Abstract The development of digital technology has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the way people access and use financial services. Financial technology (fintech) offers convenience in transactions and financial management, but also brings its own challenges, especially in encouraging consumptive behavior, especially among teenagers who are still in the stage of forming character and financial mindset. This study aims to improve financial literacy and educate about controlling consumptive behavior through a direct educational approach to Mawar Sharon High School students. The implementation method is in the form of counseling activities and interactive discussions that actively involve students, with materials covering basic understanding of fintech, types of digital financial services (such as e-wallets, paylater, and online investments), and strategies in managing expenses and avoiding waste. The results of the activities showed an increase in students' understanding of the importance of personal financial management and the potential risks of using fintech unwisely. This education is expected to form financial awareness from an early age and encourage the creation of a young generation that is smart and responsible in making financial decisions in the digital era. Keywords: financial technology; financial literacy; consumptive behaviour; digital technology.

Abstract

The Community Partnership Empowerment Program for the Delta Samudera Timur Group was carried out in Dusun Tegalsari Dukuh Kupang, Jabon District, Sidoarjo Regency. This activity was implemented to address the clean water crisis caused by brackish water conditions that are not suitable for consumption. The main objective is to improve access to clean and consumable water while also promoting gender equality in coastal communities. Efforts were made through the installation of a brackish water purification system utilizing local materials (ALPAMAL), along with gender-based mentoring that emphasizes the distribution of domestic roles and economic opportunities. The implementation began with a community needs survey, followed by the construction and installation of the purification system, and concluded with an evaluation through post-activity interviews. The results showed that the technology successfully produced clean water for both consumption and household needs. The mentoring also increased men’s awareness and participation in domestic work, while opening new business opportunities for women, such as community-based culinary ventures. This program demonstrates that the combination of environmentally friendly technology and social approaches can serve as a catalyst for improving the quality of life and transforming gender relations in coastal areas.

Abstract

The coastal community of Tegalsari Hamlet, Dukuh Kupang Village, Sidoarjo, is facing a clean water crisis due to dependence on brackish water sources with Total Dissolved Solid (TDS) reaching 6000 mg/L, which is considered very dangerous. To overcome this problem, the community service team developed a brackish water purifier based on local materials (ALPAMAL) using environmentally friendly technology. This activity uses the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method combined with service learning, involving the community in every stage, from identifying problems, designing the tool, to implementation and evaluation. The survey results showed that 96% of the community wanted ALPAMAL for clean water needs, and 93% were willing to maintain the tool. This program proves that simple, participation-based technology can be a sustainable solution in dealing with the air crisis in coastal areas, as well as increasing community independence in managing air resources.

Abstract

Abstract

Stocks are one of the investment products in financial markets that need to be understood in terms of risk and return, where changes in stock returns can be influenced by external and internal factors. This study aims to determine the significant effect of real interest rates, inflation, exchange rates, and gross domestic product on property sector stock returns on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) in the 2012-2019 period. This period shows a fluctuating property market cycle due to changes in external factors, namely the economy and politics in Indonesia. Public companies in the property and real estate sector are listed on the IDX, with a total of 67 companies selected with certain criteria; 26 companies were selected. Secondary data obtained from the World Bank and Bank Indonesia were tested using panel data regression. The test results show that real interest rates, inflation, and exchange rates have a significant effect on stock returns, but the gross domestic product has no significant effect. This research proves the importance of the government's role in maintaining the economic and political stability of a country so that investors are interested in investing in the stock market. Contributions from the property and real estate sector in driving the economy from upstream to downstream also need government support regarding regulations and taxation.
