Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of principal leadership in improving teacher performance and see the development of teacher discipline habits in carrying out their duties, especially through exemplary discipline and performance guided by the principal and positive habits built in the daily lives of teachers, and to identify challenges faced in its implementation in school activities. The research method used is a qualitative method. Qualitative methods are a research methodology that aims to collect and summarize research results obtained through observation, interviews and documentation, and analyze interview results with previous research. The results of the study indicate that the role of principal leadership is able to improve teacher performance in schools and has a significant impact on forming good performance and discipline that can bring changes to school progress, such as honesty, discipline, and responsibility. In conclusion, the role of principal leadership has a very significant influence on efforts to improve teacher performance in schools through targeted methods and rules.

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease that causes pain, stiffness, swelling and limitation of motion. It is thought to be caused by autoimmune and infection factors. In Indonesia the number of people with Rheumatoid arthritis in 2011 is estimated to reach 29.35% prevalence, in 2012 the prevalence of 39.47%, and the year 2013 prevalence of 45.59% and in 2014 Prevalence of Rheumatoid arthritis in West Java of 41.7 %. finger hold technique is one of relaxation techniques with fingers and energy flow in the body to reduce pain in Rheumatoid Arthritis. This research has a purpose to know Effect of Hand Finger Relaxation Against Pain Intensity In Elderly With Rheumatoid Arthritis in Social Institution Tresna Werdha Budi Pertiwi Bandung Year 2018. The design of this research is quasi experiment with one group pre-post test design. The population in this study were all elderly people who were diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis with 14 people. Sampling technique using purposive sampling. The sample is 12 people. In the data collection using interview technique and observation observation. The analysis of this research is univariate and bivariate analysis. univariate looking for the mean size. Bivariate using parametric test that is T-dependent test. The median results of pain before therapy was 4.58 and after therapy 2.25. Statistical test results obtained p value value is 0.001, p value <alpha (0,05). It is recommended that nurses can perform a combination of hand-held relaxation therapy with other drugs, aimed at reducing pain intensity in patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis. The results of this study Ha accepted or there is influence of hand-held relaxation therapy to the intensity of pain Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari permainan tradisional egrang bambu terhadap kemampuan keseimbangan motorik siswa kelas V SDN 068474 Medan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif (Eksperimen) yaitu desain One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas V yang ada di SDN 068474 Medan yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur keseimbangan motorik adalah tes berdiri dengan satu kaki menggunakan gaya kapal terbang yang dinilai berdasarkan durasi waktu dalam satuan detik. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Untuk statistik inferensial dilakukan uji normalitas dengan uji paired sample t-test untuk menguji normalitas. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa berada pada kategori sedang hingga kurang dalam hal kemampuan keseimbangan motorik. Setelah diberikan perlakuan berupa permainan tradisional egrang bambu selama empat kali pertemuan, terjadi peningkatan nilai posttest secara signifikan. Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 22,58 pada saat pretest menjadi 31,96 pada saat posttest. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, sehingga H₀ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima. Artinya, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari permainan tradisional egrang bambu terhadap peningkatan kemampuan keseimbangan motorik siswa. Dengan demikian, permainan tradisional egrang bambu dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan motorik khususnya keseimbangan pada anak sekolah dasar
