Abstract

Bahasa inggris merupakan bahasa internasional yang wajib untuk dikuasai setiap orang untuk dapat mempermudah dalam berkomunikasi dengan warga asing, dalam prakteknya bahasa inggris sulit untuk dikuasai sehingga berbagai metode pembelajaran bermunculan sebagai media untuk belajar bahasa inggris yang diterapkan mulai dari anak usia dini sampai dengan dewasa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan cara belajar bahasa inggris bagi siswa SD kelas 4 dengan media game. Game ini sendiri dilengkapi dengan media pembelajaran bahasa inggris yang berisi konten latihan dan soal bahasa inggris sesuai dengan standar kompetensi guna meningkatkan kualitas berbahasa inggris anak mulai dari sejak dini. Game ini menggunakan metode Linear Conruential Generator (LCG) yang diterapkan pada dadu untuk memberikan nilai acak yang bagus dan Finite State Machine (FSM) sebagai alur game untuk menentukan setiap langkah dan keputusan yang diambil oleh pemain. Game juga menerapkan Artificial Intellegence untuk pemain yang dijalankan oleh computer sebagai lawan yang harus dihadapi seperti pada permainan monopoli pada umumnya. Game ini telah diuji dengan memberikan kuisioner kepada user yang telah mencoba memainkan gameplay dari game monopoli ini. Berdasarkan ujicoba tersebut, sistem sangat berguna untuk mengasah kemampuan anak SD dalam mempermudah proses belajar menggunakan bahasa inggris.

Abstract

Burung puyuh merupakan salah satu jenis unggas penghasil telur berprotein tinggi serta rendah lemak. Hal ini menjadi alasan kuat banyak peternak memilih burung puyuh sebagai hewan ternak. Namun sebagai hewan ternak, burung puyuh juga rawan terkena penyakit. Ditambah lagi banyak peternak khususnya pemula yang minim pengetahuan. Forward chaining merupakan metode penalaran yang dimulai dari fakta yang diketahui menggunakan mesin inferensi. Pencarian dilakukan dengan menggunakan aturan, jika kondisi terpenuhi maka akan dilakukan aksi. Fakta yang diketahui digunakan untuk memperoleh fakta baru dan melanjutkan proses hingga kesimpulan dicapai. Untuk membuat sistem pakar digunakan data basis pengetahuan dari dokter. Sistem pakar telah dibuat menggunakan bahasa PHP dan MySQL. Untuk mengujinya, diambil 20 sampel data uji dari sebuah peternakan. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan akurasi sistem terhadap diagnosa dokter sebesar 85%, dan presisi sebesar 100%. Kesimpulannya, pembuatan sistem pakar diagnosa penyakit pada burung puyuh menggunakan metode forward chaining berhasil menyimpulkan jenis penyakit beserta solusi penanganannya.

Abstract

Community Service, which becomes the main discussion in this article, shows the real role of the world of information technology in helping community service partners. Aisyiyah Putri Orphanage (PAP'A) Malang, as the community service partner, has a catering business and many customers from universities, or hospitals, as well as other communities. The growing number of PAP'A's catering business customers require special handling of the documentation of the expenditure and income, to this point, the recording of the cash book and the preparation of financial reports are still done manually on paper, books or using excel. This has the impact of data inaccuracy due to human error, difficulty in data tracing, or receipts and bills for data recap are sometimes missing and making it difficult to find detailed information about orders in PAP'A catering business. To overcome this problem, developing a website-based cash book to assist and facilitate information on the expenditure and income in PAP'A's catering business is required. Making a web-based digital cash book application can make it easier and make cash flow information and financial reports neater and easier to trace. The partner of this community service activity will benefit from increasing the quality of knowledge and mastery of human resources in the field of digitizing digital ledgers. This will be a provision for the orphanage manager to be able to make income and expenditure reports

