Abstract

The aims of this study are (1) to develop the initial product design, (2) describe the results of expert validation and practitioner as well as field try-out,  (3) develop a product based on feed- back and suggestions from the experts,  and (4) describe the revised imaginations  model profile. This study uses a research-and-development model  proposed by Borg and Gall. The data were collected through interview guide and questionnaire. The results showed that the imagination model that is developed in the form of teacher guide book is suitable to be implemented for poetry writing teaching and learning process.

Abstract

The concept of eco-poetic develops in line with changes in the perspective andawareness of poets on the environment. The poet's interaction with nature in thecreative process inspired the selection of learning strategies and learning to writepoetry. This study aims to develop a strategy to use the natural environment as asource of learning to write poetry. The results of the implementation show that thestrategy that departs from natural environment observation activities is effective inwriting natural poetry.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to (1) obtain learning data for writing  Indonesian child stories based on character education, (2) develop a learning model for writing child stories based on character education, and (3) disseminate learning models for writing Indonesian child stories based on character education to support the creative industries in grade 5 of Elementary School with lesson study. These goals are achieved through the development of research methods (Borg & Gall) lesson study. To achieve these objectives, the first phase or the first year I will do theoretical studies and surveys about the learning data writing children's stories Indonesia-based character education. Stage III or the third year will be conducted in the form of dissemination of learning model writing children's stories Indonesia-based character education to support the creative industries in grade 5 of Elementary School with lesson study.

Abstract

AbstrakTujuan penelitian adalah mengembangkan media pembelajaran penyuntingan melalui aplikasi “Sunting Pintar”. Aplikasi tersebut merupakan laman interaktif yang digunakan dosen dan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran penyuntingan. Laman terdiri atas tiga portal, yaitu admin (dosen), editor (mahasiswa), dan pengguna (masyarakat). Metode penelitian menggunakan constructivist instructional design yang terdiri atas 4 tahap, yaitu define, design, development, dan dissemination. Produk divalidasi oleh ahli bahasa dan praktisi untuk mengukur kelayakan dan kemudian diujicobakan pada mahasiswa. Responden uji coba sebanyak 30 mahasiswa  yang mengikuti mata kuliah Penyuntingan dan 10 mahasiswa Jurusan Bahasa Melayu, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dan uji coba, maka disimpulkan bahwa produk berada pada kategori layak untuk diimplementasikan dengan memperhatikan saran dari validator terkait penambahan konten materi penyuntingan dan ilustrasi gambar dalam aplikasi. AbstractThe purpose of this research was to develop editing learning media through the "Sunting Pintar" application. The application was an interactive page that was used by lecturers and students in learning editing. The page consists of three portals, namely admin (lecturer), editor (student), and user (community). This research method used constructivist instructional design which consists of 4 stages, namely define, design, development, and dissemination. The product was validated by linguists and practitioners to measure feasibility and then piloted on students. The trial respondents were 30 students who took the Editing course and 10 students of the Malay Language Department, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Yala Rajabhat University, Thailand. The data analysis technique used descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the validation and testing, it was concluded that the product was in a feasible category to be implemented by taking into account the suggestions from the validator regarding the addition of editing material content and image illustrations in the application.

Abstract

Introduction: Pre clinic grade point is often seen as predictor of good performance in professional education whose short term goal is to pass national examination which command progress test to evaluate the preparation. Purpose: To know the effect of pre clinic grade point and clinical study periods in progress test result of medical profession students. Methods: 135 students of medical profession programme completed computer based progress test of 200 national standardized questions in 200 minutes using siPENA software. Progress test result then analysed based on how long they have been studied and their pre clinic grade point using ANOVA – Tukey HSD and Pearson correlation in SPSS for Windows ver 19 Results: Although students with pre clinic grade 2,50-2,74 have lower progress test result, but it’s not statistically significant (p>0,05). The same happen in clinic study periods with the longer the students in their clinical rotation, the better their result (p>0,05). The trends which showing better result in higher pre clinic grade point and time they spend in clinical rotation agrees with previous studies. Conclusion: Pre clinic grade point and clinic study periods has little to no effect on progress test result of medical profession students in UNISMA.

