Abstract

Increasing the use of electricity resources can lead to an energy crisis, so efforts are needed to make efficient use of these resources. Malang State Polytechnic is one of the educational institutions that needs electrical energy to support learning activities. Based on the total number of students more than 10,000 so that the electrical power used daily can be categorized as very large. Along with the development of information technology that is increasingly rapid, it is possible to build an application to monitor the use of electricity resources so that it is expected to minimize the use of electrical energy that is not so important. This study using the Fuzzy Tsukamoto and Raspberry PI methods for monitoring and profilling light conditions. Input variables used are light and time which consists of five linguistic values. This research was implemented in 2 laboratory rooms at Malang State Polytechnic. The Raspberry Pi can monitor the light intensity in a room using two inputs, namely light and time, then the inoutan will be processed using fuzzy inference to get a very low, low, medium, high, and very high output score. So that the light intensity intensity monitoring system in this study can be used to conduct the conditions of the use of electrical energy, especially the power of indoor lighting. Keywords : Fuzzy Tsukamoto, Light, Monitoring, Profilling, Raspberry Pi

Abstract

AbstrakProgram keluarga berencana merupakan salah satu kebijakan pemerintah untuk mengatur pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia. Untuk mendukung hal tersebut pemerintah membuat pelayanan kontrasepsi yang merupakan salah satu jenis layanan program keluarga berencana. Banyak sekali faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi akseptor dalam memilih alat kontrasepsi yang sesuai, diantaranya adalah faktor ekonomi, kesehatan dan lain sebagainya. Hal ini menjadikan tidak semua alat kontrasepsi cocok digunakan oleh akseptor. Oleh karena it perlu dibuat sebuah sistem untuk membantu akseptor ketika memilih alat kontrasepsi yang digunakan. Metode Fuzzy Inference System merupakan salah satu algoritma yang bisa digunakan untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan. Parameter yang digunakan untuk fungsi keanggotaan fuzzy dalam penelitian ini adalah umur, frekuensi sanggama, status kesehatan, efektivitas, harga, dan jangka waktu. hasil perhitungan korelasi spearman didapatkan nilai korelasi 0,606, sehingga menurut tabel korelasi spearman hasil korelasinya termasuk kategori kuat, sehingga dapat digunakan untuk membantu merekomendasikan pemilihan alat kontrasepsi yang sesuai untuk masing-masing akseptor.Kata Kunci: alat kontrasepsi, keluarga berencana, fuzzy inference system, korelasi ranking spearman AbstractThe family planning program is one of the government policies to regulate population growth in Indonesia. To support this, the government makes contraceptive services which are one type of family planning program service. There are many factors that influence the acceptor in choosing the appropriate contraceptive device, including economic factors, health and so on. This makes not all contraceptives suitable for use by the acceptors. Therefore, it is necessary to create a system to help the acceptors when choosing the contraceptive device to use. The Fuzzy Inference System method is an algorithm that can be used to help decision-making. The parameters used for the fuzzy membership function in this study are age, frequency of intercourse, health status, effectiveness, price, and time period. The results of the calculation of the Spearman correlation obtained a correlation value of 0.606, so according to the Spearman correlation table, the result of the correlation is in the strong category, so that it can be used to help recommend the selection of suitable contraceptives for each acceptor.Keywords: contraception, family planning, fuzzy inference system, spearman rank correlation

Abstract

One of the factors that influence in improving the quality of education is the quality of school principals who have good achievements. An award for selecting outstanding principals at the SMK level is an important thing to do in an effort to support the progress of educational institutions because with the selection of outstanding principals, the quality of education and school management will be further improved. This study uses the Fuzzy Tsukamoto method to help determine the ranking of outstanding principals. The input variables used were performance, portfolio, written test, publication assessment, and interviews. The result of the calculation of the Spearman correlation coefficient is 0.92, so it is a very strong correlation category.

