Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengoptimalkan pengoperasian motor induksi 3 fasa dengan mengimplementasikan sistem kontrol dan monitoring yang efisien dan dapat diakses secara jarak jauh melalui jaringan internet. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan pemrograman dan pengaturan parameter pada ATV 12 untuk mengendalikan kecepatan motor induksi 3 fasa melalui PLC M221. HMI GXU-3512 digunakan sebagai antarmuka untuk memudahkan pengguna dalam memantau dan mengendalikan motor secara local control, sedangkan smartphone / PC digunakan untuk remote control. Parameter yang dapat diukur adalah nilai tegangan, arus, frekuensi, daya dan kecepatan putaran motor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang diimplementasikan dapat mengontrol dan memonitor motor induksi 3 fasa dengan efisien dan akurat. Selain itu, sistem ini juga memungkinkan pengguna untuk mengakses data dan informasi motor dari jarak jauh melalui jaringan internet.Dengan adanya sistem pengontrolan dan monitoring ini, diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan kinerja motor induksi 3 fasa, serta meminimalkan risiko kerusakan dan kecelakaan yang mungkin terjadi. Sistem ini juga dapat menjadi acuan bagi industri dalam mengembangkan sistem pengontrolan dan monitoring motor induksi yang lebih efisien dan efektif.

This study aims to produce job sheet learning media that have been tested for feasibility through validity, practicality, and effectiveness tests as a support in the implementation of practicum in the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD)-based Industrial Electrical Machinery Control course. This research was conducted on D4 students in the Industrial Electrical Engineering Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University in the Industrial Electrical Machinery Control course. This research phase uses the Research & Development (R&D) method, with the 4-D (Four-D) development model. Research data were obtained from instrument sheets or questionnaires to test validity and practicality, and performance sheets in the form of rubrics to test effectiveness. The data analysis technique in this study is descriptive quantitative. The results of the validity test of the VFD-based Industrial Electrical Machine Control Practicum Jobsheet are declared in the valid category. The results of the job sheet practicality test based on the responses of the Electrical Machine Control Course Lecturer are stated in the very practical category, and the results of the practicality test based on student responses are stated in the very practical category. And the results of the job sheet effectiveness test stated that the job sheet was effective based on the average student learning outcomes in the very good category.

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of applying Problem Based Learning as a learning model in the class XI TITL electric motor installation subject at SMKN 5 Padang. Practical learning, especially in learning to install electric motors, problems are often found in circuits when carrying out practices such as motors that cannot start. Problem Based Learning is very suitable for use in this lesson so that students are accustomed to solving possible problems that occur when carrying out practical use of electric motors. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method with a pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. The object of this research is Problem Based Learning and the effectiveness of its application to learning outcomes in the Electric Motor Installation subject. The subjects in this study were students of class XI TITL SMKN 5 Padang. The research instrument used was in the form of pretest and posttest questions in the form of objectives and practice assessment sheets. Based on the average value of the posttest, and practice worksheets are in the high category. Therefore the application of Problem Based Learning as a learning model in electric motor installation subjects is said to be effective because the classical value and effect size are in the high category.

Lansia rentan akan jatuh karena faktor usia dan tubuh yang tidak lagi kuat dan apabila terjatuh maka lansia akan sulit untuk berdiri sendiri. Dengan menggunakan sistem monitoring terjatuhnya lansia dapat mengurangi resiko kematian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu merancang dan membangun sebuah alat yang dapat mendeteksi jatuhnya lansia sehingga bisa meminimalisir dampak yang terjadi. Untuk koneksi jaringan internetnya alat ini menggunakan mikrokontroler Wemos ESP8266, dimana Wemos ESP8266 ini akan terhubung ke jaringan Wi-Fi sehingga bisa mendapatkan akses internet agar bisa mengirimkan data dari sensor tersebut ke server blynk. Sensor Accelerometer berfungsi membaca nilai kemirigan lansia dimana pada alat yang dibuat ada 2 parameter kemiringan yang dibuat yaitu sudut Pitch dan sudut Roll. Setelah melakukan pengujian terhadap alat yang dibuat, dapat dianalisa bahwa alat yang telah dibuat tersebut berkerja normal sebagaimana mestinya Jika sudut Pitch atau sudut Roll bernilai besar dari sudut 45 derajat ( >45° ) atau kecil dari sudut -45 derajat ( <-45° ) maka lansia akan terdeteksi dalam keadaan jatuh, sehingga alat akan mengeluarkan bunyi alarm dan mengirim notifikasi "Lansia Terindikasi Terjatuh Segera Cek ke Lokasi".Notiikasi akan dikirim ke perangkat pengguna yang telah di pasang aplikasi blynk.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih banyaknya siswa kelas X TITL SMK Negeri 5 Padang yang ketuntasan belajar dibawah KKM pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh penerapan model pembelajaran yang belum menuntut peran aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan penelitian dengan menggunakan model problem based learning untuk mencapai pembelajaran yang lebih efektif sehingga meningkatnya hasil pembelajaran siswa.Jenis penelitian ini adalah praeksperimen dengan desain One Group Pretest-Posttest. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik 2 yang berjumlah 30 orang, Soal uji coba instrument pretest dan prottest berjumlah 40 butir. Berdasarkan analisis soal uji coba, didapatkan soal yang valid untuk pretest 33 soal dan posttest 36 soal. Reliabilitas soal pretest dan posttest tergolong sangat tinggi dengan hasil perhitungan masing-masing 0,86 dan 0,85. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tes hasil belajar (posttest) berupa soal objektif sebanyak 26 soal. Setelah diuji normalitas data, dilakukan analisis dengan menggunakan uji Gain Score. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa rata-rata nilai pretest sebelum menerapkan model PBL sebesar 73,19 dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa sebesar 46,67%, dengan rata-rata nilai posttest setelah menerapkan model PBL adalah 81,28 dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar siswa sebsar 86,67%. nilai Gain Score diperoleh dengan membandingkan nilai pretest dan posttest tersebut dengan score yang didapatkan adalah 0,3017 dengan kategori sedang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas penerapan model problem based learning (PBL) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TITL pada mata pelajaran Dasar Listrik dan Elektronika di SMK Negeri 5 Padang.

