Abstract

This research illustrates the influence of economic growth, domestic investment and  government expenditure to distribution income in Indonesia with variables (1) GDP per capita, (2) Domestic Investment and (3) Goverment  Expenditure. This research uses panel data from 2012-2017, which consist 32 province in Indonesia, by using a method linear regression and use Fixed Effect Model (FEM). the results obtained from this research is (1) Economic growth has a negative significant effect to inequality income in Indonesia. (2) Domestic investment has negative effect but not significant to inequality income in Indonesia. (3) Goverment expenditure has a positive and significant effect to inequality income in Indonesia

Abstract

This study aims to look at the effect of macroeconomic variables on the rupiah exchange rate, which in this study involves variables from internal and external factors. The independent variables used are inflation, interest rates, gold prices and foreign debt, and the dependent variable is the exchange rate. This study uses time series data in the country of Indonesia with a span of quarter 1 in 2009 to 4 in 2018. The research model uses multiple linear regression with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results showed that inflation and interest rates did not significantly influence the rupiah exchange rate. However, the price of gold and foreign debt have a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh variabel makroekonomi terhadap Inflasi di ASEAN-5. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data panel dari tahun 2009 sampai dengan tahun 2019 yang diambil dari World Bank, ASEAN Statistics dan International Financial Statistics (IFS). Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi data panel dengan Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Narrow Money, Broad Money dan Kurs sebagai variabel independen serta Inflasi sebagai variabel dependen. Hasil penelitian ini adalah variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi dan broad money berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap inflasi di ASEAN-5. Di sisi lain, variabel narrow money berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap inflasi di ASEAN-5. Sedangkan variabel kurs berpengaruh positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap inflasi di ASEAN-5.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of Education Level, Health Level and Gender on the Labor Force Participation Rate in West Sumatra. This research uses panel data from 2017 to 2021 in 19 regencies/cities in West Sumatra which are sourced from the Central Bureau of Statistics. Before using the regression, the Chow test and Hausman test were carried out and the results of the analysis showed that the selected model was the Random Effect Model (REM)). The results of the study reveal that: (1) Education Level has a significant effect on the Labor Force Participation Rate in West Sumatra (2) Health Level has no significant effect on the Labor Force Participation Rate in West Sumatra (3) Gender has a significant effect on the Labor Force Participation Rate in West Sumatra . These findings confirm the role of the labor force participation rate in increasing the effectiveness of economic development. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested to the Government that it is necessary to increase the ease of access to education for the community. So that in the future there will be an increase in labor force participation in West Sumatra. labor force participation in West Sumatra.
