Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian tentang Pengembangan Alat Penilaian Berbasis Kompetensi pada mata kuliah Desain Tata Rias pada kompetensi Pembuatan Tata Rias Fantasi berdasarkan sumber ide/ tema menggunakan alat penilaian portofolio dilaksanakan  dengan  tujuan (1) untuk mengetahui kelayakan alat penilaian berbasis portofolio dan (2) untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa terhadap model pembelajaran berbasis portofolio pada mata kuliah desain tata rias. Penelitian ini  dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa program studi S1 Pendidikan Tata Rias  Jurusan Pendidikan kesejahteraan Keluarga Fakultas Teknik yang memprogram mata kuliah Desain Tata Rias pada semester genap 2015/2016. Rancangan penelitian menggunakan 4-D model, yaitu (1) Define, (2) Design, (3) Develope, dan (4) Determinate. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar  validasi perangkat pembelajaran mata kuliah Desain Tata Rias pada kompetensi Pembuatan Tata Rias Fantasi Berdasarkan Sumber Ide/ Tema dan lembar penilaian portofolio. Data dalam penelitian ini dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; (1) Alat penilaian portofolio pada mata kuliah desain Tata Rias Layak untuk digunakan pada proses pembelajaran Desain Tata Rias kompetensipembuatan desain tata rias fantasi berdasar sumber ide; (2) Hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah Desain Tata Rias kompetensipembuatan desain tata rias fantasi berdasar sumber ide yang dinilai melalui portofolio yang telah dibuat oleh mahasiswa menunjukkan hasil yang baik.                                                                                                                 Kata Kunci: alat penilaian, hasil belajar, portofolio. ABSTRACTResearch on Development Tool Based Assessment of Competence in the subject of Design Makeup on competence Making Makeup Fantasy based sources of ideas / themes using a portfolio assessment carried out with the purpose of (1) to determine the feasibility of an assessment tool based on the portfolio and (2) to assess learning outcomes students' learning model portfolio based on the design of cosmetology courses. Abstract

MAN 2 Madiun merupakan jenjang sekolah formal dimana diberikan pendidikan umum dan pendidikan agama. Selain pendidikan formal disekolah, siswa MAN 2 Madiun membutuhkan keterampilan yang dapat digunakan untuk menghadapi berbagai tantangan hidup. Salah satu keterampilan yang dibutuhkan adalah keterampilan make up karnaval. Tujuan dari pelatihan make up karnaval adalah meningkatkan keterampilan, menumbuhkan jiwa berwirausaha dan meningkatkan lifeskill siswa. Pelaksanaan pelatihan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dengan metode demonstrasi. Hasil pelatihan dinilai dengan teknik observasi untuk melihat keberhasilan dari pelatihan. Hasil dari pelatihan didapatkan 25% peserta melakukan make up dengan sangat rapi dan 65% rapi, 40% peserta menggunakan kombinasi warna yang sangat baik dan 60% baik, 60% peserta membuat gambar diwajah sangat sesuai dengan desain dan 25% sesuai desain, serta 25% peserta hasil make up keseluruhan sangat baik dan 75% baik. Tanggapan peserta terhadap kegiatan pelatihan make up karnaval diperoleh hampir 100% memberikan respon yang positif.

Abstract

Hijab styling training for modern Muslim brides was given to 23 double track students at SMA Progresif Bumi Shalawat to foster an entrepreneurial spirit. The training was carried out using a direct learning model with a demonstration method. Assessment of training results was carried out through direct observation by two observers from Unesa. The training results were obtained for neatness of the hijab 82.4% Very good, 17.4% Good, Difficulty Level of Styling; 47.8%) Very good 52.2% Good, Suitability to Face Shape 73.9% Very good and 26.1% Good. The response of participants to the training was obtained, almost all students gave a positive response and wanted to hold another training with a different theme. In addition to being able to increase creativity through the training provided, Unesa through the Makeup Education Study Program can establish good cooperation with SMA Progresif Bumi Shalawat.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of the use of the BeautyLearn platform in improving technical and managerial skills in beauty businesses. The research method used is a survey with data collection through questionnaires distributed to entrepreneurs and workers in the beauty sector. The results showed that BeautyLearn had a significant positive impact, with 80% of respondents reporting an improvement in technical skills in the areas of makeup, skincare, and haircuts, and 75% experiencing an improvement in managerial skills, such as digital marketing and financial management. In addition, 85% of respondents appreciated the platform's flexibility in providing learning materials that can be accessed anytime and anywhere. However, around 50% of respondents experienced technical problems, such as unstable internet connections and difficulties in understanding some technical materials. Abstract

The Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia (KBRI) in Manila has residents who live around the KBRI or are commonly called Local Staff and Home Staff. They consist of workers in the KBRI itself or independent workers. The Local Staff and Home Staff are male and female workers, however, more of them are women. They need other skills to support their main skills as workers. Unesa through the Community Service Team of the Makeup Education Study Program answers this need by providing training in nail art skills with the aim of providing capital for entrepreneurship in the beauty sector (beauty preneurship). The training is carried out using lecture, demonstration and guided practice methods. Through the training, the response obtained was positive and cooperation was established between the Local Staff and Home Staff of the Indonesian Embassy in Manila with the Makeup Education Study Program. and can improve the entrepreneurial spirit and creativity through the skills provided.

