Abstract

Recurrent or widespread diarrhea in the community is a significant health burden, especially for children and the elderly. This study will determine the priority of medical health problems in the community of Senteluk village tourism area and trace the factors that cause them. The method used in this study is the prioritization of medical and non-medical problems with the Delbecq method and the search for factors causing problems and their support through questionnaires and nutritional status checks on 177 respondents. The results are clear: diarrhea is the most prevalent medical problem in the Senteluk area, with 40% of respondents reporting it as a significant issue. This is followed by dengue hemorrhagic fever (33.33%), ARI/pneumonia (13.33%), dyspepsia (6.67%), and malaria (6.67%). The results were clear on non-medical issues as well. A whopping 79 people (44.63%) lack access to clean water, 87 (49.15%) have inadequate waste management, 98 (55.37%) lack proper liquid waste management (drainage), and 117 (66.1%) lack effective diarrhea prevention programs. Furthermore, the source of nutrition for residents is also not good resulting in Abnormal nutritional status 111 (62.71%). This is a significant factor influencing the incidence of diarrhea in Senteluk tourist village

Abstract

Creative economy has become one of the pillars of regional development in Indonesia, including in Banten Province. There is significant potential in the tourism, cultural, and MSME sectors, which are continuously being developed by local governments through medium-term development policies. However, the development of the creative economy still faces various challenges, such as limited human resources, institutions, and market access. This research reviews the development of the creative economy in Banten Province by integrating public policy study results, dependency theory, and local innovation practices based on ecotourism. Through a SWOT analysis, this article formulates development strategies that emphasize collaboration among actors (Penta Helix), increasing human resource capacity, product diversification, and strengthening local branding. The study's results show that the development of the creative economy in Banten must be directed towards sustainable, independent models that are community-oriented to avoid falling into independency patterns global economic.

Abstract

NS1 gene of Dengue Virus Serotype 2 (DENV-2) plays a significant role in the pathogenesis and clinical severity of dengue infections, including Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever. Mutations in the NS1 gene of DENV-2 are closely associated with the clinical severity of dengue. Methods: This review article employs a systematic review methodology, utilizing Scopus, PubMed and Web of Science from 2015 to 2025. Results: The T164S mutation was consistently associated with increased severity through elevated secreted NS1 (sNS1) production, complement activation, and inflammation. Conversely, the S103T mutation appeared in milder cases. NS1 mutations also correlated with immune hyperactivation, vascular leakage, and, in some cases, neurological symptoms such as encephalitis. Despite these findings, direct causality between specific mutations and clinical outcomes requires further investigation. Conclusion: Mutations in the NS1 gene of DENV-2 affect the stability, secretion, and immunogenic properties of the NS1 protein, leading to increased vascular leakage and severe disease outcomes