Abstract

Internet of things (IoT) application needs to be evaluated to gain better improvement and innovation. The evaluation can be examined from user acceptance. The unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) can be used as a model to identify user acceptance in using technology, including IoT application. However, the ease of use of technology must be included, so the determining of easy of use from negative aspects must be included, so the 5th hypothesis of UTAUT (hindering condition) must be included. Before this hypothesis is formulated and included in evaluation by the user, obtaining data to identify the real condition of the user is performed using forensic analysis and ACO based classification. To evaluate this activity, this 5th hypothesis is measured by reliability and validity test, also hypothesis testing itself.

Abstract

Tingginya minat anak-anak terhadap teknologi menyebabkan pentingnya dilakukan pengarahan agar anak-anak dapat memanfaatkan teknologi untuk kegiatan pembelajaran secara positif. Anak-anak sebagai generasi penerus bangsa harus dapat dididik secara benar untuk menjadi generasi yang berkualitas melalui berbagai kegiatan seperti stimulasi, pengasuhan, pendampingan, dan pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi dan pengetahuan anak-anak agar dapat berkembang secara optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dianggap perlu dilakukan untuk memperkenalkan penggunaan teknologi yang bermanfaat kepada anak-anak di Taman Baca Galeri Kreatif. Kegiatan ini dikemas dalam bentuk pelatihan melalui sebuah aplikasi permainan tentang rambu-rambu lalu lintas dan prioritas pengguna jalan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba permainan rambu-rambu lalu lintas dan prioritas pengguna jalan untuk anak-anak di Taman Baca Galeri Kreatif, diketahui minat dan antusias mereka dalam proses pembelajaran sangat tinggi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan tingginya partisipasi para peserta didik untuk berpartisipasi dalam menjawab soal yang berkaitan dengan rambu-rambu lalu lintas secara tepat.

Abstract

Pembekalan keterampilan pada anak-anak asuh di Panti Asuhan merupakan sebuah hal penting yang dapat mereka gunakan sebagai bekal di masa depan. Panti Asuhan Putri Aisyiyah Malang memberikan para anak asuhnya dengan keterampilan berwirausaha melalui usaha katering bernama PAP’A. Seiring berkembangnya usaha katering PAP’A tersebut, jangkauan pelanggan yang melakukan pemesanan juga semakin bertambah, sehingga diperlukan adanya manajemen pemesanan yang baik. Sayangnya, katering PAP’A tidak memanfaatkan teknologi untuk melakukan manajemen pemesanan yang dilakukan oleh pelanggan. Mereka hanya mencatat transaksi pemesanan yang dilakukan melalui telepon, WhatsApp, atau SMS ke dalam sebuah buku. Hal inilah yang menyebabkan seringnya terjadi human error dan berimbas pada kerugian di pihak pelanggan maupun pihak katering PAP’A. Oleh karena itu, pada kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini, diusulkan sebuah sistem informasi dalam bentuk website yang dikembangkan untuk memudahkan pihak katering PAP’A dalam melakukan manajemen pemesenan. Dengan adanya sistem informasi ini, pihak katering PAP'A dapat melakukan pengelolaan daftar pesanan, daftar produk makanan, dan pembayaran secara lebih terstruktur. Adanya fitur pembayaran juga memberikan kemudahan bagi pihak katering PAP'A untuk menghasilkan nota bukti pembayaran yang dilakukan oleh pelanggan.

Abstract

The pandemic has caused almost all educational institutions to use online learning media to support learning activities. E-learning is a technology that is widely used because it can accommodate all learning activities. However, in general, e-learning can only perform automatic assessments for multiple choice answers but not for essay answers, so that manual assessment by the teacher becomes difficult and takes a long time. In this study, the winnowing algorithm was applied to the automatic assessment process on students' essay answers by measuring their similarity to the teacher's answer key. The stages in the automatic assessment using the winnowing algorithm begin with forming a series of k-grams, calculating the hash value, forming a window from the hash value, calculating the fingerprint value, and calculating the Jaccard Coefficient to obtain the percentage of text similarity results. The test results show that the winnowing algorithm can provide good performance when the answers to questions are in the form of short entries with the number of hashes not smaller than the window value. Meanwhile, on questions with long answers, the winnowing algorithm can still work well with an average difference of 5.2% from the results of the assessment carried out by the teacher.

