Abstract

Theoretically, physical activity can improve physical fitness and cognitive functions. Students who do regular physical activity are expected to have fitness and fitness at the same time as their cognitive function grows and develops so that their academic achievement increases. Unfortunately, as technology advances and lifestyle changes, children's physical activity is decreasing. Effectiveness in achieving learning objectives continuously along with the level of student fitness and decreased cognitive function improvement. This study aims to examine the effect of daily physical activity on increasing students' fitness and academic achievement. The research method used is quasi-experimental with a matching-only design. As a sample, 30 grade 5 students of SDN Pesanggrahan I, Kwanyar, Bangkalan. The sample was divided into two groups, 15 students in the experimental group and 15 students in the control group. The treatment was given for 8 weeks with 3 meetings per week. The fitness variable was measured by a multistage fitness test, meanwhile, the academic achievement variable was measured by a series of questions prepared by the teacher. Data processing was carried out by analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) using the results of the pretest as covariates. The results showed that daily physical activity could improve physical fitness (F=45.91; p<0.01) and student academic achievement (F=7.72; p<0.01). The experimental group showed better physical fitness than the control group (F=100.91; p<0.01). The experimental group also showed better academic achievement than the control group (F=19.45; p<0.01). Based on the results of the analysis, it can be said that the application of daily physical activity for 2 months is proven to be effective in improving physical fitness and academic achievement of fifth-grade students at SDN Pesanggrahan I, Kwanyar, Bangkalan.

Abstract

This research aims to develop instruments for assessing lower and upper service engineering skills in volleyball games for 6th-grade students in elementary schools. This research uses research and development methods, with the following development steps: (1) information gathering in the field, (2) analyze the information collected, (3) developing initial products, (4) expert validation and revision, (5) small-scale trials and revisions, (6) large-scale trials and revisions, (7) manufacturing of final products. The subject of this research is 6th-grade students of elementary students. Data analysis for the validity test was carried out with CVR (content validity ratio) and reliability using Alpha Cronbach. This research resulted in a handbook of instrument assessment tools for service techniques of lower and upper service in volleyball games for 6th-grade elementary school students, which contained instructions for use, student assignments sheets, assessment guidelines, assessment rubrics, and scoring tables, which have high validity. (1) And under service reliability initial attitude: r = 0.975, implementation: r = 0.961, follow-up motion: r = 0, 955. Upper Service for initial attitude: r = 0.961, implementation: r = 0.974, follow-up motion: r = 0.989.

Abstract

Parenting is a process of interaction between parents and children in educating, guiding, and directing the development of children's personalities. Parenting patterns play an important role in the formation of children's self-efficacy to behave independently and always strive in the face of every difficulty. This study aims to examine the influence of foster care patterns and self-efficacy on physical activity. The subject of this study was grade 6 students of SD Islam Raden Paku Surabaya as many as 70 students consisting of 40 male students and 30 female students. The data was collected using questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regressions. The results showed that the pattern of foster care and self-efficacy together significantly influenced the physical activity of elementary school students in grade VI, with a score of F of 3,765 at a significance of 0.005. Authoritarian parenting patterns significantly influenced the physical activity of students with a beta score of 0.259 at a significance of 0.027, while the other three foster patterns had no significant effect. Self-efficacy significantly influenced the physical activity of students with a beta score of 0.458 at a significance of 0.001.

Abstract

Motivation is one of the factors that influence the success of the physical education learning process. Motivation is divided into two dimensions, namely intrinsic motivation (arising from within) and extrinsic motivation (which is influenced by external or environmental factors). The success of physical education depends on the amount of motivation (motivation) that appears in students. If intrinsic motivation is greater than extrinsic motivation, the success of physical education will be easier to realize. This study aims to determine the motivation orientation of junior high school students in participating in physical education and to determine differences in motivation orientation based on gender in attending physical education in junior high schools. The population in this study were students of SMPN 40 Surabaya, amounting to 677 students. The research sample was 262 students. Sampling was done by random sampling technique with class as the unit of analysis. The data collection method in this study used a motivational questionnaire adapted from Deci (1971). This questionnaire has a validity of 0.356 to 0.755 and reliability (alpha) of 0.6854. To analyze the data, we used parametric statistical analysis of one sample t-test & independent samples t-test. To process it using the Windows version 20.00 SPSS statistical application program. The results obtained from the analysis of the one sample t-test as a whole obtained a mean value of 20.94 intrinsic motivation and a mean value of 14.63 extrinsic motivation. So that intrinsic motivation is greater than extrinsic motivation. For the results of the independent analysis of the sample t-test, it was obtained that F count was 3.68 with a significance of 0.00. Because it is significant 0.00 <0.05, the hypothesis is accepted. From the data analysis, it can be concluded that the motivation orientation of students of SMPN 40 Surabaya tends to be intrinsic and there are significant and significant differences in the motivation orientation between male students and female students based on gender differences.

