract

The development of lifestyle in this modern times make people have to behave according to the development of lifestyle. The development in the form of activity, the way to dress, the use of product, and especially in shaping the ideal body. There are many ways to shape the ideal body, one of the way is by doing fitness activities. Fitness is someone who conduct excessive activities without feeling weariness. Fitness facilities such as gymnastic activities, spa treatments, and sporting venues such as swimming pools, tennis courts, gymnastic fields. Those facilities are the fitness places (gym) that follow the development of lifestyle. Every fitness places (gym) has visitors with different behavior for each function. Therefore fitness places (gym) must accommodate every visitors’ behavior. Behavioralarchitecture is an architecture that is able to respond the need of every behavior of human being. The application of behavioral architecture at each facility will be variant. But basically, every design has a concept that will become the basic design. The concept of flexibility of space in the design is a concept based on function and human behavior that is in it. Flexibility of space has meaning as easy to bent; not rigid; dynamic. So that a space with this concept is able to respond to some of the visitors’ behavior with the flexibility and dynamism. Abstract

Everyday, the times continues to grow by leaps and bounds resulting in Muslims having failed in so many aspects of life, namely in the aspect of education, knowledge, political, economic, social, and art culture. One of the facility that can accommodate it is Islamic Center. Islamic Center is a balance place for Muslims with basic concepts are vertical and horizontal relationships of life, the vertical relationship, is the relationship between Muslims and Allah SWT and the horizontal relationship, is the relationship between one Muslim to the others. Environmental problems are also global problems nowadays. One of them is the issue of energy, an increase of energy deman due to the increasing numbers of houses, factories, and commercial and industry buildings. So, the Islamic Center uses the green architectural approach based on Hablum mina Allah and hablum mina annas. The concept of green architectural based on Hablum mina Allah poured in the form of green architectural principles based on the oracles of Allah SWT while the concept of green architectural based on Hablum mina annas poured in the green architectural principles for the human prosperity. Those principles are principles that can make us closer to God through nature, principles of sustainable and energy-efficient, the environment-friendly principles, and helping-each-other principles. By doing this green architectural approach based on Hablum mina Allah and Hablum mina annas, so well as the effect on the order of mass, mass, form, space in the facade, interior, exterior spaces, circulation and others. we can get the facility needs for Muslims i.e. mosque, mess, muiltifunction room, retail, restaurant, Islamic Consultation Center, Islamic Organization Center, school and Art Islamic Gallery. Abstract

Cancer is a disease that experiences abnormal, fast and uncontrollable growth and threatens the lives of individual sufferers, this is evidenced by the increasing number of cancer patients annually. The province of Riau itself sufferers of the cancer ranks to 4 by 0.7% orapproximately 4,301 inhabitants. From these problems, a special action and a response to cancer is required. Meanwhile, in Riau, especially the city of Pekanbaru health facilities are still not adequate, so from this problem arise idea to improve the adequate health means andhave a special quality of service treating cancer sufferers With the design of cancer hospital in Pekanbaru. The method used in this design is to use the Healing Environment approach by applying the principles and design ideas that exist in this cancer hospital. Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu sumber penyedia SDM yang sangat dibutuhkan dalam dunia industri kreatif, salah satunya pendidikan desain. Hal yang sangat disayangkan apabila pendidikan ini tidak didukung sarana prasarana serta fasilitas yang memadai. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan suatu wadah yang mampu menampung kegiatan tersebut. Wadah untuk menampung kegiatan pendidikan desain tersebut dapat berbentuk Sekolah Tinggi Desain. Seiring berjalannya waktu, pendidikan desain ini mengalami beberapa perkembangan yang dilahirkan dari kritik-kritik keras dari pada seniman dimasa lalu, yang melahirkan berbagai kelompok, salah satunya membentuk pendekatan De Stijl. Pembahasan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan beberapa alternative penerapan De Stijl pada perancangan Sekolah Tinggi Desain di Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Sekolah tinggi migas merupakan perguruan tinggi yang menyelenggarakan pendidikan akademik atau vokasi dalam lingkup satu disiplin ilmu pengetahuan yaitu migas. penggunaan Air Conditioner banyak digunakan untuk mengrontrol suhu, dan kelembaban udara dalam sebuah ruangan, untuk mencapai tingkat kenyamanan termal penggunanya. Peningkatan penggunaan AC menyebabkan peningkatan permintaan dalam mengkonsumsi energi. Ditambah lagi isu peningkatan populasi penduduk di Kota Duri, juga meningkatkan pembangunan, telah menyebabkan suhu rata-rata di Kota Duri meningkat. Passive cooling menjadi pilihan yang sangat tepat dengan kondisi termal yang ada di Kota Duri. Passive cooling adalah proses menurunkan temperatur ruang dalam hingga berada dalam temperatur ideal dengan proses alami tanpa penggunaan alat elektronik yang berlebihan. Karya arsitektur berupa sekolah tinggi migas dengan penerapan passive cooling akan memecahkan problematic kurang kebutuhan serta fasilitas pendidikan  yang nyaman dibidang migas pada daerah kota Duri,Kabupaten Bengkalis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan data yang kompleks mengenai lokasi yang akan di lakukan penelitian. Survey dilakuan dengan melihat kondisi sekitar site ,arah pergerakan matahari, dan angin. Dari hasil penelitian akan diolah untuk menghasilkan kebutuhan dari penggunaan lahan, luasan yang akan di gunakan, dan penerapan dari prinsip passive cooling. Hasil analisa akan menghasilkan solusi dari permasalahan yaitu pertimbangan desain yang mengikuti dari kaidah passive cooling. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan, Sekolah Tinggi Migas, Passive cooling