Abstract

Wisma Gaharu as one of the plantations assisted by the Malang Regency Perhutani Service conducts an agarwood nursery with the species Gyrinops Versteegii. However, the agarwood plants cultivated at Wisma Gaharu are attacked by caterpillars annually, causing damage to the agarwood leaves. Accordingly, the growth of agarwood plants is hampered, and further dry out and die. This causes the owner of Wisma Gaharu to suffer huge losses, especially if the pest attacks the plant which is ready for the inoculation process in the dry season. To overcome this, agarwood farmers must pay high attention and vigilance to fight agarwood caterpillar attacks that occur throughout the year since it is considered the most dangerous pest for plants. The unavailability of production support equipment is one of the problems faced by Wisma Gaharu; there is also a need for work safety training (K3) regarding proper supporting equipment use considering the risks faced by workers in the agriculture sector. The above problems underline the main reasons for supporting equipment procurement and administering work safety training.

Abstract

Augmented Reality (AR) technology is one of the educational applications that may be created. AR is a learning tool that may be used to integrate virtual things or objects into a natural environment to engage in real-time. English is a foreign language that must be learnt. For language assistance, pupils must acquire a sufficient command of vocabulary via reading and listening exercises. Two factors contribute to the ineffectiveness of oral communication: pupils who do not have enough vocabulary knowledge and students who do not know how to employ vocabulary non their spoken language. One of the learning media that has been developed is the AR-based English vocabulary learning application which was developed in early April 2020 to September 2020. This application aims to help elementary school students (6-12 years) in learning English vocabulary. Where in the current learning which is due to the pandemic thus making distance learning. The purpose of this study is to measure the usability of the application whose vocabulary has been developed from three aspects, namely effectiveness, efficiency and user satisfaction (ISO 9241). The results of the research conducted show that the usability level of this application is 89% effectiveness, 94% efficiency and 91% user satisfaction. So that this learning application can be said to have good usability and can be used as a supporting medium for learning English vocabulary for children aged 6-12 years independently.

Abstract

Algoritma dasar pemrograman merupakan sebuah ilmu yang mempelajari dasar-dasar dalam memecahkan suatu masalah dalam membuat suatu program di komputer dengan urutan yang logis, serta tahapan dan kaidah yang sesuai. Namun, saat ini mahasiswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami konsep algoritma dan melakukan analisis studi kasus. Oleh karena itu, perlu dikembangkan suatu media pembelajaran rekonstruksi algoritma pseudocode dengan pendekatan Element Fill-in-Blank Problems di pemrograman java. Pada media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan ini berisikan studi kasus dan elemen kosong pada langkah-langkah algoritma pseudocode, dimana mahasiswa mengurutkan langkah-langkah penyelesaian dan mengisi dengan melakukan drag and drop ke elemen kosong tersebut. Berdasarkan pengujian fungsional menggunakan blackbox, didapatkan hasil dimana semua kasus uji mendapatkan hasil sesuai dengan hasil yang diharapkan yang berarti bahwa telah valid dengan tingkat validitas mencapai 100%. Selain pengujian fungsional system juga dilakukan pengujian usability. Hasil pengujian usability menggunakan SUS (System Usability Scale) diperoleh hasil 81,25 yang artinya sistem bisa diterima. Dalam hal skala penilaian, aplikasi ini memiliki nilai “B” dan termasuk kategori “Baik”. Berdasarkan hasil uji usability ini, aplikasi rekonstruksi algoritma pseudocode layak untuk digunakan dan diimplementasikan sebagai aplikasi pembelajaran.