Abstract

Abstrak Hubungan antara regionalisme dan kompleksitas Laut China Selatan (LCS) jelas penting untuk diteliti lebih lanjut. Hal ini karena dampak dari sengketa LCS jelas berpengaruh terhadap stabilitas politik dan keamanan di Asia Tenggara. Tujuan utama artikel ini adalah untuk memahami konflik, latar belakang dan dampak dari sengketa LCS di negara-negara kawasan tersebut. Artikel ini dibagi menjadi enam bagian yaitu regionalisme dan LCS, sejarah konflik LCS, profil negara pengklaim, regionalisme dan solusi perdamaian, LCS dan keamanan regional dan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini juga dilengkapi dengan beberapa visualisasi untuk mengajak pembaca dalam sebuah imajinasi mendalam tentang LCS. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa regionalisme Asia Tenggara menghadapi tantangan serius di tengah ancaman China yang berhasil mengambil keuntungan dari lemahnya multilateral ASEAN terkait masalah tersebut.Kata kunci: keamanan, konflik, Laut China Selatan, regionalisme,Abstract The relationship between regionalism and the complexity of the South China Sea (SCS) issues is obviously critical to be examined. This is because the impact of the SCS disputes are clearly influence to the political and security stability in Southeast Asia. The primary objective of this article is to understand the conflicts, background and impact of the SCS disputes on the regional member states. This article is divided into six sections namely regionalism and the SCS, history of SCS conflicts, profile of claimant states, regionalism and peace solutions, SCS and regional security and conclusion. This study is also supplemented by some visualizations to engage the readers in deep imagination on the SCS. The author concludes that Southeast Asian regionalism was facing serious challenges vis-à-vis China which successfully took benefit from the ASEAN's weak multilateral approach on this issue.Keywords: conflict, security, South China Sea, regionalism

Abstract

Football is an achievement sport that has special characteristics and physical characteristics for players. A good Vo2max endurance capacity can give an advantage to the athlete's performance when competing on the field. Football in Indonesia tends to have an average Vo2max which is still below the standard. One of the reasons is when adolescent athletes are never used to doing intensive physical exercise so that the training age is still small and it will take a long time to improve. In addition to increasing Vo2max, physical exercise also affects changes in suppressing the pulse. Because when someone with a low resting pulse rate, the endurance to carry out an activity, high-intensity exercise and competition will last longer. The purpose of this study is to find out and compare the effectiveness of the HIIT training method with two different forms or variants with a design according to the principle of load training on basal pulse and Vo2max. This study used a quasi-experimental design with Randomized Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design with a sample of 30 divided into 3 groups consisting of 10 athletes in the Shuttle run experimental group, 10 athletes in the around rectangle group and 10 athletes in the control group. Treatment is given within 8 weeks with 3 meetings per week using a Polar H10 device to control exercise intensity. Data analysis using (MANOVA) with the help of the SPSS statistical program. The results showed that the two exercises had a significant effect in improving the pulse p-value 0.001 < 0, 05 in the Shuttle run exercise and Vo2max 0.000 < 0.05, from Around rectangle on pulse p-value 0.000 < 0.05 and Vo2max 0.000 < 0.05. Meanwhile, the effectiveness of the two exercises is the same as the p-value 1,000 > 0.05. Therefore, HIIT is not based on its form but on its duration and intensity which is monitored using a heat rate check for each exercise.

