Abstract

Kemunculan Madia Massa Islam (media cetak) dimulai pada awal abad ke-20, bersamaan dengan lahir dan menyebarnya ide-ide reformasi yang berkembang di Timur Tengah, terutama dari Mesir. Ide-ide tentang reformasi itu setidaknya menyebar melalui dua majalah terkemuka Mesir, Urwatul Wutsqo dan Al Manar. Penyebaran ide ini begitu luas, hingga ke Jawa, dan melahirkan gerakan Jami’at Khair. Hal tersebut dapat disebut sebagai “lawan dakwah” yang harus dihadapi dan diubah, agar tidak membawa manusia kepada derajat yang rendah. Lawan dakwah adalah semua bentuk kemungkaran yang berkaitan dengan studi  komunikasi seperti pesan atau konten yang berisi kebohongan, manipulasi, fitnah, kekerasan, dan fornografi serta citra dan opini public yang tidak berpihak kepada dakwah. Terlepas dari kemasan atau pun tampilan, keberadaan media massa Islam sebagai media dakwah sedikit banyaknya telah berperan aktif dalam pembentukan karakter bangsa Indonesia. Dan media massa Islam di sini bukan hanya dilakukan oleh orang-orang yang semata-mata memang berhaluan kesana, misalnya pesantren, ulama, dan sebagainya. Namun, kini banyak orang atau lembaga yang tidak terlalu fokus pun banyak yang menerbitkan yang namanya media massa Islam.

Abstract

This study entitled Stereotypes of Minangkabau Students towards Acehnese Students (Study of Minangkabau Students). This research focuses on the stereotypes that Minangkabau students have towards Acehnese students and the stereotypical factors. Stereotypes are overly generalized, too easy, simplified or exaggerated beliefs about a group. The purpose of this study is to find out what stereotypes Minangkabau students have towards Acehnese students and the stereotypical factors that Minangkabau students have towards these Acehnese students. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach using the theory of symbolic interactionism. To get accurate data and informants, the data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that stereotypes of Minangkabau students towards Acehnese students were dominated by negative stereotypes.AbstrakPenelitian ini berjudul Stereotip Mahasiswa Minangkabau terhadap Mahasiswa Suku Aceh (Studi pada Mahasiswa Minangkabau). Penelitian ini berfokus kepada stereotip yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa Minangkabau terhadap mahasiswa suku Aceh serta faktor terbentuknya stereotip tersebut. Stereotip merupakan keyakinan yang terlalu digeneralisasikan, terlalu dibuat mudah, disederhanakan atau dilebih-lebihkan mengenai suatu kelompok. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui stereotip apa saja yang dimiliki oleh mahasiswa Minangkabau terhadap mahasiswa suku Aceh dan faktor penyebab dari stereotip yang dimiliki mahasiswa Minangkabau terhadap mahasiswa suku Aceh tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif bersifat deskriptif dengan menggunakan teori interaksionisme simbolik. Untuk mendapatkan data dan informan yang akurat maka teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan stereotip yang dimiliki mahasiswa Minangkabau terhadap mahasiswa suku Aceh didominasi oleh stereotip negatif.

Abstract

Intercultural communication is the process by which the ideas of one culture are transferred to another culture. The purpose of this study is to explain the strategy of cultural communication between students from Papua and Aceh students in forming harmonious social interactions at Malikussaleh University. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach using the theory of William Gudykunts. In obtaining complete and accurate data and information in the study, the data collection used in this study was observation and interviews. The data analysis technique used in this research is data reduction, data presentation, and data inference. The results showed that there were three strata of cultural communication strategies carried out by Papuan students with Acehnese students. First, understand and use good language. Second, understand the norms and character of the interlocutor. Third, positive prejudice against the interlocutor and promote good values.

