Abstract

This service discusses the importance of business legality in improving the quality and competitiveness of MSMEs in Warunggunung Village, Warunggunung Subdistrict, Lebak Regency. Business legality, such as the Business Identification Number (NIB), Home Industry Food Production Certificate (PIRT), and Halal Certification, are crucial aspects that are often overlooked by micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), which can limit market access and reduce consumer trust. This mentoring program aims to assist MSMEs in the village in obtaining business legality through socialization, training, and intensive mentoring. The program involves collaboration between universities, local governments, and related institutions. The results of the program show a significant increase in MSMEs' understanding of the importance of business legality, with an increase from 40% to 93% after the program was implemented. In conclusion, this program successfully raised awareness and fulfillment of business legality among MSMEs, which in turn contributes to the improvement of their product competitiveness and quality in the market.Keywords: Legality, MSMEs, Competitiveness

Abstract

This research aims to (1) analyze the form of legal protection of Debus art both in cultural advancement regulation and in copyright; and (2) propose a Model that is appropriate in enhancing the role of related stakeholders in Banten Province for the implementation of Debus protection. This research falls under normative juridical research emphasizing secondary data supported by interviews with informants as supporters, examining positive law (IPR/Copyright and Cultural Advancement). The output of this research is targeted for a scientific publication in the form of a model to increase the role of stakeholders for the protection of Debus Banten. The research results show that 1. The form of legal protection of Debus art needs to be enhanced not only through preservation carried out by Debus performers and their associations, but also stakeholder synergy in regulation, promotion, and education. There are 4 pillars namely protection, development, guidance, and utilization, which are continuously strived for optimally. 2. The appropriate model in enhancing the role of related stakeholders in Banten Province for the implementation of Debus protection, with the optimization of the role of local governments in implementing 4 pillars, plus partnership patterns and partisanship

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in the way humans communicate, especially in written form. This article discusses the transformation of written language from short messages (texting) to the use of social media such as Twitter, which demands a more concise, creative and interactive communication style. Using a sociolinguistic approach, this research explores how technical constraints, such as the number of characters in a post, as well as social dynamics in the digital world, influence the structure and use of language. Research findings show that social media encourages the development of new forms of written language, such as abbreviations, acronyms, the use of emoji’s, and code-switching between languages. Apart from that, the phenomenon of viral in social media also contributes to the spread and normalization of new terms in various linguistic communities. In a broader context, these changes not only impact individual communication patterns but also influence language standards in educational, journalistic and professional domains. The implications of this transformation include the need for a deeper understanding of language adaptation in the digital realm and its impact on people's literacy competencies. Apart from that, this research also highlights the importance of linguistic policies that can balance digital language innovation and preserving standard language rules. Thus, this study provides insight into how the digital era has changed the way humans communicate in writing and how these changes continue to evolve as technology advances.

Abstract

characteristics and behaviors shaped by the digital era. As this generation is highly connected to technology and social media, companies face the challenge of harnessing their potential to drive creativity and innovation. This study examines the role of social media platforms in enhancing employee creativity through knowledge sharing among Gen Z employees in Serang City, Banten. Despite their digital fluency, innovation and creativity among Gen Z employess in the region have shown a decline over recent years. This research uses a quantitative approach, employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) to analyze data from 105 respondents. The results reveal that both work-related social media and social-related social media have a positive and significant impact on knowledge sharing, which in turn, enhances employee creativity.

Abstract

Effective cross-cultural communication is essential in today’s globalized workplace, where employees from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds interact daily. Pragmatics, which examines how meaning is conveyed beyond literal words, plays a crucial role in ensuring mutual understanding and minimizing misinterpretations. This literature review explores the intersection of pragmatics and cross-cultural communication, analyzing its impact on employee performance. Key aspects such as speech acts, implicate, politeness strategies, and context-dependent meaning are examined in relation to workplace dynamics. Findings suggest that pragmatic competence enhances collaboration, reduces conflicts, and fosters a more inclusive work environment, ultimately improving employee productivity and job satisfaction. However, challenges such as cultural biases, misaligned communication expectations, and power distance issues may hinder effective pragmatic adaptation. The review highlights the need for targeted training programs and organizational policies that promote pragmatic awareness to optimize intercultural workplace interactions. Future research should further investigate industry-specific applications and the role of technology in facilitating pragmatic competence across cultures.

Abstract

Sexual violence on social media is a serious threat to children, especially in the school environment which should be a safe and child-friendly space. Lack of digital literacy, weak monitoring systems, and students' ignorance of forms of online sexual violence cause many cases to go undetected or unreported. This study aims to explore the forms of sexual violence experienced by students through social media and the role of schools, parents, and the community in protection efforts. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach at SMPIT Bait Et-Tauhid school with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation of teachers, students, principals, and parents. The results of the study show that sexual violence occurs in the form of obscene messages, requests for personal content, to verbal harassment that is often considered trivial. The role of parents and schools is still limited to general supervision without adequate digital education. The community also tends to be unresponsive to the issue of online sexual violence. This study emphasizes the importance of collaboration between parties and strengthening digital literacy to build an effective child protection system, in line with the mandate of Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection and the ITE Law in creating a safe digital environment in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to get detailed answers to the differences between consumption concepts fromconventional and Islamic perspectives. Face to face comparison is believed to provide a complete picture of thedifferences in these two perspectives. The method used to answer the above problems is by qualitativemethods, precisely the method of literature. The results of the in-depth study show that there are veryessential differences between the concepts of consumption according to conventional and Islamic perspectives.The difference is not only in values, principles, but also in the application of daily application. This researchgives a new perpective in the scientific repertoire of consumption concepts according to Islam because it is ableto present differences face to face to get clarity on a phenomenon.

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to explore the implementation and significance of Ashura commemoration in Nangka Bugang Village, highlighting its role in preserving Islamic traditions and fostering social cohesion within the local community. Method: The study utilized participatory observation and in-depth interviews with community leaders to understand the rituals and social values associated with Ashura in this region. Practical Application: The findings emphasize Ashura’s role in strengthening community bonds. This research can inform efforts to preserve cultural traditions and enhance social unity in similar communities. Conclusion: Ashura commemoration in Nangka Bugang Village is both a spiritual and social event, contributing to cultural preservation and community solidarity. The study provides insights into the importance of religious observances in promoting social cohesion.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service aims to improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in Pagar Agung Village by addressing low legal awareness through halal certification counseling, NIB registration, and trademark assistance. Method: The program involved MSME identification, counseling, technical assistance, and monitoring to support participants in completing business legality processes. Practical Application: Around 70% of participants began the registration processes, leading to improved consumer trust and market access. The program offers a replicable model for enhancing MSME competitiveness. Conclusion: The initiative increased legal awareness and had a positive impact on MSME growth. Continued support is needed to help all participants complete the legality process and remain competitive.