Abstract

Citra Tubuh dalam Pendidikan Jasmani, Olahraga, dan Kesehatan (PJOK) memiliki makna yang sangat berarti dalam mengawal perkembangan kepribadian siswa. Gender sebagai salah satu faktor yang diduga berpengaruh dalam pembentukan citra tubuh diteliti hubungannya dengan tipe olahraga yang dipilih oleh siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis relasi antara gender, jenis olahraga, dan citra tubuh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang tergolong dalam penelitian korelasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya pada periode 2019/2020. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 60 siswa, terdiri dari 50% laki-laki dan 50% perempuan yang dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling dikombinasi dengan teknik quota sampling. Instumen yang digunakan adalah angket Multidimensional Body-Self Relation Questionere dan Bem Sex Role Inventory. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier ganda dan korelasi ganda dengan program statistik SPSS versi windows 25.00. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa gender dan jenis olahraga berpengaruh positip terhadap citra tubuh dengan nilai F hitung sebesar 3,794 pada signifikansi 0,028. Tidak ada korelasi yang signifikan antara gender dan jenis olahraga dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,144 pada p-value >0,05. Ada korelasi positip antara jenis kelamin dan jenis olahraga. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa gender dan jenis olahraga berpengaruh positif terhadap citra tubuh. Gender tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap jenis olahraga, sedangkan jenis kelamin berpengaruh terhadap jenis olahraga.

Abstract

Hasil belajar merupakan indikator dari capaian tujuan pembelajaran. Adapun baik buruknya hasil belajar bisa dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor terkait, bisa yang berasal dari luar siswa ataupun dari dalam diri siswa. Dengan mengetahui faktor-faktor tersebut diharapkan mampu menunjang tercapainya hasil belajar yang memuaskan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh status sosial ekonomi, teman sebaya dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran PJOK. Subyek penelitian ini adalah 203 siswa kelas VII SMPN 42 Surabaya yang terdiri dari 90 siswa laki-laki dan 113 siswa perempuan. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes dan angket. Tes digunakan untuk mengukur hasil belajar dan angket digunakan untuk mengetahui status sosial ekonomi, teman sebaya dan motivasi berprestasi siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Regresi Linier Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada variabel status sosial ekonomi tidak berpengaruh pada semua aspek hasil belajar. Variabel motivasi berprestasi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap semua aspek hasil belajar dan pada variabel teman sebaya berpengaruh signifikan pada hasil belajar aspek afektif akan tetapi tidak berpengaruh pada hasil belajar aspek kognitif dan psikomotor. Sedangkan secara simultan ketiga variabel tersebut mampu memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap semua aspek hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PJOK.

Abstract

The first covid-19 case was founded in Indonesia on March 2020. Then, Indonesian government then announced the study from home policy a few weeks afterward. The teaching learning activity needs to be conducted by online teaching. This study aimed to evaluate the online teaching process at Physical Education subject. There were 447 physical education teachers were involved in this study. The Physical Education Online Learning Scale (PEOLS) was developed and used as research instrument in this study. The construct validity and reliability of PEOLS are 63.288 % and α = .880. The data were analyzed by independent t-tens and one-way anova based on gender (male/female), school status (public/private), and age groups. The result, there are significant different on age and teaching place. Younger teachers are facing less difficulties in online teaching (sig. >0.05). Furthermore, the teachers who teach in the public area have more beneficial in their teaching process (sig. >0.05). In Conclusion, the online teaching learning activity during covid-19 pandemic were influenced by the teachers’ capability of using internet and the accessibility of online teaching facility.

Abstract

The influence of the mastery of Arabic structure on the ability to translate Arabic into Indonesian. The Department of Arabic Language Education prepares its students to become professional Arabic teachers by developing a special curriculum. Among the courses in the curriculum considered as the most important to be mastered by the students are Nahwu courses, because other Arabic language sciences are always related to Nahwu and the number of credits for Nahwu courses is more than other subjects, but many students do not able to translate well. This study aims to determine the effect of the mastery of Arabic structure on seventh semester PBA students on their ability to translate Arabic into Indonesian. In this study, the researcher carried out the following research steps: observations in the PBA department, interviews the head of the department, several students and several PBA lecturers, and distributing the tests to the 7th semester students. The results of the study indicate that students' mastery of the Arabic language structure is quite good with an average value of 6.33 while the ability to translate it is lacking with an average value of 5.1. The correlation between mastery of Arabic structure and ability to translate Arabic into Indonesian is in the medium category with a correlation value of 0.64. After the researchers analyzed the data above, the researcher found that the influence of mastery of Arabic structure on the ability to translate Arabic into Indonesian was 41%, so there were other factors that influenced the ability to translate Arabic into Indonesian which reached 59%.