Abstract

This study identifies and analyzes symbolic messages in the petawaren tradition in Blangkejeren District, Gayo Lues Regency. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the petawaren tradition is one part of Gayo culture which is carried out in welcoming various important events in life. Petawaren is carried out by inviting village elders. The procession of the petawaren tradition requires several main equipment which is prepared by the party who has the intention. The equipment used in this petawaren procession has been mutually agreed upon since time immemorial, including rice and water in a container mixed with celala, dedingin, bebesi, batang teguh, sesampi, and other flowers in an odd number and tied in one knot. The petawaren tradition means prayer and hope so that Allah SWT will always be given safety, blessings, and prosperity.ABSTRAKStudi ini mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis pesan simbolik dalam tradisi petawaren di Kecamatan Blangkejeren, Kabupaten Gayo Lues. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data antara lain observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi petawaren adalah salah satu bagian budaya Gayo yang dilakukan dalam menyambut berbagai peristiwa penting dalam kehidupan. Petawaren dilaksanakan dengan mengundang tetua kampung. Prosesi tradisi petawaren membutuhkan beberapa perlengkapan utama yang dipersiapkan oleh pihak yang mempunyai hajat. Perlengkapan yang digunakan dalam prosesi petawaren ini telah disepakati bersama sejak dahulu kala, antara lain beras dan air dalam wadah yang dicampur celala, dedingin, bebesi, batang teguh, sesampi, dan bunga lainnya yang berjumlah ganjil dan diikat dalam satu ikatan. Tradisi petawaren bermakna doa dan harapan agar senantiasa diberi keselamatan, keberkatan, dan kesejahteraan oleh Allah SWT.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of political imagery done by political parties for their female politicians. The constructivist paradigm with a descriptive qualitative approach is used in this study. The informants were the chairman of the DPC of the Democratic Party, the PPP Party, the PKB Party, the chairman of the PDI-P DPD, and female politicians from these parties. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Interactive Model Data Analysis method. The results show that the political parties establish a positive image of women politicians, including involving all women members of the political party in every activity carried out by the party, both in a formal party and non-formal activities within the community. In every activity in the community, political parties attempted to provide the public with an understanding of the importance of the presence of women in the political space, because women will understand women's needs and produce feminist policies. The political imagery was done through political communication media, interpersonal (face to face), groups, mainstream media, and modern media. Political image establishment attempted by political parties for female politicians still has not shown a promising direction. Therefore, political parties must form a positive image for female politicians of their parties. This should be done massively by utilising various media of political communication, involving all community groups, such as the Ulama, Academics, and Non-Governmental Organisations.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and produce a relational marketing strategy for the Legend of Tapaktuan tourist attraction. This research used relational theory and emphasized partnership and collaboration with the aim of a sustainable tourism program. Indicators in related programs can relate to the relationship between various parties involved in the tourism industry. The problem formulation in this study is the ideal marketing strategy for the Legend of Tapaktuan tourist attraction in Aceh Province. This study used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the South Aceh District Tourism Office has tried to promote not only through out-of-town trips but also through online media. To make the Tapaktuan Legend tourist attraction more advanced, the South Aceh District Government carried out the first promotion strategy, advertising and promoting Tour Travel Online services on a number of social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. The government also offers a number of tour packages by participating in expo activities outside the region to introduce and re-promote tourist destinations, especially the Tapaktuan Legend tourist attraction as an icon of South Aceh. Tourists only need to download an application that provides many features that can be used, such as directions, maps, lodging, and how to get to the location. This application also provides a transportation feature that will make it easier for tourists to visit tourist sites.

Abstract

Milkfish Processing Training for the Seumadu Island Community, Batuphat Barat Village, Muara Satu District, Lhokseumawe City is important to carry out, because nowdays Lhokseumawe - Aceh, is experiencing the Covid-19 pandemic which affects almost all sectors of the community's economy, including the tourism sector, so that it can boost the community's economy, especially the family economy, because milkfish has been a side sector for the people on Seumadu Island in addition to the tourism sector. There is also a method that is designed in this presto milkfish processing training to involve two groups of people who live in the tourism area of Seumadu Island, including: a group of housewives, and a youth group of Karang Taruna. Then these activities are also trained by experts in their fields who have experience in conducting fish processing training outside Aceh. Among the various types of fish, milkfish is one of the fish that is easy to find and has a lot of nutrition, because it contains many spines so that it is less attractive to the public. Then, milkfish also smells of earth, so many people do not like it. The smell of earth in fish can be caused by the presence of geosmin compounds produced by the fungus Actinomycetes and blue algae Oscillatoria tenus. This often occurs in ponds that are shallow and located far from the sea (land ponds), with this training, it can make milkfish taste more delicious and odorless, so that it can be liked by the general public.

