Abstract

Gekko gecko is a member of the order Squamata from the family Gekkonidae and mainly feeds on small insects. This study aims to determine the morphology of the tongue of Gekko gecko through Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), hematoxylin–eosin (HE) staining, and immunohistochemistry (IHC). Six adult Gekko gecko were obtained from the Special Region of Yogyakarta, and Gekko gecko tongue samples were stored in SEM fixative solution and then observed with SEM. For histochemical and IHC staining, tongue samples were processed into paraffin blocks and cut into 8 µm-thick sections. The SEM revealed three types of papillae: dome-shaped papillae at the apex, fan-shaped papillae at the corpus, and scale–like papillae at the radix. Histological observations showed that the tongue of the Gekko gecko was composed of tunica mucosa and tunica muscularis, and goblet cells were present in the lamina of the epithelial mucosa. Meanwhile, no taste buds were found. Immunoreactivity against PGP 9.5 was observed on the tunica muscularis of the apex, corpus, and radix. Taken together, this study provides new insight into the tongue morphology of Gekko gecko and is dominated by mechanical papillae on the tongue surface.

Abstract

AbstractThe main aim of this paper is to have an innovative model for helping students to design an e-portfolio assessment subject. This study developed an e-portfolio measurement instrument model, at the individual level of analysis, using responses from 40 e-portfolio student users from the fourth-semester students of Muhammadiyah University, were purposively selected to assess the success of their e-portfolio implementations from their students' perspective. Academic institutions can use the results of this research to assess the success of their e-portfolio implementations from their students’ perspective. It employs the research and development method to collect data, which were used to achieve strengthen confidence in the learning outcomes. Innovative learning is an approach or learning method that uses new, creative ways, prioritizing skills visible in student learning outcomes. Language Assessment and Evaluation courses play an important role in various activities. In terms of the use of e-portfolio for teaching objectives to be achieved, lecturers are required to use interesting methods of e-portfolio implementation teaching assessment and evaluation skills because the results can be used to improve learning outcomes. The findings show that the students' common perceptions of obstacles were inadequate Internet access and trouble adjusting to the e-portfolio. The implementation of the e-portfolio is new, so it is vital to get the opinions of those who use it daily. The paper outlines the advantages and drawbacks of utilizing the e-portfolio as a tool for academic assessment. This will direct scholars and practitioners in the proper implementation of the e-portfolio in higher education establishments

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis berbagai faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat kedisiplinan siswa di SMP Al Washliyah 5 H. Perak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan wawancara mendalam yang dilakukan terhadap guru dan siswa, sehingga dapat menggali perspektif dan pengalaman langsung dari kedua belah pihak. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti lingkungan sekolah, peran orang tua, dan motivasi individu siswa memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kedisiplinan. Selain itu, interaksi antara guru dan siswa juga terbukti memainkan peran penting dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi pihak sekolah dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan kedisiplinan siswa dan menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang lebih baik. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini tidak hanya berkontribusi pada pengembangan teori pendidikan, tetapi juga memberikan rekomendasi praktis untuk implementasi di lapangan.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the process and efforts of the Walenrang and Lamasi (Walmas) people to keep blossoming the Luwu Tengah district that includes various segments of Walmas people. The community of students, local leaders, youth and regional officials participating in the blossoming effort is accelerating. As a socio-political process, these people dynamics reflected local people's wants which faced the central government regulation. This article analyses the function and dynamics of decentralization, that is, regional proliferation in Indonesia. The results of this study show that the Walenrang and Lamasi (Walmas) community movement has reached the requirements for meeting the new district but is constrained by the moratorium given by the central government

Abstract

AbstractThe impact of environmental damage caused by mining activities, especially nickel mining, is still a common problem. There is no shared awareness to protect the environment so that it remains balanced from various parties, namely companies that carry out mining production, the government as a regulatory policy, and the community as the party that operates environmental damage due to mining production activities. This study uses an environmental and political approach to describe the problems of environmental damage. The method used in this research is qualitative research. Data and information sources were obtained from observations, discussions, and references to literature documents from books, journals, and electronic information media. The results of this study found environmental damage due to nickel mining due to several things, namely mining production activities in forest areas, problem permissions of mining and the dynamics between profit interests and environmental damage resulting from mining activities. Abstract

Tujuan yang ingin dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis Open Educational Resources (OER) pada mata kuliah Perencanaan Program PLS dan mengetahui kelayakan dari pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis OER pada mata kuliah Perencanaan Program PLS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Research and Development (R&D) yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan bahan  ajar berbasis Open Education Resources (OER) untuk meningkatkan kompetensi lulusan pada mata kuliah Perencanaan Program Pendidikan Masyarakat. Data untuk penelitian diperoleh melalui Angket yang disebarkan untuk melihat perkembangan dan kelayakan bahan ajar perencanaan program penmas berbasis OBE tersebut secara langsung maupun penyebaran melalui online menggunakan Google Form. Teknik analisis data adalah analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif. deskriptif berbentuk persentase. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis Open Educational Resources (OER) pada mata kuliah Perencanaan Program PLS dan untuk peningkatan kompetensi lulusan pada mata kuliah Perencanaan Program PLS.

Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kesadaran lingkungan dikalangan peserta didik, yang disebabkan oleh pendekatan pendidikan lingkungan yang masih terbatas pada aspek ekologi, tanpa mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai spiritual dan moral yang bersumber dari ajaran Al-Qur’an. Oleh karena itu diperlukan program pengelolaan sampah berbasis sekolah yang menanamkan nilai amanah,  tanggung jawab sebagai khalifah, dan larangan berbuat kerusakan sejak dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji integritas nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam implementasi program pengelolaan sampah di SD IT Al-Furqon. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan studi kasus melalui program pengelolaan sampah di SD IT Al-Furqon, diintegrasikan secara harmonis dengan pembelajaran berbasis Al-Qur’an dan sains baik melalui kurikulum, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, maupun budaya sekolah. Subjek atau informan dalam penelitian ini meliputi; kepala sekolah, guru (terutama guru PAI dan guru kelas), siswa, serta orang tua siswa yang terlibat langsung dalam pengelolaan sampah di SD IT Al-Furqon. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret hingga bulan Mei 2025 selama kurang lebih tiga bulan. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dianalisis dengan Teknik analisis kualitatif melalui tahapan reduksi data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Implementasi nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an terbukti memperkuat motivasi dalam menjaga kebersihan, mengelola sampah, dan merawat tanaman sebagai bagian dari ibadah. Dengan demikian integrasi Al-Qur’an dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam program pengelolaan sampah berkontribusi dalam pembentukan karakter peduli lingkungan yang holistik dan transformatif. Implikasi atau kontribusi hasil penelitian ini adalah memberikan model Pendidikan lingkungan yang holistik berbasis nilai-nilai Al-Qur’an, yang dapat diterapkan di sekolah dasar untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis, spiritual, dan moral siswa sejak dini.

Abstract

The high number of cases of promiscuity among adolescents demonstrates the need for an educational approach that not only conveys information but also fosters strong and responsible character. Adolescents require learning media that is fun, interactive, and addresses both cognitive and affective aspects simultaneously. The purpose of this activity was to develop and evaluate interactive puzzle media that combines promiscuity education with the strengthening of character values, such as responsibility, integrity, and self-esteem. The methods used were Socialization, Counseling, SGD, and Evaluation (interactive puzzle media). This activity involved 35 junior high school students as respondents. The intervention was carried out through educational puzzle sessions specifically designed to help adolescents understand the risks of promiscuity and reflect on adolescent choices and moral values. Interactive puzzle media was used to assess adolescents' knowledge and character aspects before and after the intervention. The results showed that the use of interactive puzzle media was proven effective in increasing adolescents' knowledge about the risks of promiscuity while strengthening character values such as responsibility, integrity, and self-esteem. This media has the potential to be an alternative interactive learning method that can be used sustainably in schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to figure out how to assist youngsters pronounce words properly using the "Say It" app at SMA Negeri 8 Makassar. A pre-experimental design and quantitative research approach were employed in this investigation. To collect study data, pre-test, treatment, and post-test techniques were employed. The proper pronunciation of twenty words from the pre- and post-tests is required. According to study results, utilizing the "Say It" app enhanced students' pronunciation dramatically. Prior to therapy, the average score was 70.3, and after treatment, the average score was 90.3, suggesting a 28.44% increase in percentage. This suggests that the kids' pronunciation has improved.

Abstract

Anatomical variations in brain shape and size among fish can be influenced by both species and habitat. The cerebellum of the fish brain, plays an essential role in balance regulation and the coordination of motor activity. However, information regarding the fundamental structure of the cerebellum in the climbing perch (Anabas testudineus) is still limited compared with zebrafish (Danio rerio) as the animal model. This study aimed to investigate the histological features of the climbing perch cerebellum. Transverse and sagitttal sections of the cerebellum were fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin (NBF), processed into histological slides, and stained using cresyl violet. The parts of cerebellum and neurons morphology were observed using a light microscope equipped with Optilab then the resulting data were analyzed descriptively. The findings revealed that the cerebellum comprises three main parts: the corpus cerebelli, valvula cerebelli, and the vestibulolateral lobe, which includes the eminentia granularis and caudal lobe. The cerebellar cortex of the corpus and a valvula cerebelli consists of the molecular layer, ganglionic layer, and granular layer, while the vestibulolateral lobe is made up of a granular layer. Various neuronal types were identified, including rounded stellate cells, pear-shaped Purkinje cells, spindle-shaped eurydendroid cells, small rounded granular cells, and rounded or polygonal Golgi cells. In conclusion, while the cerebellar histology of Anabas testudineus is largely comparable to that of Danio rerio, its valvula cerebelli lacks the medial and lateral subdivisions found in the zebrafish.
