Abstract

Abstrak. Setiap individu memiliki budaya yang dapat membentuk kebiasaan berakhlak atau berperilaku. Proses pelaksanaan konseling masih banyak konselor yang hanya menitik beratkan pada aspek-aspek psikologis dalam pemberian proses konseling tanpa menitikberatkan konseling multicultural. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat tingkat pengetahuan calon konselor pada pemahaman layanan konseling multikultural dengan metode deskriptif pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengolahan data SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil tingkat pemahaman calon konselor terhadap pemberian layanan konseling multicultural berada pada kategori rendah sebesar 51.5% dengan indicator kesadaran diri kategori rendah sebesar 39.2%, kesadaran budaya kategori rendah 40.2%, kesadaran akan rasisme, seksisme dan kategori rendah 37.1%, kesadaran akan perbedaan individu kategori rendah sebesar 34.0%, kesadaran akan budaya-budaya lain kategori rendah sebesar 49.5%, kesadaran akan keanekaragaman kategori sangat rendah sebesar 38.1%, keterampilan akan teknik-teknik konseling kategori tinggi sebesar 41.2%. Abstract. Every individual has a culture that can form habits of character or behavior. The process of implementing counseling is still a lot of counselors who only focus on psychological aspects in providing the counseling process without focusing on multicultural counseling. This study aims to see the level of knowledge of prospective counselors on understanding multicultural counseling services with a descriptive quantitative approach with SPSS data processing. Based on the results, the level of understanding of prospective counselors towards the provision of multicultural counseling services is in the low category of 51.5% with indicators of self-awareness in the low category of 39.2%, cultural awareness in the low category of 40.2%, awareness of racism, sexism and low category 37.1%, awareness of individual differences low category by 34.0%.

Abstract

Era digital pada masa Revolusi 4.0 berdampak pada pesatnya perubahan kehidupan masyarakat berbasis teknologi digital di satu sisi, namun di sisi lain terdapat masalah mental psikologis spiritual yang membutuhkan penguatan agar sumber daya manusia unggul. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplor peranan bimbingan dan konseling Islami dalam upaya mewujudkan sumber daya manusia unggul di era digital. Penulisan merupakan kerangka konseptual yang dihasilkan dari analisis isi dari tinjauan pustaka yang mengkaji pentingnya mempersiapkan generasi unggul di era digital. Hasil penelitian tulisan ini adalah bahwa peran BKI terutama dalam ranah penguatan aspek spiritual keagamaan yang akan berdampak pada penguatan mentalitas yang mampu eksis dan bertindak sinergis untuk beradaptasi dengan perubahan dan perkembangan era digital yang pesat namun tetap dalam bingkai karakter kepribadian yang mulia.

Abstract

Siswa yang memasuki usia remaja banyak mengalami perubahan. Kesulitan penyesuaian perubahan ini menimbulkan masalah dan perilaku salah suai, sehingga perlu perilaku help-seeking konseling konselor sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hambatan perilaku help-seeking konseling konselor di sekolah pada siswa etnis Arab Desain penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan metode quasi kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi.. Sumber penelitian dengan menggunakan 12 partisipan dan 2 responden . Pengambilan data dengan teknik wawancara mendalam. Data dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Data Kualitatif dengan aplikasi NVivo12. Ada tiga tema utama sebagai hasil analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku help-seeking konseling ke konselor sekolah disebabkan oleh ketidakpercayaan pada konselor , stigma negative tentang konseling , dan sikap negatif terhadap konseling.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan hambatan perilaku mencari bantuan konseling ke konselor siswa etnis Arab, bersumber dari ketidakpercayaan kepada konselor, adanya stigma negative terhadap siswa yang konseling sebagai siswa yang nakal, berdosa, dan sikap negative yang bersumber dari nilai-nilai kultural orang Arab yaitu pelanggar iman. Implikasi penelitian ini merubah strategi konseling dengan memperhatikan konteks budaya dan cybercounseling.

Abstract

It is important for a counselor to have a comperehensive understanding of the concept of human and everything that surrounds human’s life in order to become a mentally, psychologically and spiritually healthy person. The development of guidance and counseling materials needs to be expanded continuously because of human complexity with its multidimensionality. The purpose of this study is to obtain guidance and counseling materials contained in the principles of the teachings of Sheikh Ahmad Mutamakkin through the ornaments of the Kajen Mosque which contains teaching messages regarding the human process of achieving mental health. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach, an ethnographic model with an exploratory content analysis procedure. The data sourced from the ornaments and the previous study related to the study of Kajen mosque ornaments from previous researchers. The result of the study shows that the teachings contained in the ornaments of the Kajen mosque by Sheikh Ahmad Mutamakkin can be used as a source of knowledge and value in developing guidance and counseling service materials, especially those based on religious spirituality. The results of this study can be used as a framework for counselors' thinking in providing guidance and counseling services, especially those based on Islamic religion.