Abstract

The Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) Chapter Malang Raya, which covers area of Malang City, Batu City, and Malang Regency, faces challenges in managing doctor membership data and presenting information related to customer services and public services. To overcome these obstacles, a website-based information system was developed that integrates the Membership Management Information System with the Geographic Information System (GIS). The Membership Management Information System facilitates efficient management data of physician member of IDI chapter Malang Raya, including status of membership, competence of medical doctors, speciality, and subspeciality. Whereas GIS system serves to map the location of doctor practices. Integration these two systems making it easier for people to find the nearest health services. The system was developed using the waterfall methodology, which involves the stages of requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The result is a platform that can improve IDI's internal efficiency and make it easier for people to access health services. This system has the potential to be further developed with the addition of security features and functionality such as real-time monitoring and mobile application integration, thus supporting more responsive and integrated health services

Abstract

In the era of advanced education, assessing lecturer performance is crucial to maintaining educational quality. One aspect of this assessment involves evaluating the textbooks authored by lecturers. This study addresses the problem of efficiently detecting International Standard Book Numbers (ISBNs) within these textbooks using optical character recognition (OCR) as a potential solution. The objective is to determine the effectiveness of OCR, specifically the Tesseract platform, in facilitating ISBN detection to support lecturer performance assessments. The research method involves automated data collection and ISBN detection using Tesseract OCR on various sections of textbooks, including covers, tables of contents, and identity pages, across different file formats (JPG and PDF) and orientations. The study evaluates OCR performance concerning image quality, rotation, and file type. Results of this study indicate that Tesseract performs effectively on high-quality, low-noise JPG images, achieving an F1 score of 0.97 for JPG and 0.99 for PDF files. However, its performance decreases with rotated images and certain PDF conditions, highlighting specific limitations of OCR in ISBN detection. These findings suggest that OCR can be a valuable tool in enhancing lecturer performance assessments through efficient ISBN detection in textbooks.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemilik UMKM sering kali menghadapi beragam tantangan dalam menjalankan usahanya. Beberapa di antaranya adalah keterbatasan dalam aspek keuangan dan manajerial, yang menyebabkan mereka kesulitan dalam mempersiapkan modal kerja yang memadai dan memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendek. Selain itu, kurangnya kemampuan dalam memperkirakan ketersediaan kas untuk kebutuhan operasional sering menjadi kendala yang signifikan. Hambatan-hambatan ini dapat menghambat perkembangan usaha dan menurunkan daya saing UMKM di pasar. Salah satu hambatan utama yang dihadapi oleh pemilik UMKM adalah minimnya kemampuan dalam hal keuangan dan manajerial. Keterbatasan ini membuat UMKM kesulitan dalam mempersiapkan modal kerja yang cukup serta memenuhi kewajiban jangka pendek mereka. Akibatnya, banyak UMKM yang mengalami kesulitan dalam menjaga kelancaran operasional dan kestabilan finansial, terutama dalam menghadapi tuntutan bisnis sehari-hari. UMKM juga mengalami kesulitan untuk memperkirakan ketersediaan kas dalam rangka memenuhi kebutuhan operasional dan kewajiban jangka pendek. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai pengelolaan kas bagi UMKM Asri Kota Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam sosialisasi adalah ceramah dan dialog aktif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan UMKM Asri Kota Malang mengenai manajemen kas. Metode yang digunakan mencakup pelaksanaan pre-test di awal kegiatan, dengan nilai rata-rata 78,67, dan post-test di akhir kegiatan, yang menunjukkan peningkatan nilai rata-rata menjadi 89,36, memberikan bukti adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 10%. Namun, kegiatan sosialisasi ini sebaiknya dilakukan secara berkelanjutan dengan pendampingan kepada UMKM tersebut agar pengelolaan kas yang digunakan semakin baik dan efektif. Kata kunci: onthok yuyu; tepung ketan; Asri UMKM; jangka pendek; manajerial. Abstract Owners of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) often face various challenges in running their businesses. Some of these include limitations in financial and managerial aspects, which make it difficult for them to prepare adequate working capital and meet short-term obligations. Additionally, the lack of ability to estimate cash availability for operational needs often becomes a significant obstacle. These barriers can hinder business growth and reduce the competitiveness of MSMEs in the market. One of the main challenges faced by MSME owners is the limited financial and managerial skills. These limitations make it difficult for MSMEs to prepare sufficient working capital and meet their short-term obligations. As a result, many MSMEs struggle to maintain smooth operations and financial stability, especially when dealing with the daily demands of business. They also face difficulties in estimating cash availability to meet operational needs and short-term obligations. This community service activity was conducted to enhance knowledge about cash management for "Asri" MSME in Malang City. The method used in the outreach was a combination of lectures and active dialogue. The results of this activity showed an increase in the knowledge of "Asri" MSME regarding cash management. The method involved conducting a pre-test at the beginning of the activity, with an average score of 78.67, and a post-test at the end, showing an increase to an average score of 89.36, demonstrating a knowledge improvement of 10%. Abstract