Abstract

The insufficient involvement of students in the academic process affect their academic performance. Therefore, peer tutoring method is selected to foster students to engage more proactively in the educational process by having them serve as peer trainers. The intent of this research is to examine the impact of peer tutoring method on student activeness, improves learning outcomes, and how students respond to the use of this method. The study employs a quantitative approach with 26 twelfth-grade students as the research subjects. The data were obtained through observation, learning outcome tests, and questionnaires, with data analysis involving mean calculations, paired sample t-tests, and one-sample t-tests. The findings of the study are as follows: 1) Student activeness received an average score of 3.57, indicating a "very good" level of engagement. 2) Analysis of learning outcomes revealed a significant distinction, with a calculated t-value of 12.640 exceeding the critical t-value of 2.06, reflecting an increase of 24.04. A one-sample t-test yielded a calculated t-value of 5.734, , also greater than the critical t-value of 2.06, confirming that the average psychomotor score of 80.88 surpassed the minimum competency criterion of 75. 3) Student responses, with an average score of 3.34, were classified as "very good." These evidence shows that the peer tutoring method is effective in enhancing learning outcomes in the study of traditional Ciwidey hairstyles at SMK Negeri 1 Lamongan. Abstract

The development of this HOTS-based teaching module is the development of a teaching module which aims to help students get used to thinking critically and creatively in learning activities with the help of HOTS (high level thinking) which is applied in the teaching module to help students get used to thinking critically and creatively in learning activities . Finding out how HOTS-based teaching modules were developed at SMKN 2 Jombang, their viability, student learning results, and student reactions to utilizing them with cikatri makeup material are the goals of the study. R&D (Research and Development) is the sort of research that is used. Overall media feasibility may be classified as "Very Feasible" based on study findings on the viability of learning modules. The average score for the structure of teaching modules is 92%, and the average score for the preparation of teaching modules is 88%. According to research findings, 86.7% of student learning outcomes in the cognitive area were deemed complete. Students might be classified as "Very Eligible" or 81-100% based on the evaluation results of their replies, which were 93.3%. According to these findings, the creation of teaching modules based on HOTS is highly appropriate for use as a learning tool to enhance cognitive learning outcomes and get excellent feedback from students.

Abstract

Self-image satisfaction that individuals have is closely related to how individuals view their self-image and self-confidence. Individuals who experience self-image dissatisfaction will appear to engage in behavior related to self-image, namely the efforts made to support their appearance. One of the behaviors that arise is the behavior in applying makeup. This study aims to determine the relationship between daily makeup behavior and self-confidence of female family welfare education students at Surabaya State University and factors that influence daily makeup behavior. Respondents in this study were students of the Family Welfare Education clump at Surabaya State University, class of 2020, consisting of 3 study programs, namely S-1 Cosmetology Education, S-1 Culinary Education, and S-1 Fashion Education. The type of makeup used is everyday makeup. The data analysis technique used was the SPSS-assisted Rank Spearman correlation test. It was found that there was a high positive correlation between daily makeup behavior and self-confidence of female Family Welfare Education students with a correlation coefficient value of 0.879 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the bivariate analysis of variables, it was found that the factors that influence makeup behavior are internal factors consisting of 1) level of knowledge 2) self-awareness 3) confidence in one's own abilities and external factors, namely environmental factors that stimulate the emergence of daily makeup behavior from the stages of awareness, interest, evaluation, trial, and adoption. The relationship between daily makeup behavior and self-confidence of female Family Welfare Education students at Surabaya State University is positively correlated, which means that if female students increase their daily makeup behavior, their self-confidence will also increase. Abstract

This research seeks to create a technology-based pigmentation facial care learning module that is relevant to the implementation of technology in facial health at SMKN 3 Kediri. The ADDIE model is structured into five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and assessment. The use of pre- and post-test control group designs is common in this type of research. To obtain quantitative data, skills tests are used which are carried out on material experts, media experts, and other aptitude tests, knowledge tests, etc. Quantitative data is used to test the suitability of material experts, media experts, knowledge tests and skills tests. The results of data analysis by media experts obtained an average score of 4.80 (very decent). The results of analysis by material experts obtained an average score of 4.63 (very decent). Student learning outcomes are significantly different when using (advanced) learning modules compared to traditional methods, as shown by the knowledge competency learning outcomes. Students do not fall below the minimum proficiency level as a result of learning skills. This means that the modules developed can help improve learning outcomes in knowledge and skills competencies.

Abstract

The subject of Anatomy and Physiology is often considered difficult by students due to its complex terminology and less engaging teaching methods, resulting in many students scoring below the minimum competency threshold of 75. The teaching model used by educators significantly impacts learning success. Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is an effective approach, but maintaining student engagement and motivation remains a challenge. This study integrates PBL with the interactive media Kahoot to create a more engaging learning experience. The research focuses on the implementation of the PBL model, improvement in student achievement, and student responses. A pre-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design was conducted on 32 Phase E TKKR students at SMK Labschool UNESA 1 Surabaya. Data were collected through cognitive tests, observations, and questionnaires. The results showed a significant improvement in student learning outcomes, with a t-value of 18.839 and a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. Additionally, 93% of students responded positively to the use of Kahoot, recognizing its role in enhancing interaction and providing quick feedback. Thus, the combination of PBL and Kahoot is proven to be effective in improving student learning outcomes and engagement in Anatomy and Physiology lessons.