Abstract

PT Soelina Inter Karya Processing bergerak dibidang produk olahan daging. Produk utama perusahaan adalah sosis sapi berwarna dan tidak berwarna, sosis ayam, dan beef burger dengan merek dagang "SOELINA". Adapun tujuan penelitian yang dilakukan pada PT Soelina Inter Karya Processing adalah untuk mengetahui besarnya pengaruh modal kerja bersih terhadap laba bersih yang diperoleh PT Soelina Inter Karya Processing. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa modal kerja bersih yang dimiliki PT Soelina Inter Karya Processing dan besarnya laba bersih yang di dapatkan oleh PT Soelina Inter Karya Processing mengalami perubahan yang fluktuatif tiap tahunnya, terbukti dari laporan keuangan yang dimiliki oleh PT Soelina Inter Karya Processing. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif yaitu penelitian yang data-datanya diambil dalam bentuk angka dan dideskripsikan atau pemaparan dengan kata-kata secara jelas terperinci sesuai data yang ada. Data-data analisa yang digunakan adalah data yang bersifat kuantitatif yaitu data-data yang bersifat angka. Berdasarkan dari perhitungan analisis koefisien regresi diperoleh persamaan model regresi Y= -1.692.024,19 + 0,730x sedangkan untuk analisis koefisien korelasi menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi (r) adalah 0,829. Dengan demikian hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hubungan modal kerja bersih dan laba bersih terdapat hubungan atau pengaruh positif kuat. Berdasarkan perhitungan diatas dimana thitung = 2,57 untuk tingkat kesalahan 5% dan ttabel 2,353 jadi dapat diketahui bahwa thitung > ttabel atau 2,57 > 2,353. Dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, berarti terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara modal kerja bersih terhadap laba bersih pada PT Soelina Inter Karya Processing.  Dari hasil penelitian ini, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara modal kerja bersih terhadap laba bersih pada PT Soelina Inter Karya Processing.  Kata Kunci: Modal Kerja Bersih, Laba Bersih

Abstract

Creativity is innate, whose truth value could only be realized if it is nurtured since early age. The important factors to enhance children’s creativity are attention and time. Many mothers have not understood their needed roles to increase children’s creativity. Therefore, further research is needed to know the role of mother as educator, caregiver, protector and its relation to the creativity of preschool age children. This research was done on Sinar Mulia kindergarten at Banda Aceh. Research design was using cross sectional study with a total sample of 50 mothers of Sinar Mulia kindergarten students. Data collection was done using a questionnaire. Then Chi-squaretest was used with α (0.05). Analysis result shows mother’s role in relation to children’s creativity as follows: mother’s role as educators with p-value = 0.005 <0.05, mother’s role as caregiver with p-value = 0.005 <0.05, mother’s role as protector with p-value = 0.001 <0.05. Combined analysis result of mother’s role, shows p-value = 0.020 <0.05. In conclusion there is a relationship between mother’s role as educator, caregiver and protector with pre-school age children creativity at Sinar Mulia kindergarten at Banda Aceh city.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to compare the differences and similarities the management of scout extracurricular activities between public Junior High School Number 1 andNumber 4 in Bengkulu City. The subjects of this study were the teachers, principals and students. The technique of collecting data were interview, observation and documentation. The results of research show that the scout management at both school has the differences and similarities in the planning,organizational structure, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. The differences in include details of the work program, scouts membership, exercise time, system monitoring and evaluation and barriers that faced. The similarities is the purpose of the organization that wants to from students ofcharacter have independence, brave, discipline and responsible.Keyword: management, scout extracurricular activities

Abstract

AbstractIntroduction :Thypoid fever is one of endemic infection diseases caused bybacteria Salmonela thypi. Occasionally, Thypoid fever is accompanied others infection therefore antibiotic combination is often used to eradicate the infection. Combination of Amoxicillin and Chloramphenicol widely used for treatment of Thypoid fever. Based on theory, the combinationproduces antagonist interaction, however it is still used by Clinicans due to mixed infection. The objective of study to know the antibacterial effect of combination Amoxicillin and Chloramphenicol onSalmonela thypigrowth. Method:The research was done by using disc diffusion methods with Muller Hinton media. Amoxicillin 0,05 µg/ml, 0,1 µg/ml, 0,2 µg/ml , Chloramphenicol 1,25 µg/ml, 2,5 µg/ml, 5 µg/ml and their combinations were tested on Salmonela thypi culture. After 24 hour of administration, antibacterial effect was observed by measuring inhibition zone on bacteria culture. The result of study was tested statistically with One WayANOVA (p=0.05) followed by the test of student-t (t-test) and test of least real difference (LSD) to find out the significance of each groups. Result and discussion: Antibiotic combinationof Amoxicillin and Chloramphenicol have anti-bacterial effect lower than single antibiotic. B-lactam antibiotic like Amoxicillin require that the cell be growing and dividing in order to havea bactericidal action. Chloramphenicolcause slow growth of Salmonella thypiand then impairs bactericidal effect of Amoxicillin. Among combination of antibiotic tested, Amoxicillin 0,5 µg/mland Chloramphenicol 5 µg/ml has antibacterial effect stronger than others. It was caused by the difference dose of bactericide and bacteriostatic used. Conclusion:Combination of Amoxicillin and Chloramphenicol has antibacterial effect lower than the single antibioticgroup on Salmonela thypi.The combination of high dose of Chloramphenicoland low dose of Amoxicillin shows antibacterial effect in the moderate category.Key words:Amoxicillin,Chloramphenicol, Combination, Salmonela thypi.