Abstract

Abstrak. The causes of someone committing self-injury are lack of self-love, lack of ability to think about the impact of the actions taken, lack of understanding of emotional changes, lack of self-confidence to change for the better, and other alternatives in solving a problem. That requires intervention that can meet these psychological needs. The research's purpose is to know the impact of the application on the Basic Dimensions of Positive Existential-Humanistic in Fulfilling the Psychological Needs of Self-Injury Actors. The method used in this research is Pre-Experimental Design. Research subjects: five teenagers or adults who did self-injury, female, 16-21 years old. The results of this study are: There is an effect of applying positive basic dimensions in the Humanistic Extension intervention in fulfilling the psychological needs of self-injury perpetrators. When the intervention is given by focusing more on the positive basic dimensions of the human being, the Need for Attachment, the need for Control or Orientation, the need for Pleasure/Pain Avoidance, and the need for Self-Enhancement will be met.

Abstract

Abstract. One of the problems of basic learner in the digital era is the lack of self acceptance as the result of digital technology development. This conditions require innovative career guidance in assisting basic learners to undergo and design careers for educational levels and job opportunities that suitable to their own conditions. This research used qualitative research method. Meanwhile, data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data were analyzed using Miles and Huberman pattern, including data reduction, data display, then drawing conclusion. The results of this research are : (1) Tepo seliro - based career guidance as an innovation in growing self-compassion for basic learners of the digital era by provide career information that suitable to personal conditions, family career background as a personal approach, and recognize individual differences in career choice; (2) The supporting factors of Tepo seliro - based career guidance consist of both manual and digital information and examples that are accessed by basic learners of the digital era, the success story of public figures that are easily accessible, and popular targets. Meanwhile, the obstacle factors consisit of desire that does not measure ability, ambition without steps to achieve achievement, result-oriented social demands. The importance of research is to find innovations for growing self-compassion through tepa-selira based career guidance for basic learners of the digital era.

Abstract

Abstract. The rapidly changing world of work as the result of globalization in the industrial era 4.0 causes college graduates to feel anxious, insecure, and filled with feelings of uncertainty in determining career choices. Jobs are not guaranteed availability. There is now, tomorrow is gone, so it is difficult to predict whether today's jobs will be secure in the future. The era of disruption makes it difficult for individuals to control their own career destiny. Students need information and a comprehensive picture of themselves and the world of work they will be living in so that they are able to make the right career decisions. The career construction counseling model is considered a career counseling model that is very appropriate in dealing with the world of work in the 21st century or the disruption era. The purpose of this study is to explain how the effectiveness of career counseling career construction counseling model can help students to increase career adaptability so that they can immediately get the desired job after graduation, graduating on time, and be able to adapt in various changes that occur in the world of work when they have worked. This research uses literature studies research method. In this research data collection is carried out by studying and analyzing international journals and books that are considered relevant to the research. The results showed that career construction counseling effective in increasing career adaptability as well as to reduce anxiety, doubt, and uncertainty in career choice.

Abstract

Counseling help-seeking behavior as an effort to solve personal-social problems is influenced by the cultural values ​​of an ethnic group. The purpose of this study was to analyze the barriers to help-seeking behavior in school counseling services for students of Arab, Chinese and Javanese ethnicity in Surakarta. The research method is quasi-qualitative with an ethnographic approach. The instruments used were virtual and in-depth interview guidelines. The research source used 15 Thionghoa participants. Retrieval of data with in-depth interview techniques. Data were analyzed using Qualitative Data Analysis with the NVivo12 application. There are four main themes as a result of data analysis. The results showed that the Chinese ethnicity was influenced by a culture of collectivity and independence. The implication of this research is that in order to improve counseling help-seeking behavior, a counselor needs to understand the cultural values ​​of each learner.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a form of behavior that harms, disrupts, and threatens the safety of other users on social media. Cyberbullying is crucial to explore, considering that most research focuses on victims and less on perpetrators. The present study aimed to examine the role of emotion regulation in moderating cyber-victimization and cyberbullying. This correlational study involved 103 respondents (38 males and 65 females). They are aged 19-24, in the second to fourteenth semesters, and indicated as a perpetrator of social media. Data were collected using the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) and the Cyberbullying Inventory (CB-I). The data analysis techniques applied in this study were descriptive, correlational, cluster, and regression-based moderator analyses. The moderator analysis used the PROCESS syntax in IBM SPSS. This study showed that emotion regulation predicted decreasing cyberbullying, whereas cyber-victimization strongly correlated with cyberbullying. Furthermore, the negative correlation between cyber-victimization and cyberbullying increased when emotion regulation was low. This study confirmed that most perpetrators experienced cyber-victimization, and emotion regulation strategically reduced those circumstances.

Abstract

One of the factors that plays a role in students' career planning is local culture. In the Kuranji environment, there are students facing obstacles in career planning. Therefore, the aim of this research is to understand the role of local culture in the career decisions of students at SMAN 16 Kuranji Padang. The research method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), a type of research that involves active participation of participants in the research process, from planning to implementation and evaluation. Data is obtained through direct participation with the research subjects. After obtaining the data, descriptive analysis will be conducted. The research results indicate that the local culture influencing students' career plans includes: the role of parents in supporting students' career plans, learning awareness demonstrated by students' discipline in attending classes on time, communication skills of students with parents and peers, and self-esteem and confidence to plan for a better career.