Sentiment analysis plays a crucial role in natural language processing by identifying and categorizing opinions or emotions conveyed in textual data. It is widely applied across diverse fields such as product review analysis, social media monitoring, and market research. To enhance the accuracy and reliability of sentiment classification, various methods and feature extraction techniques have been explored. This study investigates the use of Support Vector Machine (SVM) for sentiment analysis, comparing three feature extraction techniques: Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), Bag of Words (BoW), and Word2Vec. Our findings indicate that SVM performs effectively with all three feature extraction methods, with TF-IDF yielding the highest accuracy at 0.79. Although the BoW method showed competitive results, it slightly trailed TF-IDF in k-fold validation. Word2Vec, however, exhibited the lowest performance, achieving a maximum accuracy of 0.69. A comparative analysis of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score highlight the superiority of TF-IDF in delivering consistent and accurate results. Further statistical analysis using ANOVA revealed no significant differences between the models across any of the evaluation metrics. Additionally, the evaluation was conducted under several scenarios, including tests on balanced and imbalanced datasets, varying dataset sizes, and different CCC parameter values for SVM. These scenarios provided deeper insights into the factors influencing the system's performance, reinforcing that TF-IDF combined with SVM remains the most effective approach in this study.

Abstract

Sugar is a crucial commodity in Indonesia, with demand increasing annually. Variations in sugar production require accurate prediction strategies for industrial planning. This study aims to analyze the performance of the Extreme Learning Machine (ELM) and Multiple Linear Regression (MLR) methods in predicting sugar production. This research employs a quantitative experimental approach, with sugar production data during the 2020-2023 milling period as the research subject. Data collection techniques involve observation and documentation, while data analysis techniques utilize Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) and 10-Fold Cross-Validation to measure model accuracy. The results indicate that ELM has a lower error rate (MAPE 16.06%) compared to MLR (MAPE 27.90%), making it more effective in capturing complex sugar production patterns. Implementing this model in a web-based system also enables more efficient production monitoring. The ELM method proves to be superior in predicting sugar production and can be integrated into industrial systems to support data-driven decision-making. Future research can explore other predictive models, such as deep learning, and consider external factors like weather and soil conditions to enhance accuracy.

Abstract

Singajaya Futsal Center (SFC) is an indoor sports facility located in Putat Kidul village, Gondanglegi sub-district, Malang regency. It has established since 2011 and aimed to provide an indoor futsal for the local community. Even though the Singajaya Futsal Center has been operating for almost 12 years, this facility has not used social media in marketing and promotion. Thus, the officers also have difficulties in reaching the right target audience. Thus, the number of visitors who come is not stable yet. Currently, SFC is trying to improve the quality of service and quality of facilities. In addition, it also strives to improve the quality of promotional and marketing content on social media. With that, the business hopes to increase the number and provide the best quality service to visitors. However, the owner is starting to realize that social media is an effective marketing tool nowadays. They started to think about using social media in promotion and marketing. Additionally, they still have to figure out the right way to use social media and evaluate its effectiveness. The results of this PPM activity create appropriate and attractive social media for visitors. In addition, employees also got the opportunity to directly manage and promote using social media.