Minuman kopi merupakan salah satu minuman yang sangat diminati oleh masyarakat. Salah satu permasalahan yang sering terjadi di masyarakat dalam membuat minuman kopi adalah membuat minuman kopi tidak sesuai takaran campuran bahan minuman kopi yang diinginkan dan waktu pembuatan kopi cukup lama. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat alat pembuat minuman kopi otomatis yang memiliki 3 varian menu sesuai dengan selera yang diinginkan peminum, proses pembuatan alat ini terdiri dari pembuatan mekanik alat berupa bentuk fisik alat, pembuatan rangkaian kelistrikan alat agar kelistrikan pada setiap komponen bekerja dengan baik dan pembuatan coding program untuk menjalankan alat sesuai fungsinya. Setelah dilakukan beberapa percobaan, semua komponen dalam sistem ini dapat bekerja sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian dengan Dapat disimpulkan sistem kerja pembuatan minuman kopi dapat bekerja dengan baik dalam hal penakaran bahan minuman kopi dan terbilang cepat dalam permbuatan minuman kopi, alat ini bisa menjadi salah satu alternatif yang dapat diterapkan oleh peminum atau peminat kopi dalam membuat kopi secara otomatis.

This research discusses efforts to enhance the professional competence of teachers in Vocational High Schools (SMK) specializing in the field of Electricity. It does so through the implementation of a training program based on Variable Speed Drive (VSD) technology for electric motor control. The training program encompasses two distinct learning approaches: theoretical and practical instruction on motor control using VSD technology. This material forms an essential part of the curriculum for installing electric motors in vocational schools. It is crucial for every teacher to comprehend it thoroughly, as vocational school curricula must adapt to the latest developments in science and technology, commonly referred to as the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0). This research focused on 20 electricity teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi as its subjects. The research findings indicate a significant improvement in teachers' professional competence in electric motor installation, particularly in electric motor control using VSD technology, following the implementation of the training program. This improvement is reflected in the posttest results, with 88.7% of participants passing in this particular subject. In conclusion, the Variable Speed Drive Based Electric Motor Control Training for teachers can effectively enhance their professional competence in electric motor installation, aligning with the demands of Industry 4.0.

This research focuses on increasing students' interest and skills in Electrical Engineering Drawing through the application of the Project-Based Learning learning model with the support of Autocad as a tool. The aim is to overcome obstacles in conventional learning and improve the effectiveness and results of students' practice. This research uses a quasi-experiment approach with a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The subjects were students of class X TKL 1 and To measure effectiveness, the experimental group was given treatment using the Project-Based Learning learning model assisted by Autocad, while the control group applied the conventional learning model. Psychomotor results will be analyzed through a number of tests, including descriptive, t-test, classical exhaustiveness, and effect size. Based on the research results, it appears that the experimental group using the Project-Based Learning learning model assisted by Autocad had a significantly higher average score (82.89) than the control group (68.53). The standard deviation of the experimental group was also lower, indicating better consistency. In addition, the pass percentage in the experimental group (94.4%) was much higher than the control group (25%). Thus, it can be concluded that the application of this learning model is effective in improving students' practical results in the Electrical Engineering Drawing subject at SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi.

This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of students' learning process using the Project-Based Learning learning model in the Electrical Lighting Installation subject in class XI TKL SMK N 1 Bukittinggi. The learning process for Electrical Lighting Installation in class The Project-Based Learning learning model is a learning model that is suitable for use in learning Electrical Lighting Installation because it increases student activity, trains students to think critically, and develops students' skills. This research uses a type of experimental research in the form of a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this research were class XI students at SMK N 1 Bukittinggi in the 2023/2024 academic year. The instrument used in this research used students' practical performance assessment sheets. The research results showed that the learning outcomes of students using the Project-Based Learning learning model were superior to the learning outcomes of students using conventional learning models. Therefore, learning using the Project-Based Learning learning model can be said to be effectively applied to the Electrical Lighting Installation subject.

This paper describes the optimization of energy conversion when solar radiation occurs at peak power conditions, namely at 11.00 am to 2.00 pm where the position of the sun is parallel to the layout of the PV Rooftop installation. The panels used are 5 units with the type of polycrystalline with a capacity of 1 panel unit consisting of 250 Wp. The position of the panels installed on the roof of the Andalas University building is based on an angle of 90o degrees with a position of ±255m above sea level. The advantages obtained when placed on the roof of the building are due to the minimal impact of shadow effects and environmental disturbances. Data retrieval using DC current and voltage sensors is then connected to the Arduino Uno microcontroller which is then interfaced in graphic form. Considerations in the installation of PV by reviewing the weather conditions at that time where the conditions were sunny and the air was clean with the aim that the performance when solar radiation entered the solar cells could be produced more optimally. Based on the data obtained at peak power, PV can convert DC power to 972.56 Wp. In the final stage of collecting data recorded on this PC, it can later be used as a reference for installing solar panels for household electricity scales in the West Sumatra region.