Abstract

The development of technology and social media, particularly TikTok, has grown significantly as a promotional tool that provides information without high costs, requires minimal effort, and can be done in a short amount of time. The beauty industry leverages TikTok as a promotional medium through content featuring women with smooth and beautiful faces. This study uses the AISAS Model as the theoretical foundation to guide the collection of relevant and appropriate data for the research. This study aims to understand the perception of beauty in watching Skintific skincare product content on TikTok. Using a quantitative research method, this study is based on observation, questionnaire distribution, and documentation. The population in this study comprises Communication Science students at Universitas Malikussaleh from the 2020-2023 cohorts, totaling 984 individuals. The sample in this study is 91 respondents. The validity test results show that all the statements in this study have a value greater than the critical value (rtable) of 0.206. The normality test results indicate an Asymp. A sig value of 0.065, which is greater than the significance level of 0.05, suggests that the data is normally distributed. The coefficient of determination (R2) test results in an R Square value of 0.327. This indicates that there is a perception of beauty effect among respondents after watching Skintific skincare product content on TikTok.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini berjudul Komunikasi Antarbudaya Melalui Speech Code Dan Code Switching (Studi di Gampong Paya Laba Kecamatan Kluet Timur Kabupaten Aceh Selatan). Gampong Paya laba merupakan merupakan desa dengan keragaman Bahasa yang berasal dari 3 suku berbeda antara lain suku Aneuk Jamee, Kluet dan Aceh. Masyarakatnya hidup harmonis meskipun dalam perbedaan latar belakang. Penelitian ini berfokus pada bagaimana proses komunikasi sesama masyarakat dengan latar belakang Bahasa dan suku yang berbeda serta bagaimana upaya masyarakat menjaga keharmonisan dalam keragaman bahasa dan suku melalui komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori Speech Code dan Code Switching. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwasanya terdapat 60 Speech Code  yang di gunakan dalam komunikasi yang kemudian di pisahkan menjadi 2 yaitu kode yang mempunya arti halus dan kode yang berarti kasar, namun baik Speech Code maupun Code Switching, penggunaannya  di bedakan ke dalam 5 ranah yaitu ranah keluarga, pergaulan masyarakat, Pendidikan, pemerintahan dan ranah agama. Pada situasi komunikasi kelompok, masyarkat gampong Paya Laba melakukan Situational code-switching yaitu menyesuaikan dengan situasi yang sedang berlangsung Ketika harus beralih Bahasa. Meskipun pada umumnya masyarakat berlatar belakang suku Aneuk Jamee, mereka juga menguasai bahasa Aceh dan bahasa Kluet. Penelitian ini menyarankan untuk Majelis Adat Aceh (MAA) dan dinas pariwisata Aceh selatan untuk dapat menjaga kelestarikan bahasa daerah serta dapat menjaga keharmonisan bermasyarakat di wilayah aceh selatan secara keseluruhan tanpa ada konflik antarbudaya layaknya gampong Paya Laba.

Abstract

Adapun judul penelitian ini adalah “Analisis Tahapan Isu Getaran Mesin PLTMG Arun 2 Oleh Humas PT. Sumber daya Sewatama Dalam Merespon Keluhan Masyarakat Lingkungan”. Adapun data yang telah diperoleh adalah data bersifat kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yang terdiri dari berupa observasi, wawancara yang berstruktur, analisi data, studi dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Model yang digunakan sebagai sebagai pendukung analisis adalah model proses manajemen isu. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan bagaimana analisis tahapan isu getaran mesin PLTMG Arun 2 oleh humas PT. Sumber daya Sewatama dalam merespon keluhan masyarakat lingkungan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah Isu yang menimpa PT. Sumber daya Sewatama merupakan isu-isu selektif, yakni isu-isu yang hanya memengaruhi kelompok tertentu. Isu yang berkembang dimasyarakat juga merupakan isu fakta, isu fakta adalah isu yang kebenaran nya tidak perlu dipertentangkan lagi. Kemudian Humas PT. Sumberdaya Sewatama melakukan manajemen isu di setiap tahapan isu untuk menangani keluhan masyarakat dan juga memperbaiki hubungan dengan masyarakat lingkungan agar mencegah timbulnya kembali isu-isu yang baru di masa yang akan datang.
